DO NOT GO THERE! This location makes me never want to use Uhaul again. The GM LaKesha Williams has to hate her job. It’s really sad how she treats people and a lot of these other reviews show a similar experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t go there.

Poor customer service. I was never greeted. The representative had her baby at work. The baby was writing on the glass door with crayons. I was charged for equipment I never received. Oh and she was wearing a head scarf and eating hot Cheetos while doing my paperwork. I literally wanted to leave but it was all short notice. Just a reminder customer service experience is so important if you give it don’t accept the job.

Your Review: The drivers side mirror was broken, electrical tape was holding it on.I was unable to adjust it so I was unable to really see out of it unless I leaned to the left, towards the window . Driving a 10 truck with no rear view & only the use of the passengers side side mirror is kinda challenging.This was my 1st time driving a vehicle this big, I was glad a had taken the insurance out on my rental. Glad I didnt need it!! Also when I got in the truck the 1st thing I noticed was the dash message regarding the tire pressure, I found out upon returning my rental that the tires shouldve been 80PSI, Well all but one was 73-77.The one that was different was 23, (right rear tire pressure). I informed the uhaul service professional and she pointed me in the direction of the air hose.I put 50 in it cuz I didnt know any better but the whole time I had the truck (1day) the tire leaked air continuously. $5 in air I spent, I requested to be reimbursed but because air machines dont print reciepts my request was denied.

Made my reservation at 10:21 am, I get to the store there was no reservation available for me. The associate name Deborah was trying to be as helpful as she could but all of the information from the spelling of my name, my address and email address was all entered incorrectly from whoever took the original reservation. I was late returning back to work and was also overcharged. I am looking for a call from the store manager at the return of the next business day. I would not recommend or desire to ever use uhaul services nowhere in the future. If I had an option to not give any stars, that would have suited me just fine. Overall experince was terrible!

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Was supposed to pick my truck up in Horn lake but they didnt stage it so I was sent to Shelby dr. Upon arriving there I had to wait hour and a half to even get helped. I was offered to compensation. Ive used uhaul several times but after this will seriously consider a different company.

A really pleasant, efficient and amazing experience. So many of the young people I encounter in Customer Service jobs are unpleasant, unprofessional, and not easy to deal with, Mel was everything that is great about Customer Service and more. I would drive out of my way just because I know that I will have the best experience at her location.

Not sure of her name but she was really rude and she did not give enough information. This is not my first time using a uhaul but this is my first time at this location and I must say it was the worst. I will go without if I ever have to go to the shelby location ever again.

The experience was stress free and fast . But the General Manager has the worse attitude . She never once smiled. We have enough going on not to be pleasant with each other. Be thankful you have a job cause it’s 30 million unemployed.

My experience was not the best, I was overcharge for the gas, I took a camera picture of my gas level at arrival, showed it to the manager Miss Lakesha Williams, right there, she disagree with me, brush me off, wrote down something else, charge me for the gas, I called the 1-800 go U haul to report twice no one picked up the phone. While I was there another man with his wife came in stating they were overcharge. There is something not right with this location. Please renters be ware, take a camera picture of your mileage and Gas before leaving and on returning.

The vehicles were dirty and had trash from prior renter still in the vehicle. They smelled like smoke and had cigarette packages and what appeared to be marijuana residue in the vehicle. The first truck had a check engine light on and the lady we returned the vehicle too had a bad attitude.

I was over charged for the gas, the manager lied and said that the gas wasnt full and I know it was, and she charged me for it. Whitehaven U-Haul, this is one of the reasons we cant get ahead.

I rented a uhaul yesterday with the GM Lakesha. I think she really hates her job because she made me feel as if I was bothering her. Ive never rented a uhaul before so I dont know the basics & also have an attention deficit disorder. Well lucky for me I just got some new meds cause Lakesha zoomed through all the instructions & if I hadnt ms. Lakeshas day probably wouldve gotten worse cause she wouldve had to probably explain it to me multiple times. Shes a GM so I would think she could def go find a job that she loves w. That under her belt.

Pick a different location. Very unprofessional!!! Very unprepared!!! Reserving online does NOT mean they will have it in inventory. From the impression I got, hookups are made for family & friends for borrowing equipment and not recorded in store inventory,

Very rude. Every time I used this location it’s been a problem mainly with customer service from the way they talk to u to hanging up in my face on the phone

This U-Haul ROCKS!!! The Manager is excellent and the storage is super clean. Staff here is top notch. They always have the truck or trailer that I need. Thanks U-Haul!!!

Ms. Sy and Ms. LaKesha (the GM) got Me ALL THE WAY RIGHT! After not being able to get the truck from a guaranteed dealers location, I came to uhaul on Shelby Dr. Ms. Sy & Ms. LaKesha worked together to make sure I was able to leave with a truck, tank on full and all the equipment I needed... AWESOME JOB LADIES!!! Thank you so much!!!

I have not been treated with such respect in all my life, Laakesha(GM) knew the store and all that it had to offer LaKesha(GM) and Lams(ASSOCIATE) both offered and took the boxes and supplies that I will be needing for my move, to my car. I have never experienced treatment like this the last time I was at this Uhaul the man sold me my boxes and watched me take them out myself, and Katina was very pleasant as well, again thank you for helping me in my time of need.

Took a while to be serviced at the drop off spot (about 5 minutes and I was the only person there). But, granted, it was about 15 minutes before close. Once greeted, the service was great!

The staff here is cool and funny and always have a truck for whoever comes
