Salesperson was nice I wasnt happy with finance seemed really fast I was told others where waiting take it or lose it I was told car would cost 16588.00 that was the listed price on car gurus I paid 17148.00 with dealer fees plus sales taxes bringing total to 18003.00 salesperson stated car would be 16588.00 plus sales taxes of 1415.00 total 18003.00 I didnt agree to paying 499.00 in dealer fees on front end only car plus sales taxes ?I was told it was only sales taxes so is what it is I wanted car and was in a bind I also asked for car fax didnt receive salesperson stated car had a bump on front end I found car fax in glovebox once I got home shows car has been in accident Im not happy with this nice facility just didnt like the process I also explained to them I had paid 9000.00 off in debt and they ran my credit at old numbers and debt still showing credit score went up 91 points day after sale they didnt seem to want to work with me stated others are waiting in high sevens now was high sixes which cost me more in interest so again seem like good place just rushed sale I believe

It strikes me as alarming that the dealership only responds to positive feedback. Anyone in customer service we tell you that it’s always good the address the negative feedback as well with an apology or something. It concerns me that the negative is ignored as if the customer is not worthy of a response. I have been considering buying a Range Rover for the last month, looking at Bluff City website because my financing is already approved. But reading and seeing how they have handle customer’s negative comments by just ignoring them, has made me reevaluate my car buying with them. Bluff City, you make want to hire a customer relations expert to enhance the customer experience and increase your public ratings. I know because I’m a HR Director is a Federal Agency. I specialize in the customer experience.

This was the absolute best experience buying, I have ever had. The staff is friendly and professional. They had everything prepared and I was in and out in just a bit over a hour. The pricing was very reasonable and the best I could find. I drove 2 hours to trade with them and I will do business with them in the future. My salesperson was very professional, and negotiated to the best of her ability the automobile and the monthly payments that I wanted. Im satisfied with my purchase, but very disappointed with how my license fee was handled. I specifically stated(twice) that I live in Tipton County, not Shelby County. Now Im faced with the fact that Shelby County has a back log and Bluff City doesnt know when my tags will be in. This delay could have been avoided if my paperwork had been sent to Tipton County as informed.

Quality customer service at this location is nonexistent. All the reviews about the service department are true. We walk in, no one greets us or asks if we need assistance, we are always inconvenienced as they keep the truck for days up to a week at times and always claim to be booked on loaner vehicles. The finance “manager” Dana is rude and unable to answer any questions. The salesmen act like they don’t want or don’t care to sell the vehicles. Not that it’s much on the lot to choose from anyway but they are also not knowledgeable or creative with trying to assist you with finding a vehicle that meets your needs. They claim to not be transferring vehicles from other locations right now as well due to covid. All around an inconvenience and just some of the many reasons I’ll be switching to a new car brand until I can get away from this memphis location.

This is by far the worse Land Rover Dealership, I have been speaking with Alan since Wednesday and before Alan I spoke spoke with Jeff about a Pre owned vehicle they have on the lot, while I had asked multiple times if i could leave a deposit I was told I could not leave a deposit, i asked Alan to provide a finalized document with all the number break down, I was told the finance lady had a Co-vid shot and she’s not in the office, i looked over their site yesterday the vehicle is no longer there, I called Alan this morning I was told someone had left a deposit yesterday, while I was told I couldn’t leave a deposit, I then requested to speak with the Sales Manager-Ricky Sulcer, since I m out of state I want it to get the car inspected and I had an appointment set up for a Pre purchase inspection on Coming Monday. Sales Manager Ricky Sulcer -as i spoke with him about this situation on the phone and while i m explaining this guy says I have issues not ones but twice really? excellent credit good down Or I can buy it cash, I left a voice mail for the GM to give me a call. I m starting to feel this is more of an issue of preference,I have records of written e mails and text massages, if they don’t resolve this issue this won’t be the end of it I will further take this with Land Rover.

Land Rover Bluff City is a poor excuse for a luxury car dealership. I imagine shade tree mechanics provide better customer courtesy than the service department here. When you walk in, no one greets you. All of the service advisors are piled into one office talking about whatever men with no work ethic talk about. You pretty much have to enter whichever tiny little office everyone is in and yell over their conversation to beg for help. My truck has been operating horribly since I came in for an oil change. When I get out of this vehicle I will never purchase another Range Rover again thanks to what is well known as the worst luxury car dealership in the South.

Loved my experience and would happily buy there again if they have what I need! Also, peeked in the shop and found it was extremely clean and well organized. I called their parts department with money to spend and was given the run around. Back and fourth for an hour to set up account just so I could get a price on the parts I needed for my client and then told that I would receive a call back because the lady who sets up the account was not available. I called their local competitor and ordered my parts in 5 minutes. I hope ownership reads this and finds out Phillipe cost him a large sale.

My service tech is Chad Henze and from day o e he has always gone the extra mile to make sure my service is done correctly the first time. I had my car towed to 80 miles from Jackson, TN to BC in Memphis by AAA to be repaired. Upon arrival and inspection the maintenance person informed me my alternator was bad and needed replacing. The cost was a little over $1800 and I had a vacuum leak that would cost an additional $1000. I checked around and found a company the was an expert on Jaguars locally an only charged a little over $700 parts and labor. I immediately contact BC and advised them not to repair my car and would have it picked up shortly. AAA graciously agreed to tow my car 80 miles back to Jackson,TN for free. After the local company (Christian Brothers Automotive) inspected my car, they advise me to allow them to charge the battery to get a more accurate reading of the alternator before they change it. I agreed. To my surprise they informed me that my battery was bad and the alternator did not need changing. I called Auto Zone and they informed me that my battery was purchased within the last 3 years and they would replace it for free and drop it off at Christian Brothers Automotive for me. After installing the new replacement battery Christain Brothers Automotive rechecked all of my electrical components of my car and found everything working properly. I now have my car and I only paid $274 which included an oil change. If I would have authorized BC to replace my alternator I would have had to replace my batter costing me over $2000. I am requesting and demanding reimbursement of misdiagnosed fee of $197 immediately.

1. They never answer the phone.2. When I was looking to get an XE, I came to experience a test drive. The person who was taking me was impatient and showed obvious signs he didnt want to be there. When I asked if he could give me more information he said everything is online and he wouldnt give me information because he mentioned I wasnt going to buy it.3. I bought an XE from another dealership and brought it to get it serviced, not only did it take 8 hours to get an oil change, but they were unable and unwilling to answer any questions I had.It doesnt seem like the people here care about helping customers compared to other Jag dealerships.

Even though we did not buy my Land Rover from this dealership I have been getting it serviced here for the last 5 years. Every time I drop off the vehicle and pick it up is a breeze in the park. I was able to get my car the same day. The shuttle driver was very courteous. His name is Calvin. The repair service men were very helpful. When I arrived I said I had an appointment with Chris. He said I was not on his calendar but he did not turn me away. I was very pleased with this and would not be able to care they are so good that I cannot compare them to anyone else and Ive had other experiences with companies that sold and repaired Jaguars. This Jaguar company is for better than I can say that any of the Jaguar company has treated me.

I have purchased two Range Rovers from this dealership specifically, John sold them to me. Recently my lease expired and I inquired with Mike as John is no longer with the dealership about purchasing my current Range Rover. Not only was Mike not helpful he was also very rude! From the beginning of the conversation he was solely focused on selling me a new which I explained that I didn’t really like the updates that had been done on the current models and was serious about purchasing the current one that I have. I will never purchase another vehicle from the dealership nor will I encourage any friends/ colleagues to as well. I purchased a Range Rover Velar from Bluff city, TN. I live and work in Mississippi, 3 hrs away from the dealer and because of that, at the time of purchase, the dealers made false promises of getting the car serviced during Saturdays so that I didnt have to take a day off and drive 3 hrs during a weekday. The car that I bought from this dealer had bad problems with the infotainment system and it needed a software update. When I called the service center, they refused to get my car serviced on a Saturday. I called the service center for detailing to be done on a Saturday for which they again refused. Land Rover Bluff city has failed to keep up with their promises of accommodating their customers for a software update or a Detailing service.

Lived in another state when I bought my Jaguar. If I knew I was moving to Memphis I would never have bought it. All the service reviews are spot on. Horrible service and it’s rampant. It took 4 days of leaving voicemails with no return call and finally calling the main number, refusing to be placed on hold to get someone to make an appointment. Then they wouldn’t have a loaner for 3 weeks. I was also told to get my car serviced every 7500 miles instead of every 10,000 and when I asked they told me I was lied to when I bought the car (not true as I called Jaguar directly). Then I made an appointment to get my car fixed for some minor damage resulting from a small car accident. They made me wait 2 weeks to get a loaner and when I drove down (25 minutes out of the way) I had to wait to be seen and then was told they don’t do body repair work. They knew that was what I needed when I made the appointment but didn’t bother to tell me. So I wasted more time and still have to get my car fixed. They are incompetent, rude, and dishonest. Won’t buy another one. Love the car but refuse to deal with the dealership for service so I’ll be shopping for a new make this week. Too bad. I would have been a loyal customer for life if they hadn’t been miserable to work with.

Let me say that I like this service department in general. Today was it’s worse for me. I had an 8:30 appointment for an oil change and didn’t leave til 12:10. Something is wrong with that!!! I wasted almost 4 hours for an oil change and was repeatedly told at least 5 times that it was about to get washed. This was ridiculous and most annoying . Everyone who came after me left way before me. The service gentleman was pleasant. I’m not sure where the breakdown occurred and it never should have. No one apologized for the tremendous delay and that is unfortunate. I was given my keys without a sorry or thank you. That’s not Jaguar quality service. I truly expected a higher level of service.

I had a 10 am appointment Saturday morning to show a vehicle I had already driven to my wife. We got there a few minutes early, Derrick was 20 minutes late as he was with another customer. He came in, greeted us, and then told us the vehicle was sold last night. I asked why he didnt call us (he has my cell #) and he said he just didnt have time. Didnt have time? Needless to say it put a damper on our morning. I have no issue with them selling the vehicle - their prerogative there - but not to call. Purely a tactic to see if maybe we want to upgrade or something else. Disappointed.

The agents are very racist. I came into the dealership on Monday and I was walking around looking, stood and walked for about 20 mins while two agents a man and a woman had a full conversation in front of me they just ignored my presence until I approached them to ask is there someone that’s going to help me or do I just assist myself, I been standing here 20 mins and nobody seems to care, he then says he will see what he can do he comes back with this guy and I let them know that I may not look like the average that comes in here, but I can afford anything on this lot with a 20% down payment. I didn’t like the way I was sized up and judge from the moment I stepped foot in that building. They showed their ignorance and how racism still exist in these small minded towns. I was going to buy from there but now I will never purchase from a dealership that condones racism and disrespect to its prospective customers.

So my Range Rovers screen goes blank at times so it needed a soft ware update and also my height sensor went out as well. So I called Bluff City’s Land Rover I might add I have NEVER been there before and I didn’t buy my car there but let me tell you the service was amazing they picked up my car from Jonesboro Arkansas one and and a half from Memphis on Tuesday afternoon and had it back in my driveway by Thursday at noon! My service advisor was the nicest and most helpful person I have ever dealt with! Highly recommend Todd Fulford of Bluff City!

I took my S-type jaguar to this dealership and was told that I needed a fuel pump. Me not knowing that the car has two pumps on it. Three years later am having the same problem. So I take it to Archers Auto Service to be repaired. Mr. Archer told me that it was my fuel pumps. I told him that I had Bluff City Jaguar to replace my fuel pump. He said that they only replaced one of the pumps. He even showed me the fuel pumps that he took off of my car. One pump looks new, and the other one looks the same as the age of the car. He charged me half of what the dealership charged me to change both fuel pumps. Im going to the media on this dealership because this type of work is misleading.

Horrible service. We bought a Range Rover from these guys. We called in when we heard about the recall on The Velar to fix it and they said they cannot do offer the service on a Saturday. We have to drive 3hrs to this place so we can do only on Saturdays.We also have issue with infotainment system and when called they said it needs a software upgrade. I would assume they need to call their customers and tell them and offer them the upgrade.Why do they say they can service on saturdays when they cant do it???When we were ready to buy the car they said they offer car service on weekends.Extremely bad customer service and support. Very disappointed with them.

I purchased a Discovery last year and am unable to get service. I have left two voice mails with the service manager and tried to schedule maintenance through the app. To date I have not received a return call. Overall I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of this vehicle. Parts have fallen off, trim has loosened, and the computer system is flakey. I drove an Audi before this car and the comparison is non existent (the Audi was better). I’m looking at a BMW now as I really don’t want to deal with Land Rover any further. When I tried to discuss getting an upgraded model (thinking this would provide a better experience) the Bluff City team seemed uninterested and non responsive. I usually don’t leave ratings however I felt the need to warn others.....shop elsewhere!

Recently returned my car to dealership for a minor repair which turned out to be a quick fix and shortly the problem was fixed and I was on my way home. The technician was very helpful and assured me it would not take long. Everyone at the dealership is very nice and accommodating.

We were serious about buying a discovery sport, and came in about 20 minutes before closing. Rather than showing us the car, the sales person talked about the vehicle like it was way to far out of our price range and assumed we couldnt afford it (we were ready to make buy this car tonight). We didnt feel welcome, and are hoping he was just having a bad day; however, we are reconsidering our decision to buy with this dealership as a result.

The first time I brought my vehicle in, when I came back to pick it up I was handed the keys and told my truck was around back. I’ve owned luxury cars for over 10 years and NEVER have I EVER had to fetch my own vehicle from around back! Second encounter, paid $1400 for front brakes ONLY which also included an inspection... somehow less than a week later I’m now dealing with a power steering issue. Wishing I had stuck with Benz or BMW, as I don’t even want to think about how my next visit to Bluff City JLR will go. Dice Roll!
