All I can say is that Pedro did an amazing job helping me find the right fit car for me it was fun and he did an excellent job making it happen all I can say is Merced Honda is the place you want to purchase a vehicle even the financial manager was very helpful and honest they offer Honda care that basically covers you fully it’s not insurance it’s just an extra premium care for you’re car so if anything ever happens you don’t pay outta pocket and you’re covered from radiator fuel pump motor starter anything 🙏 such a great team thank you Merced Honda !

I will not go anywhere else to service my Honda. Ive been taking my all my Hondas here since 2005. The knowledge of my Service Advisor Luis has been extraordinary. Especially when Im in a crisis situation. I can give him what code comes up and without even looking it up, he knows what it is. Hes saved me more times than I can count. From towing one of my vehicles in and making sure a rental is ready for me should my car be there longer than expected. The entire Service Team is professional & kind. I love that they care enough to let me ride with a Master Mechanic to let them hear what Im hearing. Talking with them a d making a plan of whats needed to correct the issue. Just all the way around, this dealership cares and is very knowledgeable. Thank you Luis for always taking care of me. You truly are amazing.

AVOID Merced Honda! We drove one hour just for a dude to not look at us or answer our questions. He did not even take us to his desk to do finances. We stood there outside with the sun in our eye and he was UNWILLING to offer any rates or explain anything.

The Honda Service department staff were very friendly and punctual. I had a 9am appointment and someone came to check me in right away. If I was walking around someone always asked if they could help me.The location has the usual tv, coffee, and comfy chairs in the waiting area. Nothing special but standard stuff.We will see how the repair goes so more to come on that.

Need a oil change, so called (9:50) yesterday August 4, 2021 and was transferred to service - on hold for awhile then transfered to leave message, so I did. Is your service dept opened? I know with COVID lots of issues with getting employees. I also went to the Merced Honda website and left a text message. Still nothing, maybe your dealership closed down. I live 40 miles away - guess I will drive 70 miles to Fresno. You can bet I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM YOUR DEALERSHIP. Another day down and no call!

Routine oil change, had to make an appointment a week ago, and I’ve waited over 3 hours. No explanation unless I asked what the delay was and was told they were just getting to my car!! What’s the point of making an appointment ?I have been coming here for over 10 years and used to walk in as soon as they opened . Generally was in and out in an hour or less. What has happened to their service department? Won’t be coming back or recommending to other Honda owners.

I have been going here for years and service has slowly been getting worse with each visit. Today, in a long line of appointments, I found myself walking in and having to wait for the two cashiers who constantly kept answering phone calls when there were many customers waiting. After I finally was attended to, I came for a routine oil change which I made an appointment for earlier in the week, I had to wait two and a half hours for my name to be called. Not once was I given an explanation for the long wait and customers that showed up after me had already come and gone with their cars done. Apparently appointments equal 2 hour waits for oil changes now? Not impressed.

My first test drive was awesome. The sales person was welcoming and respectful. Texting with the online salesperson was ok as well. When I arrived to get a trade-in value on my car, I was turned away because I did not have an appointment. So, I made an appointment for two days later, arrived on time a informed the salesperson was with another buyer. Ugh! I was reassigned a different salesperson. (The original salesperson did apologize) The trade-in value of my car was significantly below Kelly BB trade-in value based on minor scratches on wheels, a mysterious black spot under my windshield and a blister on the silver adhesive on the console. I drove directly to another car dealer and was offered $1,500 more on my trade-in. I hate the entire car buying process but this experience was very unpleasant.

Even though I did not buy a Honda I was able to acquire Honda Care and I have no worries. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I had a bad experience with Toyota across the street, Toyota shut me down immediately after they found out I was a first time buyer even though I had good credit and a job that I’ve been at for over 10 years. I went to merced Honda and got a great deal on a car, drove it home that day. The sales consultant name that helped me out was Bryan Jones. You need a car I highly recommend to ask for him.

I paid 3500 to get service work done on a car I just got along with the diagnostic only to take it back in and find out I needed a whole new engine. They said nothing about the noise until after I brought it back to them. I barely realized it had a noise and took it for them to listen they heard it right away and pointed out on the paper the note they made that they notified me of the engine noise on the car. They never went over that part of the paper! My fault for knowing nothing about cars and not looking deep into the paperwork though right. Never again will I go back to Honda Merced.

Luis (service center) was fantastic. We were on our way home, 150 miles from home, when warning lights came on. We called our home area Honda dealer, spoke with the service manager for advice, who then reached out to madera Honda (Luis) which was the next closest dealer from where we were. When we got there, Luis met us and promptly got our 2015 Pilot in for diagnostic. Turns out it was only a software update that was required! We were in, out, and on our way home within 30 minutes. Thanks again, so much, madera Honda and especially, Luis.

Brought my wifes vehicle twice for regular service intervals. They never do anything aside from an oil change they dont check any fluids or anything else that needs to be changed. I checked the air filter myself and it was completely filthy. I bring in my car expecting this stuff to be checked very poor service

LOVE Merced Honda!!! Took my fiances car in for an oil change and was met with exceptional service. Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the gentleman who helped me, which is a real shame. I have a 7 month old and lugging him plus all the essentials is not easy. Not only did he inform me of a shuttle service should I need a ride while waiting, he brought the car up to the very front. That way it would be easier to load in my baby and I would not have to walk too far carrying him in his carseat. The service here, wonderful! Everyone is polite and they are true to their word on the amount of time it will take to get the car done.

I bought my car used from Merced Kia its a civic, first that was a big mistake but I had a recall that was not taken care of and called Merced Honda they took care of it. Then when it was time to take care of my AC called them up, got a appt quickly and was fix quickly. The staff there was very cordial and nice, very polite. Now, as for sales there is a guy that is veteran I believe his name is Bryan, I call him the Army dude...lol. Anywho, while waiting for my Civic to be fixed I test drove a Honda Odyssey. He was very patient while I had my two kids with me, and we drove around town. If I am going to buy from Merced Honda it will be from this guy because he is a no pressured salesman and very friendly but most of all LISTENS!!! I gave only 4 because I have yet to buy a car through them but I am sure once I do that I will be more than happy.

The 1 star is only because I cant give a negative star rating. My CR-V I bought new from Merced Honda in 2017 was making a little noise so I took it in January 2nd 2020. My teenager left his nintendo switch with games in the case under the driver seat and it was stolen. Jesus Barajas was the technician listed on the work order we got. My husband and I went and talked to Dave Woodall the service manager who after some investigating told us that we shouldnt have let our teenager leave anything in the car if we didnt want it stolen. Dave basically told us it was our fault that our kids gaming system was stolen and we should have taken everything we didnt want stolen out before we left our car at the dealership for service. After speaking with several people who use Merced Honda and the service department and sharing our tragic story we found some very shady things out about the Merced Honda team. One of our friends went to get his car and his keys were missing. They said they would investigate and would get back to him. Meanwhile, they gave him another key. Keys to his safe deposit box, gun safe, house keys etc. and after a few days he went and raised some hell at the dealership to no avail. As he was leaving a lady came in and said I found these keys in my car and they arent mine. The staff kind of chuckled and said the technician must have left the keys by accident. Another person told a story of how their car was obviously rumaged through and were told that they were mistaken. If you choose to use Merced Honda for service please beware and take everything out if you dont want it stolen and dont give them more than just the key for the vehicle you are having serviced there. Beware of the arrogant service manager and theiving staff! What goes around comes around and karma is a thing!

To have a good business you need a good team. The finance manager Sarn was an amazingly nice guy and the Sales Representative who helped out, Bryan, was great as well. Unfortunately when you have an owner who is worthless, your business is also worthless. Got a call a week later asking if I was still in the market for a car and told them yes but asked them why they would even call to ask me that question after that experience with the owner, who I later called in to ask what his name was and was referred to as Bob. unfortunately My family and I will take our business elsewhere.

I brought my Honda in last year for its 60,000 mile tune up. They even held my car over for one night. I had always brought my car in for an oil change and had good service. No where else did I take my car. Tires, brakes, you name it - they replaced them. My car was given a clean bill of health and I went on my way. A few months afterwards, I started having problems with stalling and shaking. I took it to a smaller mechanic only to watch him as he pulled out cracked spark plugs. My car was given the wrong brand of parts and suffered for it. I paid top dollar for top quality and received incompetency, instead. Im trying real hard not to believe whomever looked at my car at Merced Honda was either blind or stupid. Im also trying hard not to believe I was sabotaged so that I would bring my car back in and throw away more money. Dont bring your car here for anything other than an oil change. Unless, you enjoy having wrong parts put in your car, stalling at stop lights, and barely bringing your car up to highway speed in safe manner. And paying good money for it.When I was handed my keys, I was offered they would wash my car next time. I guess thats not going to happen any time soon!

Bryan Jones and Arturo Velasco are the best duo in car sales since Ryosuke and Kiesuke Takahashi, because never before have I wanted to buy a car more. I ended up buying a Civic and realized that I couldnt drift because I had a FWD and in addition to that I didnt have an handbrake. Now, I can slam and stance my car to the point that a rock could mess up my fitment and alignment.Honestly I probably will return to get a Honda fit and swap out the small turbo for a big turbo and wrap the exterior with some anime waifus! Oh and underglow.If youre looking for car you can have fun with Merced Honda will hook it up.

The sales men were great, especially Bryan. He was great and had excellent customer service. I didnt feel any pressure to purchase the car while he was showing the car I was interested in. He asked me questions that could possibly save me money such as if Im a student. The only complaint I had and the reason why I went to a different dealership was because of the managers unprofessionalism. The manager said that they were very busy and basically didnt have time for me.I would like to add on that Clawson Honda Dealership had much better service and gave a much better experience.

I partially blame myself for being too trusting and not being wary of shady individuals but, then, lets see how on-your-toes you are when youre stranded hundreds of miles from home on a roadtrip with a toddler and a pregnant wife.Long story made short: new car broke down near Yosemite, we got it towed to Merced Honda, and what was estimated to be an overnight fix turned into an over-the-weekend fix, turned into a several weeks fix. I dont blame Merced Honda for this, it was factory error that caused these problems and the car was under warranty so it didnt cost us anything. Honda even paid for a rental car, lodging, and fuel all the way back home AND they shipped the car back to us when it was done. THAT part was great.What wasnt great was when the car was returned and there were several things stolen from it. We werent able to bring everything back home in our rental. A few bags with miscellaneous kids stuff were taken as was a soft-shell cooler. Plus, some dirty laundry was strewn about--someone had clearly been rifling through our stuff and didnt even have the courtesy to cover up the crime.So, hard for me to rate this place. Up to a point they did great and I assume it was only one or two dirtbags in the garage that caused this mess so I almost hate to rag on the whole organization. But, you just cant have employees stealing stuff from customers.

I am very disappointed, Ive been doing the service on my cars here since 2009, and last week I took my fiances Civic for a airbag recall and an oil change. The check engine light came on the next day so she called and set an appointment for today, we took it in and they charged us 115 to check the vehicle and said it was the something unrelated to them doing the recall and oil change. Ok so we bring the car home and when we get home we realize they broke one of the air vents. Extremely dissatisfied. I dont think Ill come back.

I hand to order a part for my Acura fuel line. They took a while to find it online. Then I asked him just to call me when it came in. Ordered on a Thursday waited for them to call nothing. Called the following Monday the guy on the phone said oh yeah it’s here. I said thanks for the call he said my bad. I went down there then come to find out they under charged me and now it’s more money. Go to Modesto if you want someone who cares. With knowledge helps.

Worse service ever we bought a Honda last year October and couple month ago it didn’t want to turn on the battery was dead the battery does not work at all autozone told us and a mechanic who diagnosed it as old not good . We called Honda like always they don’t cover it warranty won’t do nothing because battery was charged . We obviously had to come here and charge it what do this people think every one can afford a damn tow truck . We got there they said they can’t do nothing nothings wrong . So we come home the car yesterday died on us we had to go buy a battery because Honda has no word Honda just wants you to buy cars and once you buy it your on your own . Do not go here !!! I always try to give people second chances, and I should of learned from the first one. How can you be in customer services when you do not provide good customer service. I wasnt told that Merced Honda would rent you a car if you felt unsafe due to recalls that needed to be fixed. My parts were on order for over a month, and when I called the 1800 number after talking to the dealership several times though out the month is when I was told about the car rental. Once I went in there to do this, it took them one day to get the parts to do the recall. How things get done when its them paying the money. I also didnt realize that cars can be given a diagnosis before being looked at. Yes, this was done before they even had the keys in their hands. I want to thank them for leaving me on hold for 15mins having to call back twice before I finally got to speak to someone! Once I went in after the phone call thinking it was going to be really busy, but instead there were 5 people standing around. I appreciate you wanting to sell me your over priced service for receiving bad customer service which made me take my business else where and get things done for the fraction of the cost and better customer service! I would give you half a star if I could, or no star at all! Ive only owned Hondas but it does make me think twice for my next car!

I left my car there for a repair and it was stolen off the lot. The service tech left the keys in the car. The general manager, Gary, didnt claim any responsibility for the negligence of the service tech, blamed the thief for stealing the car, said that their insurance wouldnt cover this kind of loss and then comments that if you think about it, its kind of a funny story. If I could give negative stars, I would!

My parents came to this place a few times over the last couple of weeks and never had a problem until last Friday at around 7pm, when Raquel... the only spanish speaking sales rep woman that was available at the time. My parents, in over 35 years of being in this country, had never encountered such a rude customer service rep. She kept complaining about how she wanted to be off already and kept making comments about how my parents probably couldnt afford a car payment there. I dont know if it was a racial thing, or if she was just having a bad day, but I hope nobody ever feels the way this lady made my family feel. It was rude and inappropriate and I am so upset that my parents, whom had been looking forward to purchasing a car for many weeks, had to experience this kind of mistreatment. it was incredibly unprofessional. anyone who wants to come here, please talk to Arturo instead. The staff doesnt get the facts straight and wont warranty their transmission I paid over 4 grand for, blaming me for having to put transmission fluid in my car to drive it there, when they knew it wouldnt go into reverse and was slipping in drive. They want to charge me $240 more for a flush. I didnt put Honda fluid in it. Although the fluid is made for Honda transmission. I guess just not if you take it to Honda. Does it stop being the right fluid? Im confused about that? The mechanic said he could smell the difference? Im still working on figuring how that works.
