Omg, best experience ever!!! The salesperson was so nice, even though I showed up a little late. She still took her time with me and when I showed her the kind of dresses I was looking for, she found the perfect dress for me!!!! I can not thank her more for helping me find my dream wedding dress!!!

Amy, our gown whisperer was AMAZING. She was incredibly kind, smart and really listened to me! Every dress she pulled for me to try on got better and better until we finally found THE dress! Definitely making a second appointment to go back for my accessories. They have an unbelievable selection! You have to see it to believe it. Wonderful, beautiful store and a fabulous team. Oh my goodness where do I begin?? This place is absolutely amazing!! The whole “vibe” is so awesome! The minute you walk in, you are treated as a very special and treasured guest! I went with my daughter to find her dream dress, and she did!! Joelle our “Gown Whisperer” was fantastic!! She placed us in a beautiful setting, and sat with us giving a brief history of this gorgeous store. Then she asked my daughter lots of questions to get a feel for her style, a few gowns later… Riley found THE DRESS! It was such a fun experience! To celebrate the occasion, we were treated to a champagne toast on the rooftop with the Memphis skyline as a back drop!!

As Im nearing my big day, I cannot help but thank Amy B. for her help in finding my perfect dress! Myself along with my bridal party visited in July earlier this year. Amy was super helpful, pleasant and very patient as I tried on my gowns. ironically enough the gown that I as selected was one of HER picks and I couldnt be more than happy. When work kept me delayed on pick up for my gown, they shipped it directly to me in tact without any issues. If youre looking for a great environment, awesome service as well as beautiful AND affordable gowns, you should definitely give them a look and ask for Amy!!

I found my dress in 2014 and still love it so much!! I had done some dress shopping in a few stores before Barefoot, and hadnt really found anything with quality in my budget. There were so many dresses at Barefoot to shop through, it was fun looking through them all. I think I tried on two dresses there before I found one that was perfect!!! The quality and style was exactly what I hoped for!!

I absolutely love going here. I purchased my wedding dress here back in December and just went again recently for a friend. Gorgeous dresses and friendly staff. Love the new downtown location because it is adorable and spacious.However, I was a little disappointed with the size inclusion. Although they went up to size 30, when I went with a friend, she was very upset leaving with no new ideas for her bridal dress shopping fitting because nothing really fit her. They recommended a custom fitting dress, which was really awesome, but she was nervous to buy something without at least trying something similar on, even if it didn’t fit completely. Most of the bigger dresses were your older styled traditional white dresses, not the modern fitting ones. I know the stylist felt disappointed as well because she really truly wanted to help.But I would totally recommend this place to anyone wanting a beautiful, affordable, and unique wedding dress. I cannot wait to wear my dress next month ☺️

I was told all about Barefoot before I ever stepped foot in the store. One of my best friends got her gown a few months earlier and raved about the experience.The day of dress shopping arrived and I met my fairy gownmother AMY! She is and was the best. So funny, supportive, and kind. Her love and enthusiasm made dress shopping so easy and fun.Months later I came back to pick out my veil and I was lucky enough to work with the legend AMY again. I was shocked how she remembered everything every detail about my wedding and my dress. Again she was the magical and supportive person again. I had an amazing experience today at the Barefoot Bride! My mom was only in town for the day, and they fit us in even when they weren’t taking any appointments that day. The whole experience from start to finish was fun, easy, and exciting. Cristin (my gown whisperer, as she called herself and her tshirt said) listened to me and we pulled dresses together that I liked! Her confidence that we would find a dress made me confident that we would find a dress. Plus, their stock is unrivaled.... racks and racks and racks of gorgeous gowns. And out of those we pulled, I found my dress and bought it on the spot! I couldn’t be happier and would recommend this place to anyone. I felt like I was on Say Yes to the Dress!

Barefoot Bride went out of their way to help me locate a dress I couldnt find anywhere. They did not carry the specific dress I had in mind but Joelle went above and beyond, putting me in touch with someone who did and helping arrange for me to have a virtual appointment with them. They had nothing to gain besides helping a bride on her dress search-its so heartwarming to see there is still genuine kindness in the world :) not to mention that kind of customer service is few and far between. The customer services is out of this world. You have truly warm welcome and smiles when you walk through the door. It’s like bridal heaven when you walk through the door. I cant describe how amazing my experience was at the Barefoot Bride! We had our own beautiful and private fitting area. The atmosphere was so relaxed, and my dress whisperer, Amy, made our experience perfect. Her and I had such a great rhythm going, and she pulled so many great dresses in my budget and I was able to try on SO MANY without ever feeling pressured. They even have a cool virtual set up for guests unable to join. After my first appointment, I was bummed to not find anything. I went to another well known bridal shop over in Arkansas and immediately knew that the experience I had at Barefoot was special. Joelle was able to get me back in the shop and I found my dream dress! For anyone who is wedding dress shopping in the Memphis area, the Barefoot Bride is an absolute must visit! SO RUDEWow. As a mother of the bride (and purchaser of the gown) requesting a short meeting on behalf of the out of town bride, I was turned down and brushed off as a nuisance.The owner stated no one gets to look at their stock, instead she (the owner) will decide which gowns to show, the bride must be present, and family members are NOT allowed. This appalling response was discourteous, disrespectful and poor business. We will go elsewhere for our daughters gown.

After searching a couple other shops, I made an appointment here and it was an awesome experience!!!! I decided to do this appointment alone because I didnt want the oooh and ahhh of my supporters to cloud my decision on what gown I choose. The atmosphere was peaceful and the staff was cheerful. Cristin was my gown whisper and she made me feel special. Her personality and energy was awesome, Loved It!!! She made this appointment all about me! No pressure at all. Cristin was amazing and definitely lived up to her title of gown whisperer! The girls working there were friendly, inviting and made this moment feel special. I I appreciated that they were able to FaceTime my best friend and family so that they could share the moment with me despite having to reduce the number of guests in the shop. 10 out of 10 would recommend this as the place to snag your wedding dress in Memphis!

I wish I could give more than 5/5 stars.I was brand new to Memphis when I got engaged. My family and my bridal party are across the country. I dreaded the thought of going alone to try on wedding dresses. Making matters more difficult, I came with hopes and ideas beyond the traditional.When I walked in, it felt like I was with family/friends...or like I entered an enchanted world where not only could someone read my mind, she could make my wishes come true and stay within a budget—and find the perfect shapes and tricks for my body.I loved every gown I was shown, but the second one I put on was *the one*.I was well cared-for. I was able to take photos to share with my loved ones. I was advised on how to achieve the look I wanted with alterations. I was reassured. My confidence was boosted.And I was married six months later in the most beautiful gown thanks to Barefoot Bride.I later returned with my niece and watched her find her perfect dress.I wish every bride could have this experience.

I was really nervous about shopping for a wedding dress but Amy at Barefoot Bridal made it so fun and relaxed. I never felt any pressure to buy any particular dress and you could tell that Amy and the staff were devoted to figuring out what looked the best. They really listened to me and even read my facial expressions (!) to select which dresses I should try on next. I would have been totally lost without them. It was pain-free and a total blast.

After experiencing the nightmare that was Lowe’s Bridal, the supposed “place to go”, my daughter and I went to The Barefoot Bride. Lowe’s set the bar pretty low in terms of service, gown selection, and ahem, not enough dressing rooms to accommodate the excessively overbooked madhouse of bridal appointments, not to mention having to pay $10 just to get an appointment!; so my expectations weren’t too high, preparing for our appointment at The Barefoot Bride. However, Joelle was AMAZING! She treated my daughter the way all brides deserve to be treated while shopping for THE dress! She listened, she was attentive, and accommodating! The shop was adorable and quiet, even with other bridal appointments going on. We had our own spot in the store, with an actual dressing room! I can’t say enough about this incredible boutique! When shopping for a gown, The Barefoot Bride knows it’s not just about the dress, it’s about the whole experience! Something Lowe’s could definitely take a lesson from! My daughter found THE dress at The Barefoot Bride and we couldn’t be happier!

Love their new location in downtown Memphis. They are located in the Emerge Building which is a really cool and beautiful historic building. Amazing atmosphere inside the store and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend!

This is the most amazing bridal shop. I was nervous at first because I worried about how I would find my dress in just an hour, but the shop is such a treasure trove for beautiful designer gowns at a discounted rate that it is hard not to spot something you love quickly. Even if you don’t find a dress right away or want to take more time to think about it, you can set multiple appointments. The team was a dream to work with. They were all so hospitable (offering beverages) and were the sweetest ladies. Unlike other bridal shops, I didn’t feel any pressure to say yes to a dress that I was unsure about. They make it very clear that there is no pressure to commit. I ended up finding the most amazing dress within my budget that was perfect for me. It is a designer dress that retailed for twice the cost that I paid before it was discontinued. I never dreamed I could own something as beautiful as that. The quality of the dress was superb as it lasted all night through crazy dancing and walking through rain puddles. Give this shop a chance and become a barefoot bride!!

The staff was amazing!!Sadly they didnt have the style of dress (sheath w/crepe skirt) I was looking for and many of the dresses I tried werent in great condition. Ive heard lots of great things from other brides to be, unfortunately it just wasnt a fit for me.

Amazing experience! They have a huge selection and AMAZING staff! I told Nikki a few details of what I was looking for, and she worked her magic! I found my DREAM dress in less 45 minutes (and that’s including trying on multiple dresses & checking out)! I have to add that I didn’t feel rushed whatsoever and had so many gorgeous options to choose from. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they were that great and totally deserve it.

First thing I want to say was that the customer service was beyond excellent! She found my dress in 30 minutes. The bridal consultant listened to my descriptions and viewed pictures that I brought in and brought 3 gowns that were absolutely gorgeous. It was my indecisiveness that took me three trips to the store. In this process they were so gracious and supportive in allowing me to keep returning to the store for more fittings to be sure of my purchase as I KNEW all sales were final and understood this as they posted signs for clear communication to their customers. Immensely ecstatic and LOVED everything about the store and the personnel. My only regret is that I didn’t purchase my accessories there also. HIGHLY recommend!!!❤️❤️ Thank you Barefoot bride!!

I’m not what you’d refer to as a “girly girl”. I’ve always been a tomboy and I’m built like a linebacker up top. (Just keeping it real 🤷🏻‍♀️). Last Sunday, I took my stunning (and tiny) mother and my soon-to-be-40 year old aching body to the Barefoot Bride with a modest budget and the dream of a magical transformation. That’s exactly what Joelle, Amy, and the absolutely adorable young lady up front (whose name has escaped me, so sorry... did I mention I’m old?) gave me; magic. Superb customer service. Personal and genuine attention. Transformative wedding dress. I’m not sure there’s a cloud higher than this one. Thank you, ladies. Looking forward to coming back for those post-COVID hugs, as promised 💙

Zero return/exchange policy. Never worn dress because the wedding is in May, which is four months away. . Was willing to buy another dress. The Barefoot Bride would have been able to resell the dress and make money on the returned dress, PLUS the purchase of another dress. All smiles up front until you purchase a dress, but will not work with you at all. Very very disappointed and would not recommend.

I would like to first make a point that the customer service was excellent. Nathalie was very informative, friendly, and helpful.I made the appointment a month in advance and I was very excited and looking forward to it.I regret to say that the appointment didnt go well. The store had no dresses in my size. The few that were remotely close to my size were not the style/silhouette I was shopping for. I tried them on anyway, for the heck of it, and I ended up leaving empty handed after just 30 minutes.I was told I could make another appointment later that month to see what they have in stock then, but this is inconvenient. I had requested off work for this appointment and brought my mom and 3 closest buds to be excited with me. It takes a lot of planning to get me & 4 people available on the same day. (Plus, I live in Tipton county, which is a 1 hour drive.) I dont want to make another appointment with the possibility of being disappointed again.The website led me to believe that the store caters well to plus sizes, but instead, it was two small racks in the back, and being told to come back and see what they might have later. I also recall the salesperson mentioning that they dont receive many size 20 dresses. I was ready to buy a dress that day and this was not the experience I had pictured in my head. 💔

I had a WONDERFUL experience at the Barefoot Bride!! The consultants were warm and inviting when I came in. My consultant chose dresses only in my price range, refusing to let me fall in love with a dress above what I could pay. I got my wedding dress and veil for a great price! I would recommend the Barefoot Bride to anyone!

This place is AMAZING!! The dresses are all beautiful, and very affordable. But, what sets this place apart by far is the amazing help of the young lady that helped us. I would recommend this place 100 Xs over again. Our daughter said yes to the dress and wanted about all she tried on... Lol

Took my granddaughter Ariel and her bride-to-be Chelsey to look for dresses. We had been to a couple other places, and I guess we saved the best for last. We love the place and the people as soon as we went in. As we talked, we were given Champagne, and it was very refreshing. Actually came here as kind of a last resort. Looked for a wedding dress at the big bridal shop, Lows, in Arkansas and didnt find anything. Came here and absolutely loved it. Loved the experience and the girls in the shop were so sweet and funny. Loved every dress I saw and the prices were great. Bought the first dress I tried on.

I’m the matron of honor for my younger sister and joined her for the appointment. The entire experience was so much fun, and Amy had a fantastic eye for styles that looked so wonderful on the bride-to-be. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

They have a limit of 4 people you can bring with you. The groom had a younger sister that needed to come with us which would have made our party 5. They refused to let her come back to the bridal gown area even though we were the only ones in the store and there was seating for at least 5-6 people. I understand if a party has 7 or more folks but, come on, you had room for her so she and her grandmother had to stay up front.Also, there selection for a small bride was very limited.

I made an appointment for a specific date and time but called to tell them I am running late or I can reschedule. The lady then told me that I would have to pay $50 to reschedule or I can never reschedule. I never heard such thing before and I knew I was not going to pay them my $50 just to reschedule. Don’t they know $50 can go towards the dress I will be buying from another store. I just thought this was such SILLY business practice.

Great experience. These people are very professional and take their time helping prepare you for your special day. I recommend that everyone go here! Very good prices and very nice dresses.

Do NOT order bridesmaids dresses from here. Every single one of my bridesmaids dresses were way too big or way too short! They came in to the store for their measurements- you would think they could get the measurements right. NOPE. They were completely clueless as to how the brand of the dress we were ordering ran in size. The owner said she would make it right, yet she continued to argue with me every single time so that she would be the one who was right. I have sisters and friends getting married who are NOT using them for their dresses because of this terrible experience. The only positive from this was the color of the dresses ended up being prettier than expected. Besides that it was simply a terrible experience all around and costed my girls a fortune having them altered. Would’ve been way cheaper to have gone the more expensive route to get the right dresses.
