My brother spent $2000 getting his antique car repaired and the wrong spark plug wires were installed. Upon returning to get the proper wires, they gave part of the wires that had been removed and made no offer to give him the correct wires.

Madison Automotive is an excellent car shop. They are very knowledgeable and will explain exactly what needs to be done to your vehicle. Unlike other mechanic shops, they are honest and up front about everything and are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

Good people. Fair prices. They shoot straight. Never have I had that Im being talked down to bc Im a woman experience. I know more about cars than my husband. Do not act like I cant keep up. They dont. Doesnt matter how well you follow or not. They will break it down for you if you need them to or they will just shoot straight with you. Dont have enough to fix it all? Tell them. Friendly service. Had issues with aircon. Went to two other service centers to get it looked at as it had the 1234 freon in it, and they found and fixed the problem in 2 hours compared to the dealership telling me they would keep vehicle for 3 days and no loaner vehicle for another 3 weeks. Was spendy, but because of the new freon not the center.

I’m so glad my coworker referred me to Madison Automotive. My car wouldn’t cut on and I couldn’t figure out why. They knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it right away for a great price! I recently purchased a vehicle from local dealership which had what was thought to be a battery issue. Dealership sent me to Madison they checked batteries which tested out fine but the alternator was bad it was around 4:45 closing time was 5:00. Once they got ok from dealer I had 3 guys under my hood long story short NASCAR needs these guys they had me up and running and I beat 5 o’clock traffic leaving Memphis headed back home. Not only that but these guys committed up front to if it’s past 5 so be it “we are going to have your truck running right before you leave our shop”. I don’t go to mechanic shop very often but if I need on in Memphis you can bet it will be Madison !!

Went in for a 100k mi tune up of which includes changing out the spark plugs, here it is 20mi later and the vehicle is toast bc they didnt change them out and/ or installed incorrect ones and the spark plug is now crispy fried and looks 80mi old or just burnt BBC it is not the correct spark plug for the vehicle. So they just cost us our 25k truck. Thanks guys! Oh, and they ripped us off by overcharging. Might just have to call a lawyer about this one.

I bought a Groupon for 3 oil changes. We were told by them that as long as we got our first oil change before the expiration date that we were in the system and could come back at any time to get the remaining two oil changes. We got the 2nd oil change last year. We called this year to get the third and were told that the groupon has expired. Will not do business with them ever again Beware buying their groupons.

Very unprofessional never fixed the bus right had bus for 4 months over charged and tried to screw the insurance company and client for over billing. They are very shady be careful they will over Bill u and charge u later for some thing that wasnt stated. I had to take to another Mechinc to fix there screwup.

Very bad attitude! stay away from them or be ready to wait for weeks to get your car fixed they promised to get mine fixed in few days it took them 3 weeks. I had to get the police involved to get my car finished n get it out of their lot after waiting for over 2 weeks. David the owner is very rude and unprofessional. After he was pushed by police to finish the job and give me my car he did a cowardly action by intentionally breaking my windshield window on the left corner unfortunately I didnt see it until I got home. I own many businesses around the city of Memphis and I treat all ppl and all colors with same respect and same great customer service. Its so sad to see ppl running businesses the way Madison does.I have pictures to prove all my claims and I will use it in court.100% real n honest review.

Just talk to Dave the manager on the phone. He was not nice at all and I wanted to see if anyone had horrible experiences with him before I wasted my time and money. Yep! Wont be going there.. Seems like he treats women in particular horrible.
