Went to get my garden supplies and Jovonnie was so much help and great with being knowledgeable about the garden department and other departments of the store definitely a helpful and great person with a lot or respect for customers

Made a $2000 purchase of tile at this store, they said it would arrive in 2 weeks but the tile vendor cancelled the order and nobody contacted us about it until our delivery date arrived and were informed of the cancellation. Horrible experience and we will never shop with Home Depot again. Waste of time and money at this store take your business to Lowe’s where they know how to treat customers.

You can get most everything in one place. Of course you cant get food nor animal supplies BUT its so easy to POP in and get everything from cleaning supplies to outdoor needs . The prices are competitive with other places & cheaper than some . The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is clean and its pet friendly . They give treats to the pooches, so take them with you next time.

Came to Home Depot to go get me a Ryobi weed eater and jovonnie was so helpful from picking me a great weed eater and being wise about a lot of supplies and attachments that I was able to get with my ryobi weed eater definitely appreciated Jovonnie’s help and being a great worker to find me what I needed.

Loved it. Plenty of vegetable seeds to choose from. Just one drawback, had to go out in parking lot for shopping cart. But otherwise, I love going to home depot

The young man named Javier in appliances was great. He answered all our questions. Give himA raise or gift card to a steak dinner. We bought a washer and dryer.

Staff seems to not want to work with customers in finding items in the store. Lacks professionalism in knowledge of items sold in their store. Location used to be great but since the town is expanding, the store location is out of range for most.

Staff is always helpful to find exactly what I need. Not crowded at all.

When I think on fixing something or remodeling a space in the house the first place that comes to my mind is The Home Depot. Even when I think in future projects I start searching prices and availability here. Love it!

Love this place its my go-to when I ever need something for the house

Steven and Vincent went above and beyond. We had a pick up order for a patio set and I thought it would for sure fit in my SUV, but the box that the chairs were in was to big and we had came all the way from Modesto and it seemed like coming all the way back was the only option. But Steven and Vincent made it work. They took the chairs out of the box and got everything to fit perfectly and they were very careful not to scratch anything in the car. They are amazing and so thankful for their help. It is hard to come across customer service like that now a days. Thank you again Steven and Vincent.

Convenient and accessible right off freeway. Hours have for most part returned to normal. Always easy to find someone to help. Very courteous staff. Give and take,or better yet, back and forth prices on who is lower between them and Lowes.

Well they definitely have more than Lowes and I think the products are better. Many are the same. Definitely more expensive for everything. Accept the things that Lowes doesnt have Home Depot can be pretty cheap in their Garden Center

Living rurally and it was a 2 hour drive. Wasnt sure what to expect at first? Seemed understaffed but once you engage you get to experience excellent customer service!They went above and beyond to meet my needs!I will make the drive again! 👍

Never get asked if we need assistance. They have a great selection of products. Dont order on line because they use OnTrac and we have had problems with all but one delivery from them. Our last order 2 weeks ago has been lost!

This place is discusting they have a really bad pigeon problem 😕 with bird pop everywhere I did talked to managers but when I went back to buy more stuff it was still not cleaned and started to get an allergic reaction. To los banos now. It may be out of the way but better if I dont get sick 🤧

They have cleaned up the place quite a bit. I was in their a coup yo this ago and it was dirty and ghetto. Glad to see them turn it around. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I wanted but I’ll probably order it online later today. I am also glad they had some nice hard wood.

One of favorite place to shop. Love the customer service from all the employees,everyone is willing to help at a moments notice. There is also a young lady in the tool section of the store,she is so knowledgeable of every item in that department. Home depot i noticed the improvement all around the store great job.

The staff at Merced have improved. General Mgr is doing a good job of keeping them working to help on the floor. Garden area is much better organized and not like the set on Adams Family....dead plants. Keep up the good work!

The store itself is fine and offers good products, but the employees are consistently terrible at the Merced store. They rarely greet customers or offer assistance. I have friends who drive across town to HDs main competitor for this very reason.Today my husband and I were trying to select an item and having a difficult time. Anyone within earshot would have known we could use some help, but did the employee standing 2 feet away (at the same display, in fact) during all of this even bother to look up from his stocking task? Of course not. Then, to make the whole thing more odd, he started moving closer and closer to us as he worked, trying to reach products and we were clearly in his way. He became so uncomfortably close that we had to move aside, away from the product we were deliberating about. I made a comment about social distancing, and he remarked that no one really does that anyway. Seriously? Finally--and this is 5-10 minutes into this--we asked him a question about what we were trying to figure it out. He quickly answered the question, Ill give him that, but still no offer of assistance.Home Depot is going to have to do better on employee training. People notice.

I went there this morning around 12:30pm I was standing by customer service desk for about 15 minutes and no body asked me if I needed anything even though they had no customers to help, so I asked a lady if anyone could help me out and she just ignored me untill I was leaving then she asked me if I needed anything so I just turn around and asked her what was her name, she said it was Maria!! Totally disappointed !!!!

I called to ask about a return policy on a bag of fertilizer. Thankfully, this girl from the garden section who I think said her name was Macy, helped me my fertilizer. I’ve been having intense pains on the button of my left nut and she gave me great advice on how to clear it up and keep on keeping on. If the manager reads this please give her a raise or a promotion or something.

Was great except some cc spacers was missing to secure handle on the cultivator 15in legend would of went back but live 50 miles away

I found everything I was looking for, however I do have a complaint. I doing a rehab on a dresser/armor and matching set of nightstands I needed drawer pulls and knobs. I was both amazed and disappointed, as big as the store is and company they have an incredibly small selection of that type of hardware. Ive been in many small mom and pop type hardware stores that had 15 to 20 times the selection of home depot.

Found what we needed to get this house finished

My Granddaughter and I ordered a patio table at the Merced store for curb side pick up. We live in Modesto so it was a long drive. We have a suv however we did not realize the size of the box the table and chairs came in. The young men that brought the order out to us were extremely helpful. They managed to fit the box’s into the back of car taking care not to scratch anything in side the car. Steven and Vincent displayed true customer service. Vincent and Steven went above and beyond. Sonny in the paint department was AMAZING. I needed to get a color match to a color that I already had, but the closest one was very different from what I needed. Another employee told me that there was nothing she could do and that was it. I was extremely disappointed and about to leave when Sonny came and said let me take a look. HE LITERALLY ADJUSTED THE PAINT TO THE EXACT SHADE THAT WE NEEDED. I am so thankful. He is truly an employee who is there for more than just a paycheck.

This is for Home Depots online and local stores. They bait and switch, they have listing on Google for a much lower price, then as you are ordering in your shopping cart and about to pay, the system has some glitch, then you notice your product when from 100 dollars to 120 dollars and it glitches again and then the product is now 150 dollars and ready to charge your credit card. They are scammers, go to Amazon or Lowes, dont waste your time with this company.

Very friendly employeees. The greeter at the entrance by lumber was very helpful as was the gentleman in garden....we went to purchase a Rubbermaid shed. The 4 stars are for the employees, I wont give 5 stars because of the unsavory encampments by the parking lot/garden area. A person does not feel safe at this location, however, when in need....we were in need, so we kept our eyes open to our surroundings, tied our shed down, and off we went.

My sister and I went into the store with cash in hand ready to buy a new washer and dryer. helping people in the appliance section. Finally it was our return and we told the man we are looking for a washer and dryer and this is the model that were looking at. It didnt matter what we asked this man his answer was no like selling appliances was not what theyre and business for. Ive never went into a store before wanting to buy something and was told no so many times? they really need to up their customer service game in the appliance section.went to Lowes and was in and out with a brand new washer and dryer in 20 minutes. Get it together Merced home Depot seriously its ridiculous.

My experience at Home Depot was great it is a lot better than it used to be. A guy by the name of Wes that works their was awesome he knew exactly where to go on every knee that I needed in fact a lot of the time she helped me go there and get it. I wasnt going to buy a freezer but because of him I ended up buying one I really needed one anyway. Hes got a great smile and a good sense of humor and he really knows his stuff thank you Wes. Also the place is much cleaner and the staff is also very friendly thank you

We were able to drive to Merced get the job paid for over the phone and walk out with the materials to get the job done all in about 5 minutes.

The store overall is great, if you want to do any home improvement then this is where to go to. The aisles are property labeled making for a easy get in and out for whatever you may need.

They dont have enough knowledgeable staff to answer customer questions. You have to keep walking around to find someone to ask questions and when you do find someone then theyll call the person that works that department and usually takes another 20 to 30 minutes of waiting
