Horrible experience, I was in the hospital and when get out I find out the Rental Truck had been filed as a stolen truck. Here i am sick, and in the Hospital, and when Im released I find out the Mendenhall Location in Memphis,TN. claimed the truck was stolen. I am so offended and shocked that this has happened, I returned the truck and left. I will never forget this experience with UHAUL and how sympathetic UHAUL is to the COVID-19 struggle.Thank You,Jacob Pogue

Was having a really bad day! My freezer went out and I had to buy another one and I happened to lose the keys for a minute. I was under so much pressure and Roshell was very kind to me and just helped me calm down and we looked for they keys together and praise God I found them. Never have any problems at the Winchester location and Roshell is the coolest! 💖

This location has terrible customer service... I wouldnt even give it one ⭐. I rented a 26 ft this morning, drove 1.2 to the house, left the truck parked, hopped into my vehicle to go and pick up my movers.. Which I was gone about an HR... Return back home, I get in the truck to crank. Freaking truck wont start..Now I run to the office because there is a 15min wait on the phone. While still on hold, I walk into theoffice no customer insight. Kierra, who rented the rental to me was nasty. Told me I was the one who drove off in the truck. Very unprofessional 👎. When renting a U-Haul they dont ask you to check under the hood, check the battery, nor anything under the hood before you drive off. They tell you to walk around the truck and check and approve the damages.. Boy, do I hate unprofessional...And these type of people surely dont need to be the front line representation of any company. Now I have to wait 80 minutes for roadside assistance....Im so disgusted

I have been renting trucks here for years. the last few years have been a steady decline. the last time I waited 2 hours for a reserved truck then they charged me a $50 cleaning fee for a truck I returned clean and on time.

Made a 9 AM appointment for hitch install. Arrived and was told I cant wait at the store. Asked how long it would take, the attendant informed me he didnt know when the installer would arrive to work. How can you have appointments but not know when the mechanic will arrive to work? I asked them to call me when he arrived. No call all day...I am glad I did not leave my truck there.

This location has terrible customer service. Employees acted like they hate both their job and customers. Not going to return here again.I normally rent from Jones Auto Service in Germantown and have received nothing but great service there. I had to use the Mendenhall location since Jones did not have the vehicle I needed in stock for a quick same day move.

The truck was busted up and a mess. dents everywhere, not to mention the hidden fees I wash charged when I returned the truck. $20.00 plus mileage my ***!

Absolutely appalled by the complete lack of customer service and competence from this location (6/18), the Mendonhall location (6/17), and customer service line. I reserved a truck and tow dolly to tow a car from Memphis to Boston. We were given a broken tow dolly (axel snapped) which was towed from my home in Memphis same evening (6/18)--after being on the phone with roadside assistance for hours. I was told to go to the Union location the following morning (6/18) to pick up a functional dolly. Upon arrival to this location, the employees had no record of this and their system was down. I had to wait an additional hour and a half for them to find a dolly--only to find out that this dollys lights did not work and it was therefore NOT useable. In the end, after having my move delayed 24 hrs due to being offered 2 broken/unsafe tow dollys, we had to drive the car (adding to gas costs, tolls costs, etc). On the back end of the trip, the back door to the truck was broken (not a surprise as there were ~110,000 miles on this POS truck to start. Instead of simply refunding the cost of the tow dolly as I was originally told (on 6/20)--SINCE WE DIDNT HAVE ONE & it delayed our time sensitive move by 24 hrs--I just got a call today (6/25) saying they werent going to submit a refund. Further, they documented it as us receiving the tow dolly when it never left their lot. This has been an absolute nightmare.I have spent over 7 hrs over the course of the move with their customer service/roadside assistance and am absolutely appalled. Never again.

Terrible staffing level made for third world-esque wait times both checking in and out. Was given a trailer advertised as 4x7, but it was not actually that wide, which I asked about, but was assured it was. Being under inflexible time constraints now because of my wait in line, I took it anyway. Once at the location where I picked up the palletized load, it didn’t fit. Just like I thought. So then I had to get help unloading the pallet and reloading it into the trailer. That cost me 20 bucks extra.When I returned the trailer, I related the story to the agent there and got a “sorry” and a shrug. I sent and email to the customer support people, so I’ll see what kind of response that produces

I was waiting for my cousin to drop off his Uhaul truck. Mackenzie the manager at the time was very rude and unprofessional. The first time he asked me to move my vehicle. He started I was parked in the wrong parking spot. I moved where he asked me to move to. Third minutes later he came back and asked who was I waiting for? I answered with a first and last name. He stated I dont believe you then asked me to move to another parking spot! How unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful.

I enjoyed the service I received from Teshell Gales. She was very sweet and eager to help. Thanks for the great customer service!! 😃 She is the reason I felt comfortable to rent again.

I went to pick up my uhaul but they didnt have the size they said that they did or the size below it so I had to get a 10 uhaul which didnt fit all of my belongings. Also, the lady at the front desk didnt know how to work the computer and it took 30 minutes for them to find a uhaul, get organized, and allow me to sign my contract and leave. They also left the uhaul on E so I had to immediately get gas.

The customer service agent had a bad attitude and was not courteous at all. He kept ignoring my questions and didnt tell me anything pertinent about my rental he just gave me a bunch of papers. Collierville has a better office environment.

I was thoroughly satisfied. The young lady at the counter displayed a very pleasing customer service attitude and the young man who pulled the truck around and answered my question responded with a smile and you welcome response. I would recommend this location because of those two.

The short heavyset lady is so rude, she definitely need some etiquette on customer service. They charged me $20 convenience fee, when the website for after hours was down. They young guy Denzel lied about the cents per mile, all of a sudden the prices changed overnight, he took the $86.49 put of my account & then he called me. What a waste of time!!

The workers know what their doing. And dont mind helping you... And the place is clean as well. People like Coming into a clean place of business. And with a nice friendly workers greeting them.🙂

Reservations where at another location. Uhual changed at the last minute. Which added additional mileage cost to me because I had to go 20 miles out of my way to pickup/drop off.

Awesome service and fun environment. They joked around with us and made us feel at home. We rented a trailer quick and easy. The worker helped us back up and he hooked it up for us.

Ted was very nice and knowledgeable about the product in store and the rental trucks. He handled everything fast and efficiently. The truck was spacious and the air was ice cold. Thanks U-haul for helping make our tedious move alot easier!

The one star is only because the van was halfway reliable. This store is awful they are rude and lie as if no trucks are available so they don’t have to do there job. They make you go online.

Truck condition was pathetic. Gas filling point was malfunctioning - was not able to fill the gas continuously. Bad service. Truck was wobbling if you go beyond 40 mile/hr speed.Fuel check billing was incorrect when i got the final bill.

The cashier went above and beyond to accommodate me. I greatly appreciate her customer service and wish her well.

Denzel Coffee at the Mendenhall location went above and beyond as a Uhaul Representative. I recommend this location. They are a very welcoming and friendly attentive staff!

Facility and location is NOT that great, but people working inside were really GOOD and Friendly. 10/10 for customer service and warmth in the store and 4/10 for location and how the location looks from outside and inside.

The promotion of 49.99 is a scam, I paid that amount of money and even delivered the truck an hour earlier than agreed and they charged me an additional $ 34 I feel scammed that collection was not stipulated that promotion is false

Drove 15 minutes over to get a propane refill was told no one there could do it. Waste of time.

I put my order in online, I got an email confirmation and then they switched my location.This is because the place I chose would be closed on Sunday, but online it said I could still use the location. I would just have to use the app when arriving. I got a call shortly after putting in my order and they left a voicemail to call them back. They had switched my location and the lady on the phone acted like it was what I had originally chose. It was an additional 25 miles out of my way, which would cost more in tome and mileage, therefore more money. I asked her to change it and she said she couldnt, so I asked her to cancel it and she hung up on me. I checked online and it was still active. I dont recommend uhaul and never will attempt to deal with them again. Dont do it unless you like surprises.

Ive never been disappointed with U-hail. I always get what I ask for, always what i expect.

I didnt get the equipment I requested, the staff in the morning when I picked up my equipment was slow, unfriendly, and answering their personal phone while I was at the counter. I would reccomend a different location if you need uhaul there are plenty in Memphis.

I will rent from them every time. They may not have made me happy the last time I was there. But overall theyre very good.

3 1/2 Hours to install a hitch. We requested for the trailer to be put on the car (which it wasnt). But thats not the big deal. The biggest deal is that they didnt check the tire pressure before hand and didnt put the rubber safety garment on the chains so they wouldnt fall off. The ride of the trailer was rough because of this, and once during my trip the chain fell off. I realized this once I saw sparks on the ground and pulled over to examine the problem. I dropped my trailer off at a corporate location and they provided me with the info about the safety piece and the tire pressure after he checked in the trailer and cleaned it
