The staff at Unique Boutique provided me with excellent customer service! I was in a really tight bind and in need of a bridesmaid dress immediately. After an unpleasant experience at another “big name” dress shop I searched for other options. When I called Unique Boutique the owner was actually out sick however, (from her home) she took the time to assist me and make sure that I had options available upon arriving to the store. I was able to find a dress and the the seamstress on-sight tailored it the same day! Very pleased with the quality of service here!

Was with a group of bridesmaids (October/November 2020) who all together spent over $2000 here. Staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional after we ordered the dresses, while being measured the owner advised me to “lay off the cake” so my dress would fit... When we picked up our dresses they tried to give me the wrong girl’s dress, luckily I caught the mistake. Several of our dresses had stains on the gowns that were very noticeable. Would not recommend this boutique.

Very unprofessional. No organization. Nobody could keep their story straight (yes she can measure you, no we can’t unless you buy something - it’ll take a month to get here, it can be here in a week - we never special order dresses without a deposit, let’s special order you one no deposit required). My appointment was a mess and I will NOT be going back. The ladies were nice enough so that’s the one star I’m rating but even after THEY as a business messed up I didn’t feel like they cared at all about ruining my day that I’d waited so eagerly for after making an appointment a WHOLE MONTH IN ADVANCE.

I will never be going back to this place! the lady didnt even realize we had an appointment(so they werent prepared), and then when we told her what we wanted she gave us the exact opposite. She was pushy and not helpful at all. She was asking the bridesmaids to put the dresses on and she was not attentive at all. She continued to repeat We are UNIQUE and we have the BEST seamstress in the land any time that we said we didnt like the dresses. We were not allowed to take any pictures. It was the worst experience. Glad we went elsewhere to find the dress.

I will not be going back there. Ms Donna was very nice but the sales consultant that was working with us was very pushing and rude. This place was unorganized. My sister picked out dresses and they took them to the dressing room the consultant had someone else put them back on the rack so they couldnt try on the ones she pick out. The consultant wanted them to get a dress we werent sure of the color. The consultant suggested us to go look at another designer and when we went back she was helping the young prom girls with dresses. I feel it I make an appointment that I should have that consultants attention for an hour. I felt that we werent has important has the girls trying on their prom dresses. They had at least 3 consultants helping one girl that was looking at prom dresses. They have to many people just not knowing what to do. I will not go back to this boutique.

Although the store was quite busy with other brides and students looking for prom dresses, Ms. Donna went above and beyond to assist me in selecting and trying on dresses and accessories during my appointment. I went here to rent a tuxedo for my schools prom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I dont know much about fashion, but I got over a dozen compliments that night on my tuxedo. My prom date also got here dress from this store and she absolutely loved it. They wrote down the dress they sold her so they wouldnt sell the same one to anyone else.

Worst customer service and experience. Im so dissatisfied with the service. Purchased a dress that had a spot that I originally didnt see. Upon purchasing the dress ( expensive), I was assured that any spots & loose beads will be fixed. Needless to say they werent able to get the spot out I found. Remind you that you have to purchase the dress before any alternations are done. They tried to say maybe my daughter put the spot in the dress how when the dress was in their care except when I bought it home and discovered that they didnt fix the beading. I asked what can the do to make me a satisfied customer or compensate me. They stated by working hard trying to get the spot out. I asked for earrings or a bag. I believe in customer satisfaction. I will NEVER purchase or recommend anyone Unique Boutique EVER.

Took my daughters to get a prom dress! Very rude workers! I felt personally victimized by Donna the way she was treating them. My daughter wanted to try on a dress that was on a mannequin and she said no that it was too time consuming and that it wouldn’t fit her anyways!

Will not be returning to this shop ever again and will not recommend to anyone. To be fair, if you’re looking for a prom dress I suppose it would be ok, but looking for anything related to your wedding...forget it. The dressing room area is too small. There are 4 dressing rooms and two large mirrors in the dressing area. The loitering consultants gather in the small area gawking at the customers in the dresses. It makes it difficult for the people in the dressing rooms to open the door to get out. It was a continuous “excuse me the prom girl needs to look in the mirror” (for 5 minutes per dress). The consultant gives you one dress at a time and l opens the dressing room door to hand you the dress while you are in your underclothes. There are men assistants in the shop. Come on ...do really think we can stuff a gown into our purses or hide the gown under our street clothes??????? Very very disorganized staff. Ms Donna was very sweet and apologized and asked us to please come back, but we will not. I know that a prom is a teenage girls dream but so is a bride’s wedding.

My sister recently went here for alterations for her pageant. They were unable to follow simple directions. On one of the dresses they were supposed to fix, she did not find out until the night of the pageant that they never actually fixed the dress. They were very pushy and tried to sell her another dress that she did not want. They are very difficult to work with. I only recommend people going for prom dresses.

Amazing service!!!! I found a dress for my aunt (not in her size) and the nice young lady found it in her size. They made her feel so loved and were very welcoming once we walked in. The owner was wonderful she helped her find the perfect dress.

Today we picked up my dayghter’s dress got home to try it on again and was stuck by 3 pins left underneath the petty coat. Alterations obviously weren’t done to minimize the length. However I will not be returning. Worse experience ever. Would not recommend this place. A gorgeous/ expensive dress ruined by poor alterations.

Pending my upcoming nuptials I searched the internet to find the perfect dress! So I visit Unique Boutique (had an appointment at Davids Bridal but I really didnt want a cookie cutter wedding dress) and I did not have an appointment however Ms. Jackie was so pleasant and helpful. To the customer that felt no one should ask your price range is foolish. They ask this in order to get a price point for your spending. If youve ever watched Say Yes To The Dress that is the first question they ask. Anywhoooooo......although it was busy I was treated very pleasantly during my visit. They actually had the dress I picked out online! Although that wasnt the dress I fell in love with and purchased I was able to find the perfect dress. After debating if I should get it I was able to receive a nice discount! Although my initial alterations were not done in time, I did receive a call and asked if I could reschedule which worked out fine for me because you have to plan for the unexpected. All in all I enjoyed my experience at Unique Boutique and would recommend them.

Not impressed - would be OK for an evening dress but this is no bridal shop - they do have some dresses but not many and not necessarily the brands they advertise on the website - the young girl that helped us was very sweet but the shop did not have much to offer.

I drove over 2 hrs to go prom shopping at this location. From what I could tell on the website and a phone call with an employee this was a great place to shop. Once I shopped there I quickly changed my mind. The outside looks appealing. Inside there were tons of dresses but to my misfortune there wasnt a wide variety of prom dresses. I was not help or greeted my whole visit there. The dresses they did have were out of date,not current and to top it all off there was hardly anything in the smaller sizes (2-8). Very disappointed with the customer service (since there was none) and variety of selection. I would not recommend shopping there it would be a waste of your time.

My mom and I went in to look for a dress for my sisters wedding. The service we received in the store was great, found a dress, ordered it and paid in full for the dress. Was told the order was placed and we were done. My mom called to check on it (she hadnt heard anything and it was the day for it to come in) she was told they had lost the order, and once they realized the order had been lost they placed the order. However, at this point it was on backorder and would not be in in time. No dress all her $400 bucks. They didnt even call her to tell her this, or apologize or anything. Stay away youll thank me

I went to pick up bridesmaids dresses and get fitted for a friends wedding. They tried to tell me I needed a size that was 2 sizes too big, then were shocked when I fit in the size I told them I needed. I should mention that this is during the second time that we went. Both times I went with the Maid of Honor for the wedding that we are in and both times we were met with rude employees. We both left saying we never wanted to set foot back in the store again. If I would have ordered the size that they said, I would have had to completely reconstruct the dress in alterations, so I am glad I did not listen to them. I would never recommend this place! Thinking about ever going here for another dress causes me to have nightmares after the horrible experience that we had.

My daughter and I have been prom dress shopping for weeks now and was trying to fond the perfect dress that my daughter Ashley would be happy with. We visited other bridal boutiques but did not find what we where looking for nor was the customer service satifying.. THEN we visited Unique Boutique!! Ms. Donna and her staff was AMAZING AND VERY HELPFUL!! No matter how busy they where, Ms. Donna and her staff took the time and personally made sure that my daughter got the time and attention that she needed. Worst experience ever! Stood in the lobby for 5 minutes with my bridal party without anyone acknowledging us. Then once someone did finally ask us if we needed help its was a lady by the name of Joann. She was so rude. She first asked us have we been anywhere else and we told her yes, Davids Bridal. She then spent 20 minutes down talking Davids Bridal rather than showing me any dresses. I did not come to Unique Boutique to discuss how she felt about Davids Bridal.The whole time she only had one dress in her hand while rambling on and on about Davids Bridal by the time she finished I did not even want to look at anything in their store. I would not recommend them to anyone!

Went looking for my wedding dress this weekend. The dresses are beautiful and I found the perfect one that barely needed any alterations. The only problem was, it was over budget. Gwyn could tell the price bothered me, so she quoted a lower price to my sister-in-law. The lower price was good enough to encourage me to try the dress on a second time and take it to the check out counter ready to buy. When they rang up the sale however....the price went back up almost to the original sticker price, hundreds of dollars above the price I was quoted! Just be careful to really stand firm on your budget and know that their promises are too good to be true if they quote you a lower price. I left empty handed and angry.

Their customer service is horrible.....my husbands vest and tied was yellow and it was delivered with red stains on them a shirt that was purchased supposed to be brand new was dirty and musty, my husbands best friend got married last month they went to this so call boutique to request their suits in april they were told they would arrive May 15 but they would call to notify of arrival, no call was ever done to none of the 7 guys that order suits when we called to check on them we were told they simply hadnt arrived to call back they got the suits 5 days before the wedding, when the order was placed everyone was measured to get the correct sizes when the suits arrived they were about 2 sizes bigger than their normal size not one suit fitted well on any of the guys, the suits fabric quality was awful it almost look like a custom you can but at party city I looked at the prices on line base on the brand on the tag and the price was $74 they were sold at $290.00 per suit on top of that we had to pay $20 per alteration some of the guys ended up paying over 120 dollars in alterations they finally got their suits 2 days before the wedding, the vest and shoes were rented so they were suppose to be return to Monday after the wedding according to the owner which there is no where in their receipts that stated that we received a call from the owned stating the she was calling the cops and was filing a police report to report stolen property, that if we didnt return the items by 6pm the were making a claim the call was received at 550 pm. She agreed to wait til the next day when the items were deliver i started explaining about the stains and a dirty and musty shirt that was suppose to be brand new and she rudely interrupted me stating we did the damage on the vest and tied, she ordered and demanded me to show her a picture immediately she kept talking over me not allowing to explain her what was going on, she was more upset because there were some potential customers, she ended up kicking me out and threatening me to call the cops on me which she did I asked the people who was there to please look at how she was treating me and that she would do the same to her, according to her in order to avoid her reporting the items stolen we had to sign a form stating all of the items were returned which she refused to allow me to sign, kicked me out and call the police on me this place should not be open

My sister and her friends came into Memphis from FTW to go prom dress shopping. This store was VERY rude. they immediately asked for a price range, and when the girls chose something outside of it they were discouraged from trying it on. Assuming what someone can pay for is dangerous to your sales. Because they could have had any dress in the store they chose that day, but i would buy it ANYWHERE but there. Also, girls are not allowed to take pics in dresses AND, the sales kept peeking in the dressing room at teenage girls to ensure no pictures... we dont need pics, the make,style and color is all we need to buy elsewhere. And all the talk about not trying on expensive ones due to wear and tear ridiculous, because thats not the one were were planning on ordering, thats why you place an ORDER. and the one we did try on that they were so worried about had a ripped seam anyways. VERY RUDE, unprofessional staff that now has me on a mission to tell everyone about their store. Its my opinion they were unfair against the girls who 1, were dressed appropriately to try on clothing, clean, well behaved and somewhat shy. Ill take my money elsewhere
