I was traveling accross the country and broke down at midnight! I called many places to get help and left messages early in the morning. They called me back and said even though they are full, go ahead and tow it over and they will check it out on the side because if someone is in an emergency situation then they are going to help! Everything worked out great .... Very nice people and professional!!

I had issues with the brakes on my 67 Mustang and brought it to the shop. Scott was very patient, took my appointment in pretty quick and got back to me really quick on what the issue was along with potential fixes and quick turnover time for those fixes. Very honest, genuine team and I highly recommend this shop if youre looking for a reliable car repair shop.

When I had car trouble driving through Memphis on my way to St. Louis I pulled over and called the closest mechanic. Lucky for me it was Tri State Reconditioned Cars. It was late in the day and they were fully booked, but they agreed to take a look at it. Not only did they figure out the problem, but had me back on the road within a couple of hours staying after closing to get the job done. Scott and his team were some of the kindest mechanics Ive ever dealt with, making sure iI was comfortable while waiting on a very hot day and even gassed up the car before I got back on the road. Highly recommend.

I just moved to Memphis and Ive been looking for a mechanic. I finally found one. The owner Scott is a honest guy. He worked on my mustange, for a fair price. I have more work to on other vehicles and he is my new mechanic. I differently recommend him.

Scott and his team are amazing! Their work is always excellent, they are very efficient, communicate well, and their prices are fair. The owner Scott is a great mechanic with excellent customer service skills. We have used him for our car needs for over 20 years. Everything is perfect except for the price. They can be a little too expensive BUT heah, you get what you pay for.

I have taken several of our vehicles to Tri State about 5-6 times over the last 15-20 years. They have always been great to work with, up front with pricing and always WAY less than what a dealer would charge. I have never had to come back with any issues on any of my cars they have fixed. Highly recommend.

If I could give more stars I would. Were doing a round the country trip in a 86 g20 van and its a lot of maintenance, but we dont know much about carburetors and all. We had a high idle problem so we dropped by Tri State. Scott told us he was booked until the next week but took 15 minutes to look a the engine and fix the problem, he explained everything to us. Warm and professional. Thank you Scott.
