I love going to Dollar general store but now they dont have very many products in there to get like house cleaning products but I will still go

The Customer Service and Care could be improved. During checkout on my store shopping experience at this location on Thursday, December 31, 2020, both sales associates at the store (one I assume the MOD and the other a store associate) were discussing (griping) about an in store store situation involving another employee. This was very unprofessional and distracting to not just myself, it was so for other customers in the check out line, who also shared their unhappiness with the discussion, behavior, and conduct the sales associates displayed. While I understand the stressors and disappointments that employees and staff feel at any job ( and especially retail and service jobs), discussing these things while providing a service to customers is a definite nay and turn off for me. My view is that the sales associates could have waited to discuss these things when no customers were present, or on their breaks, or at closing time. I am very disappointed and dismayed at the conduct and conversation displayed during my shopping experience at this location on December 31, 2020. I do hope my comments are taken into consideration and conduct and conversations like this will not happen again. Remember customers are always watching and listening while shopping.

The store is clean and staff is polite.It was easy to shop no cluttered aisles.

The store is always clean and organized. They are just a little slow.

Lights were all on, within store hours, but doors were locked. Nothing explaining why. Went to another store and it was open, so its like someone walked out in the middle of a shift and locked the doors.

One of my favorite stores to visit. It seems pretty unfair for the cashiers to have to stock all the products and also keep an eye on the cash register. They should have a full time stock person.

VERY NASTY & FILTHY STORE! If I could rate that store negative 0, I would. On March 1, 2019 at approximately 5pm, there were 2 female employees complaining loudly, as if they didnt care at all if customers heard them, about the fact that they did not want to be at work. One of the females stated that she wish there was something she could do to speed up her time at work. When I arrived at the register, I was almost forced by the female employees at the register in a very nasty tone to pay with cash. When I presented to her my method of paying, she made faces and frustrating mumblings. She kept saying as I was trying to pay her, Come on! Come on! Come on! When she saw I was clearly getting highly offended & asked was she trying to rush me, she never apologized, but said, You shouldnt have taken it that way as if I was hurrying you. I responded, I am a customer. How else do you think I should have taken your negative remark of telling me repeatedly to come on, come on? The 2 female employees at the register were EXTREMELY RUDE & did not give me Corporates phone number when I politely requested it. I had to find Corporates phone number myself & spoke to them indepth. The employee responded as if she was never going to be talked to by her superior at Dollar General. VERY NASTY attitude. Dollar General, as the old saying goes, When the cat is away, the mice will play. Those 2 female employees are a very poor representation of your store. I truly hope you do something about them.

One of the cashiers was very rude and followed me around the store. I had picked up some laundry detergent on aisle and found another on a clearance rack so I set the one I didnt want down and picked up the other, she came back around and rudely stated If you aint gonna buy dis one den you need to put the other back or folks gonna think dis one on discount too. I replied I apologize Im kind of in a rush. she said Whateva and proceeded to walk away. This lady doesnt need to be dealing with customers or interacting with anyone if she has a shi*** attitude. I didnt ask her to fill out that job application. Find you a new job lady. Your rude.

This is the second Dollar General Store Ive been in this week and nobody knows where the key is to the bathroom or the bathroom is out of order. Now I feel like if Im spending money in these stores they should be able to accommodate me with the bathroom.

People normally bypass the Dollar Store and head to the department store or Walmart but you should stop and check them out they jave some neat finds. If youre lucky you wont have to wait as long as uou do at the larger chains.

My visit was pretty good.

They are very lazy. I had a return with receipt. The lady said that she couldnt read the bar code on it. I went to another store on Winchester and the manager helped me. I lost money on one of the items because it had been marked down. I called the corporate office,gave a report and they didnt call me back. I will NEVER use another DOLLAR GENERAL STORE again.

The store located on Shelby drive closes and states online that it closes at 10PM and when I walked in they told they were closed and I asked why and their response was “Oh we are just closed” and I repeated again. And again their was “we are closed”. Which I found it disrespectful because it stated 10 PM not 5:26pm.
