Nice selection of beers here as well. Even had several stouts that are hard to come by.Two employees were especially friendly and made conversation as well as recommended a good tequila. Ill be back for sure.

Gaslight is the best liquor store in Memphis. They have the largest selection with the friendliest staff, who are always available to help you search or carry your purchase to your car. They also prominently support local breweries and distilleries. I felt totally safe going in the time of Corona, and overall highly recommend this store.

Passing through from Chicago, and this is the only place within a 30 min drive that sold sour craft beers!

Grant will always come out to talk to you. He will make suggestions and offer insight that you may not get in any other liquor store. He always makes time for his customers and is super friendly. Their store is now double the size and looks amazing. You have to give it a visit if you haven’t been there in a while.

This is not one of the big name liquor stores. This is more of a neighborhood place, where the employees remember you from one visit to the next, and take the time to learn about your tastes. They tend to be knowledgeable about the merchandise and are as helpful as you need them to be. The inventory is well curated, especially given the size of the place, and come eggnog season, this is the store to find the good stuff.

Gaslight has changed a lot over the years. The owners and staff has changed but it continues to have good customer service with a good selection of liquors and wines at a fair price. I do wish their beer selection was greater but you cant have it all. The staff does not appear to be super knowledgeable about all of their products but is always open to giving their opinion on what they have tried and what they suggest. Overall, if youre in the neighborhood, I have to recommend them over the other stores nearby.
