Love this place! Friendly, honest, always willing to help. Store is 15 minutes further for me than other stores but it is definitely worth the drive to know that I am going to get honest help, not someone just looking to sell more merchandise.
Amazing place, I go there first for all my music needs
I will never shop here again. There is an extreme lack of customer service, attention to detail, and followup. I found myself having to contact them about my instruments. They lost a part of one of my late fathers instruments and then accused me of bringing the instrument in without the part!!! Their lack of sensitivity baffles me. I love small businesses, and i thought that I would give my neighborhood music store a try. Now I will be forced to go to Guitar Center. I have never felt this upset about customer service.
I first came into wondersound with questions about a 7 string guitar and tube amplifiers. Even though I wasnt planning on buying one that day, they were very friendly and spent quite some time answering all of my questions and more. Since then I have purchased my 7 string guitar from them and was extremely happy with the instrument. This is a good local business, the owner and staff are very inviting, nice people.
Brought in a guitar to get a restring on a Friday and was told it would be done on Monday. The guy asked for my phone number and said he would call on Monday when it was done. On TUESDAY I realized that I never got a call so I called the store and was told he didnt do it on Monday and would do it today (Tuesday) as it only takes 30 min. I dont understand how something that takes them 30 minutes could not get completed right away. Anyways, on Wednesday at 5pm I still had not heard anything about it being completed. I called again and was told it was done on Tuesday. I dont understand how such a small store has such a lack for customer service, especially for something so quick and easy. Not planning on bringing our business back there. They did a decent job on the restring, but customer service and curtesy is 90% of what keeps a customer coming back. They surely lacked this.
Academy of Music is under new ownership. It is called Wondersound Instruments and Academy of Music now. Been a customer of the old store and never had any issues...everyone was always friendly and the prices are good. Cant wait to see how good the new owners will make everything...stop in...u wont b disappointed...
You guys have some incompetent people working here needed a pack of seven strings guy rang me up for a pack of 6 how is that hard there are much better guitar shops out there avoid this one
Never been
Jeff the owner is very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgable. I took my stratocaster there because the neck was bowed and I had stripped the nut on my truss rod. I cant tell you what an amazing job he did on my guitar. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have been to many shops before Wondersound. If you want it done right, Jeff is your guy. I will never go to a different music store!
Great store, very friendly staff and always had wonderful customer service!
Nice people. Good music lessons for kids.
Great place to fix your out of tune piano. They will also help you out with lessons.
Love this place! The viola lessons are fun
I really was about to sell my PRS SE custom, as a last resort I went here to see if they could fix my problems. Whatever they did to my PRS, it fixed it permanently. (what I have been trying to fix for the last 6 months)
Do they have vocal lessons
Driving a vehicle with your business on it and speeding and cutting off people on your way to Hobby Lobby is not professional. Hope you got your supplies in time.
Yes, Wondersound Music is really open, although Google lists it as Permanently Closed. The shop used to house another music store that went out of business. This is not that store/owner, its totally different.
