I have had an awful experience Subaru. My husband and I were lied to when we bought the extended warranty (telling us that things were covered that arent) and the service department provided me with terrible service. They are completely lacking in communication and attention to detail. I told them that I had a leak in my tire and they said they didnt see a leak. They didnt listen to me so they made me wait an extra hour after waiting half a day for an oil change and tire rotation. Which I thought was still under warranty....but it wasnt. I know that its ultimately my responsibility to keep up with these things, but they didnt warn me at all! I think a heads up that I would be paying out of pocket for an oil change and tire rotation that was about $150.00 would have been nice. Plus, I went back into my paperwork and found that I had tire protection, but they charged me anyway. Ive been trying to get a refund and had to call several times. I would be refunded the money yesterday, but it still hasnt happened. Its been a delightful experience having bought my first new car *insert sarcasm here*

Id been doing my research for a few years, reading Consumer Reports and when it was time to buy a new car, we headed to the Hacks Cross Subaru. I built my car online and printed it out to take with me. After looking inside the Forester that they had, I decided that yes, this was indeed the car for me, and I handed my car mock-up to our salesman to order. Because of the microchip shortage, the time between ordering and receiving was about 6 weeks. Subaru kept us abreast of the process the whole time, even telling us when our cars VIN number was created. Best car buying experience I have ever had. We were thinking of going to Subaru because of all of the safety features we had heard about.
