Pho was our saleswoman. She knows her Toyota’s we were well informed of the vehicle we wanted. The Highlander we purchased would take some time but that wasn’t a problem and to our surprise and hers it came in a few weeks early. She informed us of the progress of our vehicle and kept lines of communication open. I can’t even begin to tell you how great our experience was with April Haynie and, at closing, with Buddy. We had shopped online for several months but it was so impersonal, not to mention unhelpful. The worst experience. I took my vehicle in at 7:20am with an appointment. Told the the man it needed a brake change and told him I had to be at work at 6:30pm. He said no problem we close at 6. At 5pm we called and said we where on our way and the vehicle had not been done yet. But they knew the brakes where bad. I told the service manager that I had to be at work and the car had been there for 10 hours. He said it will be done. We got there and paid and they said any minute. They held the car until 6:15 and only brought it out because I started taking a video of what they where doing. I almost lost my job. Stay away from this place! So I decided to continue this review after my sons mother told me what they charged to change the brake pads and oil. I was not present when she paid but the service department charged $600 to change the oil and brake pads. This is robbery! Do not got to this dealership!

April was my car saleswoman. I’ve never bought a car from a woman before but I’m so glad I did! She probably knew more about the cars she’s selling than the guys do! I never thought I would ever qualify for a new car but April surprised me when I found one that I liked that was new & that I had gotten approved for the new vehicle. I can’t say enough positive things. I am a first-time Toyota owner and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at Principle Toyota. I purchased a 2021 RAV4 Limited from Principle Toyota and am very pleased with the transaction. April Haynie was my Sales Associate, although most my dealing back and forth was with Jeff Larson, the Sales Manager. At this time, when it comes to desirable, top end models such asa the RAV4 Limited, the price is the price. We haggled a bit on the value of my trade, a 2019 RAV4 Limited, but in the end I ended up getting more for my trade than I paid for it in October of 2019. Finally, in the Finance department I worked with Peter Butler and that went very smoothly. I understand part of his job is selling the extra warranty products which I politely declined and he took in stride. He was friendly and easy to talk to. I already had my financing in place through my credit union as well, so in spite of not making extra dollars in the finance department (dealerships typically make more profit on a new vehicle in this department than they do on the sale of the vehicle), he stayed friendly and professional. I am glad I made the trip from Jackson, Tennessee to Memphis to make this deal. I give Principle Toyota my strongest endorsement and would recommend them to family and friends.

Very appealing looking dealership in a central location highway I did not have a lot of inventory when I was there vehicle however the salesman went out of his way to track one down for me which I appreciate it the only negative caveat I have is that the manager and not even speak to me or even say hello as I was there several times they were all about trying to sell the upgrades and theAdded warranties but that is par for the course I did not buy for these but some people might Toyotas reputation speaks for itself overall a good experience other than the manager and finance guy try to upsell me

Fast forward to 2021 I’m again vehicle shopping, only this time for my 17 year old sons first vehicle and was delighted to see April still at Principle Toyota. After several weeks of shopping and dealing with other dealerships, it was April that came thru for my family. April is not a pushy salesperson. She listens to your needs and wants and will only show you vehicles in line with that. Not once did she try to up sale me or push me out of my comfort zone. So you pay for service program -if you get a flat tire to have it fixed at no costs through Toyota. I have a flat tire and Toyota is telling me they can’t help till over a week away!!! Poor service and poor customer care!! I wound not buy my next car here that is for sure!! And the people there are so rude most of time- all around this Toyota dealership sucks

After this unfortunate incident occurred (read below), the Service Director did take the time to call and apologize for the service advisors lack of customer service this morning. I applaud the dealership for such a quick response to make things right. I probably will give the dealership another try.I pulled into Principle Toyotas service lane this morning to have the air pressure in tires checked. The service advisor asked if I had an appointment and I said No as I didnt think air in tires required an appointment. He then proceeded to say that it would be a 2-hour wait as the techs are working on vehicles that have been there for 2 weeks. I dont know if my car was too old for the service advisor to facilitate my air pressure request or just didnt care. Either way, my return to Principle Toyota will not be any time soon although I have been a customer since owning my 2002 Camry.

I went to principal Toyota with the hope that they would be honest, I traded my truck in and purchased another, we had an agreement for a certain dollar amount but when it came down to it they added almost $300 more to the balanceThey sold me a truck for $45,000.00 that had over 100,000 miles on it and only gave me just over $9000.00 for my trade even though my equity was upwards of $15,000.00I asked them how much they would buy it back for and they said we will give you $35,000.00 which is what I owe, I lost all of my equityI know companies are in business to make money but I would also think they would want repeat businessI won’t go there againI have to admit that I should have done my homeworkI went on line the next day and found the same truck with 50,000 less miles for $38,000.00 from Carmax and carvana both companies had that same vehicle with less mileage at a much better price
