I drove my Jaguar to Euro Imports of Memphis because it had a bothersome but manageable coolant leak. I would have to add some coolant every few days. They performed a pressure test on the coolant system and, in doing so, destroyed it and made my car undrivable as it no longer held coolant. They wanted $4000 to repair the damage. I paid them to perform $1800 for repairs to just get my car running again so I could take it home. It was a waste of money as it was no closer to holding coolant than before the repairs. They wanted another $3000 just to make my car drivable again. A total of $4,800.00.My car used to work, I took it to Euro Imports, they did $1,800 of repairs and now my car isnt drivable. Incompetence is the most generous explanation I can come up with. In any case, they earned the one star rating. As to your response, how can you say that theres no such thing as a bothersome but manageable coolant leak? I drove my car to your shop. Before you worked on it I had to spend $10 on a container of coolant whenever I filled the car with gas. The leak was so small that the leaking coolant never even made it to the ground. Thats what I call a bothersome but manageable coolant leak. You performed a pressure test to find the slow leak. After you performed the pressure test you said that my car was no longer drivable and that it needed to be towed or repaired. I told you that I was authorizing the $1800 of repairs just to get it drivable again. If you knew that the $1800 wouldnt make it drivable then why did you do them?I tried your shop because repairs at Bluff City Jaguar can be expensive and I wanted a small, inexpensive repair. I realize now that that was a mistake. Bluff City Jaguar may not be cheap, but can you imagine them drafting an insulting, sarcastic and unprofessional response like yours? Your unapologetic response says more than my review.
It’s absolutely hilarious watching this place try to explain it self in the all the one star reviews they have received. This place is full of horrible people that care about nothing more than money and them selves. The amount of stress they have left me with my car after paying 3300! Still can’t drive. I pray on the down fall of this business and that every one here suffers.
I had a few issues with this auto shop but David the new service manager is trying to make everything better. Definitely blown away and appreciate everything this gentleman is doing. If they fix what wasnt broke when they receive a vehicle and do the repairs in a timely manner what else could you ask for
Gave them a call to check an estimate and dude told me that he couldnt, that he had to take a look at the car in order to do so, to which i agreed.. (Already noticing a slight annoyance in his voice).. I tried to set an appointment by phone and he in a rude way told me to do it online.. I gave him thanks for his rudeness which he followed with a 15 second rant full of attitude on how he wasnt being rude and then rudely asked me not to set the appointment with his shop..
This business is Horrible !!!Horrible!!! The owner is a bad business man not professional at all!! He does not know how to speak to people and he lied about scratching my vehicle while in his possession! Drove my 2006 RR HSE in with 2 issues thought it was fixed when they called me to pick it up on a Friday 9/17/202 at closing time and found I had 3 new issues that I did not have b4. 3 of my windows did not roll down, screws missing under my hood that were there b4 . A scratch on my vehicle that was not there when i brought it in for a coolant leak .drove it home and it started beeping and flashing check coolant levels. Got home and there was no coolant in the Reservoir Omg this place is not a place i would recommend to nobody. Be warned DO NOT TAKE YOUR PREVIOUS VEHiCLE TO EURO OF MEMPHIS LOCATED AT 2699 broad ave memphis tn 38112. I too read the reviews and thought i wld give them a chance and i hated that i did.Very Very disappoi!!nted consumer
I recently got my 2008 Land Rover fixed here like two weeks ago I went because my car was over heating at random but not constantly. I got a diagnostic back and it said I was a 1800 repair. So I paid the money and got my car back in two weeks. when I got it back it was still doing the same thing . So I called and brought the car back up there. The guy said he didn’t see anything wrong. So the manager said bring the car back . They gave me the run around for about two days then I finally got a call saying that it was my alternator that needed fixing but that wasn’t on the original report. He also lied and said they did a second diagnosis the day I brought it back which was a lie because the guy never took my car to the back that day. I took my car to the dealership( Land Rover) and was told there was nothing wrong with my alternator that it was my fan. All this place do is lie and try to swindle people out there money . The service is poor and really expensive you will be better off going to the dealership instead of being swindled by people whom are money hungry and will not fix your problem and lie about it.
I highly recommend these trained technicians to work on any European model vehicle. They have the knowledge and professionalism to properly complete the job! Thank you Euro Imports of Memphis!
It took entirely to long to fix. The bill was 2600 and the car still fell like its having brake problem. UPDATED CAR IS HAVING WOSER BRAKE PROBLEM. BEFORE I ONLY HAD A SIMPILE ISSUE THEY CLAIM THEY REPLACE MY ENTIRE BRAKE LINE IF THEY DID SO IM SURE THEY DID SO WITH USED PARTS DO NOT BRING VOLKSWAGEN CC HERE
Serviced my car for ten percent less than Audi would. I recommend this company to anyone.
They kept my car for 16 days without notifying me of anything. Then on the 17 day they called to tell me they couldnt repair the vehicle and I owe $270. They did not put all car parts back as they were and they were not professional at all.
Best place in town to take your foreign vehicle for service!
They charge me $6,000 to change a compressor for my suspension system and it’s still doesn’t work then they tried to charge me another $175 when I took it right back to them the same week PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE
This place is a RIPOFF! This place had my car overnight and left it parked outside and someone damaged my passenger side door. I spoke to the owner about repairing the damages and he told me that their insurance company would be in touch. Its been three weeks and still no word from the insurance company or the owner. I called owner 3 times since last week and still no response, even after I had to pay $1200 to get my car back. SMFH!
I always go here for any repairs I need. The mechanic is very knowledgeable of foreign cars and takes care of me every time. Would recommend him before going to the dealership
Euro imports always take care of my vehicle. I have been a customer since 2016. He and his crew take great pride on providing excellent for customers and less expensive than the dealerships.
Very professional and highly skilled on European vehicles. They work like a dealership, but treat the customer better and at a reasonable price
They were awesome I will be going back.
My experience was impecable. The service technician was very knowledgable.
They did a great job on my BMW, originally went to the dealer to get it fixed but got a estimate from Euro and they were a much better value.
The owner and his crew really took care of my 2013 Audi A6. They did a great maintenance job and gave me the best detail job I’ve ever seen on it. Usually I go to the dealer, but I’m going to Euro from now on.
I Purchased a used Land Rover Discovery 2 from Euro Imports and had the engine totally rebuilt, steel bumpers installed with a 2 inch lift and oversized tires. This thing is a beast! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to touch my Land Rover.
Unprofessional and failure to communicate properly. Waste of time 👎🏽
Livingston and his crew are experts in the field of repairing European vehicles. Amazing troubleshooting abilities. Highly technical and proficient. They are extraordinarily professional and take great pride in their work. Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Mercedes, Ferrari, you name it. They know it. Highly recommended!
Brought my BMW E39 in for a check up, expecting to hear back by the end of the week. After ten days passed, I called and was told to wait for a call back. Three days later I got a call saying my car keys had been lost, and had been lost for two weeks at that point. It took another week to get the keys, and then another week for the diagnostics to be finished. A month in total for a check up.When I went to pick up the car, I was told the key replacement would be free of charge and that some diagnostic work had also been performed free of charge. As I would find out, I was charged ($220) for diagnostics, exactly the cost of the key. The free diagnostic was rather just a quote to replace the whole headlight assembly, rather than looking for the particular faulty piece. A $500 quote as opposed to a $75 replacement. On my drive home, I noticed my A pillars were broken and would not reattach to the headliner. I called the shop and was told to wait for a call back; four months later and I still have not received a call. Additionally, the pocket knife in the center console (a past present from graduation) is missing. That being said, it seems the owner is knowledgeable and experienced in maintaining luxury vehicles. The diagnosis performed there was confirmed accurate by the next shop I went too (except for the headlight quote), and the free car wash was also nice. However, I will not be returning there.
Called about a part I was interested in that they had advertised on their web site. Spoke to someone that i could barely understand. He told me that he would email me AND call me to to confirm the order....never did. I was skeptical at first after reading their reviews about doing business with these guys and now my munch has paid off. Maybe youll have better luck
I have been a customer for several years and it is the professional service and quality that keep me coming back. I can always trust Livingston and his employees to take pride in their work and diagnosis what the problem is. I like the fact that you get a written estimate of what is wrong, I have even compared prices with other places and the prices are about the same or better. The work is prompt and I like the friendly environment. I will continue to have my cars serviced at Euro Imports.
Stay Away From This Place At All Cost!!!!! Went to have an oil changed and brake job done and was told it would be a couple days. Got a call after two days with a quote of $3600. Called and asked about estimate and was told thats what needed to be done to car, but the labor cost was more than parts. Any way after informing the owner that I would only like for the oil to be changed, his whole attitude changed and he told me that the oil changed would be $700 because the diagnostic took 2 hours, which was $300 and that it doesnt go towards the cost of oil change. If you go to this place for service beware of the undisclosed cost of the diagnostic for your car. They dont tell you that, until after they have your car.
I’m currently on hold with this business. Called for a quote on computer diagnostics for my BMW X5. Woman answered but I could not understand what she was trying to explain so I asked my same question again she kindly put me on hold. After about 5 minutes on hold I finally decided to call back. This time I told the woman I could not understand her and she adjusted something and I could hear her clearly. My question was answered...excellent rates-the lowest out of the three places I contacted for computer diagnostics.
I have a 2006 Land Rover LR3 with a lot of miles on it. I’ve had it repaired here several times for different issues. I’m very happy with their work. Friendly, professional, and they do good work.
The service was excellent.
Very unprofessional!!!!!! I called to inquire about repairs and the man was very rude and over talked me as I tried to explain what I was experiencing with MY vehicle. He goes on to ask if I was a mechanic because I know a lot about my car! When I told him I wasn’t his customer services skills and the lack thereof made me not want to take my vehicle to him to be serviced. He rudely told me mam I charge $145 for diagnostics fee that does not go towards service! He also stated he can’t disclose any prices until after he looks at my vehicle. Sounds very skeptical about the cost because it sounds to me as if instead of providing a estimate or what have you, he wants to over charge! He was very rude and talked over me as I tried to explain my card symptoms to him! He was even bold enough to say to me you don’t tell me what the car needs !So basically I will refrain from patronizing here!!!!!!Period!!!!!!
Great service. The ladies in the office are very friendly. Also the owner (Livingston) knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable and down to earth guy. I appreciate the quality service on my SL500.
Great people. The technician who worked on my vehicle was professional and experienced. Kept giving me updates through out the process. Will definitely recommend this car shop to a friend
I first took my Range Rover to Euroimports last year to have my air compressor replaced.I was so satisfied with the work that I’m back again to get my Master Cylinder replaced. It has been a great experience working with Livingston and his team.-Tony H.
I recently bought a 2012 Mercedes c300. On 8/30/2018, I took the car to Euro Imports for transmission service. On 9/05/2018, I was heading downtown when I noticed the transmission was not shifting properly. I then pulled into Coleman Taylor Transmission on Union Ave. to have them diagnose the problem. This is what was stated on their report:“VEHICAL WAS BROUGHT IN WITH THE FOLLOWING CODES: P0894, P0733, P0734, ALL RELATED TO SLIPPING IN TRNASMISSION. UPON INSPECTION, FOUND FILL PLUG LOOSE AND DRIPPING FLUID. WAS 3 QUARTS LOW, AND FILLED WITH DEALER FLUID.I could have driven the car back to Euro Imports but didn’t want to risk damaging the transmission knowing it was low on fluid. Thankfully the transmission was not damaged and Coleman Taylor only charged $28.50 for the labor, while I provided the fluid from Mercedes. I was charged over $600 by Euro Imports for their incompetent service.Robert Freeman
15,000 mile Service for my wifes 2011 Jaguar. I appreciate that they took the time to estimate the work and call me with the estimate before doing the work.
Excellent quality service
Repaired my Mercedes quickly and correctly. Would use again.
Some Arab sounding guy on the phone. Called about a brake job 3 weeks ago when I planned on visiting the area, but later cancelled plans. Called today and the guy apparently remembers me (business is slow?)And boy oh boy did he sound mad that I called him twice for a quote. Not that care, obviously the guy is hates his life, after all hes a car mechanic. Anyways, apparently this kid want the same price for a brake job as the Land Rover dealership and get this, he uses aftermarket parts. And when I asked him what brand he said I cant tell you that LOLPASS
I took my twin brother to pick up his car that sat there for three weeks for a simple diagnostic. Turns out the diagnostic couldnt be performed because of the battery and they had to put in a Ferrari battery on his Audi Q7 for no reason at all because they still werent able to figure it out. Once they figured it out they were trying to replace all these sensors with aftermarket ones and charge as if they were factory ($2,500.00 was the total). Everything was fine up until he called up my brother with the dirtiest attitude and told him that he would charge him 45 dollars extra per day if he didnt pick up the car that same day. My brother was raging and I told him to calm down. I took him to the shop and my brother was being a little bitter with the owner (nothing bad just short and ready to hand out some money and move on with his broken ca) after waiting for about 20 minutes I decided to go outside to smoke a cigarette...... big mistake, Im out in the parking lot smoking a cigarette and I start walking around just looking at the shop and the cars and what not... Distracting myself when all of the sudden Im standing in front of the left hand side of the entrance to the shop and I noticed some kind of stainless steel bolt sticking out of the wall and looked at it, touched it and there was a chain hanging from it that pretty much blocked the entrance/exit of their garage. I kept on smoking and being curious, next thing I know, Dude comes up to me to tell me that I cannot smoke around the building and I comply to his request but as Im walking away he tells me to stop sizing up his building to try and brake in later on in life!!!!! I honestly got ignited and went off on him, he told me not to use profanity around him, ignition went off again, he asked me why I was being so hostile while ordering me off the parking lot and I said because you are calling me a thief when in reality I could care less about your business, he said then what are you doing her? I replied, Im here to drop off some money for you and this is how you treat your costumers and his reply was I dont need your money so go on and I said ok just give the Q7 that I came to pick up and F... off. He went inside to complaint to my brother about my attitude but I had already told my brother what had happened and my brothers reply was well why did you say he was here to rob you, LOL, he said he never said that and my brother didnt pursuit it after that. Bottom line is, he thinks that because he works on imports he can own anybody in and around his business and he is so schizophrenic about stuff that he cannot see farther than his nose. I wish he would come to eat at my family restaurant and have him be treated the way he treats people..... My familys restaurant has been the number one Mexican restaurant in Memphis for the past few years, Yet, me nor my family go around denigrating people or ordering people around even though they are customers..... I have never wrote a review before but this time it was worthy of my time to do so. He needs to learn he is not working elsewhere other than the US and things here are done differently than his country of Origin which I doubt is Britain......
The owner is very rude. He was irritated when I spoke to him on phone. Said I have already spoken to you! I am sick of talking to you! Then he hung up on me. I will never get my car serviced with them nor will I recommend them to anyone.
My experience with Euro Imports has been excellent. They take very good car of my 2010 Jaquar XF everytime I need services. They are very professional and I love doing business with them. Thanks for all you do. - Tracy Ratliff and Tranisia Williams
Great Job on servicing my 750li BMW!
I am 12 but plan on buying a ferrari here soon
Very unprofessional and dishonest!!!
Understanding
This place is so unprofessional and they have some nasty attitudes. I wouldnt dare leave my vehicle at this place. The man came out the shop into the office with an attitude he didnt even greet me and wouldnt give me the opportunity to explain what was going on with my vehicle he would continue to cut me off and say we are the technicians we will tell you whats wrong with your vehicle. Who takes a vehicle to a shop and they dont ask you what is going on with the vehicle. And then told me that there would be a $500 diagnostic and the dealership dont even charge that, like another review said they are all about the money not the care of people in their vehicles. I do not recommend this shop to anyone not even a dog.
