The coffee shop looks gorgeous. It’s a renovated old house, looks like a quaint, upscale, hip, and cool place. I’m in love with the building. I would only go back because of the venue and the charm. It was Sunday morning when I visited. The place was fully packed. People were chilling or working in the own laptop. The baristas were not that good. They were good behaved but very slow. I waited unusually long time to get my cup of iced mocha. The coffee was terrible! I haven’t had such a bad coffee in recent time. Even at one point I was wondering if any of the ingredient went bad or not! However, I didn’t tell them anything, but could not finish it up. I took a pastry snack ( looks like an eclair, roundish in shape). It’s also nothing impressive. Overall the eating/ drinking experience is very bad. But the environment and the look of the cafe is outstanding. Maybe, just because of this I would like to go back again.

Super quaint coffee shop on north Main Street. Best one I’ve been to in Memphis. Enjoyed the 8 oz oat milk latte. Lots of open space and seating. Can easily social distance. Also had a seasonal selection of lattes and other drinks. Will definitely be back. Friendly staff.

Cute coffee shop, nice staff. But really expensive for not so great coffee. Disappointed because I asked for a latte with honey on the side to which the response was yes. However the honey was added to the latte itself by the person who told me he would put it on the side. Now my coffee smells and tastes like pure honey. Way too sweet, not how I like it which is why I confirmed for it to be on the side. Pretty irritating for a 6$ coffee.

Best banana bread I’ve ever had! I got the pecan mocha latte and it was also very good. The shop was full of people on our visit. A lot of shared table spaces. Staff was nice. It was around $8.50 for 2 items.

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Memphis. I was highly impressed with each area of service and food. The young man, Josiah, who took our order was friendly, helpful, and patient. The mocha lattes we ordered were strong, and not overly sweet. My favorite part was the pastries. We ordered the citrus danish and the blueberry muffin loaf/scone. They were heavenly. They were fresh and each flavor was so well balanced. We brought our 11 month old and she fit in fine there because it was a little loud. Every team member I encountered was kind and helpful. The courtyard was lovely. This place checks off all the boxes for me and I’m so glad it’s here in Memphis.

The latte was perfectly executed. Any place that has Onyx on drip and used for espresso is setting an extremely high standard in my opinion. So having both powerhouses of Onyx AND Methodical coffee? I had very high expectations, and my expectations were met. The latte was full-bodied, unique and expertly crafted. The baristas weighed the drink from beginning to end and really knew their stuff. The Pink Lady drip coffee from Methodical was the best drip coffee we’ve gotten at a shop. The interior space is beautiful and inviting. They were in the process of getting new merch into the storefront, so there was no merchandise to purchase, sadly. But the coffee was well done and the staff was friendly.

Very nice coffee shop with nice signature drinks. The decor and ambiance are really good. Dont forget to check out their outdoor seating (behind with open roof but surrounded by walls...) The service is very nice and the coffee tastes good.

My coffee was great and the staff was friendly. Now that Im vaccinated it was great to sit down and enjoy a coffee shop atmosphere again. I was slightly bummed that theyre only serving out of to-go cups right now, but thats understandable. Im sure theyll get back to regular cups at some point. Ill definitely come back here next time Im in the area.

Great place to meet friends, enjoy coffee and book, or get work/homework done for longer hours. As a free-lance photographer, this space has been one of my favorites in Memphis. With ample plugs available at majority of tables, I get to sit and process images while getting caffeinating with wonderful signature drinks. The seating is very comfortable! The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and clearly enjoy their jobs. There is feeling of community through the space, and I can say for sure the stay a while tag line is reflected in this cozy and hospitable shop.

Wow! We loved the space, the coffee, and the FOOD. The breakfast bagel sandwiches were some of the best we’ve ever had, and the americano was so smooth. The staff was really wonderful as well. Definitely sit on the back patio and stay a while!

I just walked inside this place, my first visit, and got absolutely no kind of welcoming from the two up front. So Im standing there and no one asked me if they could help me or anything. I decided to ask questions myself and the guy at the register acted as though I didnt matter. So I asked him do I sit myself and all I got was a yeah. I go and sit down and wait for a brief second and finally got up and left because I didnt know if someone was going to serve me or if I should have ordered at the register. Better customer service people please. They really deserve 0 stars.

The space is awesome; really great for downtown Memphis! Very friendly staff.Ordered the nut butter toast thinking the ingredients were options, but it’s all included, so it’s more like a dessert. Next time I’ll ask for just the nut butter.The banana bread with frosting was A+++++!!!! Super soft, I’d go for bites rather than breaking it apart by hand as it can crumble easily. Just dive in.Ayyyyy. Coffee Soda super unique.The americano was really tiny, as in almost needed to order another coffee to be satisfied. Not sure why.Drip coffee was def the way to go.Saw someone with oatmeal or cereal of some sort and it looked big and bossy, want to try!

My wife and I stopped overnight in Memphis and stopped by for some breakfast and coffee on our way out. We got the Saigon Latte and SEC breakfast sandwiches and both were delicious! Very hearty and well made. The atmosphere was pleasant and I could see myself spending some time there. Definitely would recommend.

This place may be the coolest coffee shop in Memphis, I love to visit when Im in town! They have a giant patio as well as good indoor space. The special coffee sodas and lattes are always excellent.

Firstly, the owners are a great couple that care for and give back to the community. Secondly, the food and pastries are top notch and not just your ordinary bland muffin or scone. Thirdly, the coffee menu and drink options are fit for the specialty coffee crowd that applauds Comeback; however, there is an ease to their approach and many menu options for the coffee novice and/or the large chain customer. They also offer great seasonal options that are thoughtful and innovative, instead of the same lazy options. The atmosphere and the options makes this shop a Memphis-Must.

Excellent cortado, best drip coffee Ive ever had, and the pastry was amazing. I almost gave them 4 stars because they dont offer a cappuccino (never heard of that) and the counter worker said to get a latte... Its basically the same.. Definitely not true...the kicker was my cortado was served in a cappuccino size cup, lol. However they made up for that confusion with high quality coffee. Also, killer Slayer espresso machine. Great shop!

Visiting from out of town and went here with a friend. Coffee is the freshest I have had outside personally roasting it myself, breakfast sandwich I tried is the best I can remember having, and their handling of COVID-19 safeguards made me feel safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was well lit and had a great aesthetic. The menu had vegan options and was very healthy. All the food seemed unique and sounded decadent.I would highly recommend this to anyone! Wish I lived here so I could come here more often!

Was on a overnight for work in Memphis in downtown hotel I saw good reviews to get coffee at comeback coffee.i trusted the reviews and ordered a coffee and a scon .I only took cash with me . Left my credit card in room without thinking anything of it. When paying with cash the attendant told me they dont accept cash because of covid19. I travel for work in multiple states. I never experienced that. They asked me to use Google pay . I never used it so i didnt know how to do that . People in line where very upset and irritated about me for taking longer.So the lady behind me the line told me she would pay for my purchase and we decided to gave her the cash in exchange. Everyone in line was speechless. I thanked her. But felt so humiliated . What if you dont have a credit card for whatever reason. I felt descriminated since and I believe I was the only latino decent in line . I went to a major coffee chain afterward for another coffe . I payed payed cash . TJust a little confused. I suggest my brown friends to reconsider

Man Im a HUGE fan of this place, just make sure you get there in time to find seating. If seating is full inside, there is more in the back in the courtyard. If youre looking for a place with good coffee and a nice place to zone into your work, this is the place.

Great food, great place, great people. I instantly felt comfortable walking in here; it has a very warm and tidy atomosphere! I had a wonderful latte and a fantastic grapefruit and meringue tart (very bright and creamy, really something to remember). I will most certainly be coming back!

Love the clean and welcoming atmosphere! It’s the best when coffee shops have good food so if you’re studying or working, you can really camp out! The coffee soda was super good, I’d prefer if it had more a vanilla feel to it. It’s just a bit too orangey to me. It definitely has a fun orange zest to it you can’t miss!

Dont even get me started on how amazing the owners, Amy + Hayes are....:) The team at Comeback are brightest people. The food is amazing. The espresso is smooth and perfectly balanced. Their saying Stay a while, they truly mean it. You wont regret coming here... you will want to come back! Ha. No pun intended.

My experience was okay, but my expectation of a coffee shop is to prioritize gathering versus co-working. The coffee itself is okay, the building and facilities are nice, but it caters to those looking for free WiFi and a place to work on a laptop. If youre looking for a place to have coffee and good conversation with friends, look elsewhere.

Great coffee! I had an Americano that was very flavorful. I found this place on a list of the 100 top coffee shops in the country. It will be a new favorite stop when I pass through Memphis.

Good coffee but COVID protocol was hit or miss and it took way, way too long to make two americanos considering that multiple staff were just standing around.

What a lovely place! Come back and Stay a while are this coffee shops mottos, and they make it easy. Top notch coffee, MAGNIFICENT food, and a calm, beautiful atmosphere make it easy to come back and stay a while.

Blueberry scone was out of this world and the saving grace for this new spot. Their take on cold brew was a bit lacking in flavor and complexity. Also, a giant peeve for us when on the menu on the counter states lunch starting at 10:30 but on the board it said at 11 so there was a bit of frustration having a hungry toddler and not being able to get a PB&J at 10:30. Will be back to try again though based on that super yummy scone.

My first time here and the environment is spacious and beautiful. Coffee tastes good. However, it is very cold. Not the only person saying this around me. I go to ask the Barista to make it a little warmer and he says he doesnt have permission. I asked to see a manager and he says one is not on site.

This place seems like one of those unapproachable trendy places, but truly the staff was super chill, and the coffee is excellent. they had a great playlist going when we went, and it was overall a super inviting atmosphere.
