About a year ago, I needed to match some bolts and nuts for an important project- keeping the roof rack on in a rental car that my wife, daughter, and mom would be traveling in for 2 weeks. It was crucial that they didnt fail.Normally going to a big box hardware store youre on your own. Good luck find help. At this Ace Hardware a young man greeted me then proceeded to spend a good 30 minutes with me, grabbing various bolts and washer, running out the car to see if they were correct, then making suggestions on how to even better secure it.The service I got with them was if I were buying hundreds of dollars of stuff. Once we finally found the right combination, he bagged up the nuts/bolts and the whole total was less than $3. I was floored.Since then I have ONLY gone to this Ace Hardware for any home care needs. They earned a lifelong customer that day.

Our pipes busted. My roommate and I were so desperate and sad. Im grateful we found this store. The associates were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at eased by helping us put the pipes together. Also, they have all the pipes, pieces and materials you need. I recommend them over any hardware store. Please go here!!! With the new ownership, this Ace Hardware went from good TO OUTSTANDING! Its always my first stop for everything. I never even consider one of the big box stores unless Ive check here first. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and unlike the big box stores, not at all hard to find!

You have to achieve a certain level of petty to lay claim to 8-10 parking spots in front of the busy bowling center next door and then let your Ace Hardware employees park directly in front of the same bowling center for 8 hours at a time

Since the change in team member and management at the store this last two year the store is not worth going to. The shelve are not stocked and lot useless items now in the store. The store use to be a 5 star business but now its a 1star no thanks to the Owner who is an Idiot. This store has lost my business for good. To the Owner pay your employee better... Better pay get you better employees and customers

They have the best nuts & bolts section in the city that Ive come across, including brass, stainless steel and metric sizes. They even have cork or rubber stoppers for that old Thermos bottle you lost the stopper from! Everything is well stocked & in its proper drawer (unlike the mega-corporation box stores, if you know what I mean). But admittedly, Im biased because I enjoy the feel here of the bygone era neighborhood hardware store; much like Stewart Bros. on Madison from years past.

So after visiting Home Depot and Lowes with a paint chip that they couldnt match I turned to Ace Hardware on Quince. At this point I was panicking because I had basically ruined various parts of my wall trying out their samples. Mr. Rodney who runs the paint department was a Godsend. He matched my paint perfectly, and saved the day. Thank you so much!!!!

I drove to this location for Benjamin Moore paint to finish a project on a Sunday. The paint guy was there, but not on the clock. I was told to come back tomorrow something. Great service. Thats the last time I go to this location.

I usually love Ace hardware but this one needs to teach more employees how to mix paint. If the one guy isnt working theres a bunch of really nice staff asking if you need help but cant really help because they havent been trained to mix paint. Sad!

Services has gotten better under new management. Untill they changed the management I refused to go to ace becuase of just how unfriendly the staff was.

While true that Ace Hardware doesnt offer everything a big-box store does, their friendly staff makes up for it. Even though not big-box, they do have a good selection of what you need.

Ace is the place of the Hardful Helpman Wear. I poked my head in here today looking for a specific hanger that fit over a 2x4. They didnt have it. What they had was an ongoing rearrangement of the store. thankfully, this store is small enough that I wont have too much trouble figuring out where everything went to. I have painted a couple of times with the Kensington and Clark paint that they sell. I felt like it did a very good job and I was happy with it. I noticed that the price of a bare 18-volt Milwaukee hackzall was the exact same price as what could be gotten at The Orange box store. another great feature of this particular Ace hardware is that it is in the same parking lot as Three Little pigs BBQ.

Terrible customer service. They advertise free items with purchase, then dont have the free items in stock. Say they will call when free items come in. I have called twice to check status and just given the run around. In other words, they cant provide an answer. IF I ever get this resolved, I will not go back.Not living up to: ace is the place for the helpful hardware man

Very frustrating in store customer service. Ive visited this location frequently since it opened. My visit today may be my last. I spent 20 minutes looking for a specific product that I couldnt find. I asked the key maker for assistance and he was very rude and treated me with disrespect. I like to support my neighborhood businesses but dont like to be treated as an inconvenience to the employees when I need assistance. Will probably decide to take my business to Lowes or Home Depot from now on.

Employees kept following me around to the point that it was uncomfortable. I understand asking once or twice if someobs needs help, but if I repeatedly tell you no and obviously discussing things with the person im with, back off. Employees insisted the weekly add put out by the store didnt contain the real prices to the point that I ended up just having them take the items off and not getting 1/2 of what I had come for since they wouldnt honor their advertised prices. They repeatedly said well sometimes they put out ads that we dont know about! Well thats awesome, but im showing it to you now. We had two separate transactions, one for myself and one for the person I was with. After ringing up my stuff the cashier rang up the person I was with then started ringing up some of my items again. I told her she had already rung it up. She insists she didnt until I got out my recipre, at which point she flung the receipt back at me and tossed down the items. Also, I was never asked for or given the chance to input my ace rewards card. All in all, a horrible store and terrible customer service. A shame.

Staff turnover has been high for the past year, so a number of employees are not as helpful as Ace Hardwares advertising suggests. Tremendously convenient 4 this part of town.

Very bad service I was rushed by an employee helping me and later realizing a size difference. I went back to get the right size they turned the lights out on me while i was sorting.

Me and my cousin went there to get keys made, we went up front to purchase them, but you not, the key price was written on the bag, I told him the purchase on the keys, he looked at me and said I need the key, I said, I have to face God, and thats one thing I want to is lie, I fear God.
