Absolutely the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE IN my life!!My 2020 Kia OPTIMA was towed there by roadside assistance against my better judgment even after they gave me no choice.Expecting a Loaner, I have been given the run around for 10 days!! I LIVE in rural Mississippi and made the decision to purchase WHAT I thought was a dependable vehicle, and on sub par wages making it check to check, I find myself at the mercy of POOR MANAGEMENT AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Hitchhiking to work and still paying a full car note as Kia tries to figure out whats the PROBLEM!! DONT PUNISH ME THE CUSTOMER!!!Fix YOUR SYSTEM!!There is no way you are gonna tell me you cant find a LOANER VEHICLE OR A DECENT RENTAL VEHICLE UNTIL I GET my car back
Came in to get a oil change about a month and half ago on my wife car. Told them I was losing oil.. They said something was loose and they tighten it. Ok!! So present Im still losing oil. Come in today June 12 at 7 on the day of my aunt funeral. Four hours later still sitting and waiting.. Im 3,000 miles good from needing a oil change Funeral started at 11 wow!When I called to try to make a appointment they said they were booked for a month. This is not cooled to be stuck on Saturday..
Bought a car from here a year ago and it has been the worst car i have ever owned . Since day one i have been having issues with the electrical system and i brought that to my salesmans attention deondre curtis and he kept saying that it just might be the battery . Well 3 new batteries later and over a thousand dollars on diagnostics from them and im still having issues . Plus he pressures people into buyimg cars and is full of lies would say anything just to make you buy what he wants you to and very unprofessional and flirtatious with customers even asked if he can take me out . Never again !!!!

Just a heads up. If you make an appointment, its pointless... had an oil change scheduled at 3... Show up at 2:30 just to be prompt. Said they would get to it when they can. Waited till 4:00 and they just took my car back... whats the point of an appointment if you just throw me in line with the walk ins??? Also the reason Im getting my oil changed is because last time I was at their sister dealership, GOSSET KIA (a couple of weeks ago), I noticed they didnt change the oil, just added more... a week after I got it changed, I went to go check my oil and it was twice as full as it was supposed to be, and the oil was very dark (unusual for just having changed it a week ago) which makes me think they didnt change it, they just added more... 🙃 just saying you might be better off just going somewhere else or doing it yourself... definitely dont want my engine ruined because of their neglect...
Update as of September 1st 2021*I have not been seen for my issue I am helping with the UVO link. The tech support from UVO sent out an email to the service center yet they axt like they did not get it and they also told me that they have no one there that knows how to fix it. This is really frustrating if they had made sure it was on my car when it first arrived this would not be an issue. I am paying for a service that I can not use!**I got my car from here my experience with the sales was fantastic. Im complaint is the service. My car was supposed to come with the UVO link. I paid for the Safety package so it came with it.. Well apparently these people didnt even bother to make sure the vehicle was updated and was ready go. I called the UVO customer service and was told that I have to take it back to the dealership so they can do a reset on it and that shouldnt take that long. Well today is the day of my appointment and I got a call saying I need to either reschedule because THEY are all backed up and can service me or leave me car with them overnight and hope that that they can squeeze me in for the next day. I scheduled this weeks ago and they still are having issues getting to everyone? Um yeah no. I even called the other location on Covington Pike and no one answered. Im not sure whats going on here but its really disheartening being a first time car buyer. Again, my salesperson was amazing. Its the Kia Service that needs some serious work.
I purchased my vehicle brand new here in 2016 and have come here for all of my car service needs ever since however, my most recent visit has been by far the worst experience with customer service Ive ever had with them! I brought my car in for a tail light issue and decided to wait with my car although I was advised it would take a minute to get the issue diagnosed and ultimately repaired. I didnt have a choice so I let them know I would wait. Long story short... I waited in the customer lobby for seven hours only to find out my car had been ready to go about 2 hours after my arrival! I only found this out because I saw a manager in the lobby by chance and decided to ask about my vehicle and the extremely long wait time. He said hed check on it and returned with my service advisor who I had never even spoken to during that day while my repair work was being performed. They both acted as if it was my fault for not listening to a voicemail the service advisor supposedly left on my phone which, I never saw by the way and even claimed to have come into the lobby and called my name twice! He said I must have been in the restroom on both occassions which, I was not because I never left my seat until the final hour that I was there! In hindsight, I realized I had watched this person who was supposedly my service advisor sit at his desk most of the day as I was sitting in lobby at an angle where I could see him perfectly. He came into the lobby a couple of times to call others or advise them on their vehicles progress he even came in and got a sprite out of the vending machine which was directly in front of me. He and many others walked past me multiple times that day and no one ever asked me had I been helped or why I had been there so long! In the end the manager sided with the employee for the most part saying he verified that a call was made to my cellphone that morning when the car ready and condescendingly offered me a free car wash on my next service visit! Needless to say that was an unsatisfactory outcome!😡
Ive had great Experience at Kia. Ive been a customer since 2014. Ive bought 3 cars from them. My friend has purchased 2 from them. We like new cars. Lol! But yes the team has excellent service. My husband and I went to Gossett South looking for a Telluride. However, they are hard to come by. Tyreese showed us the 2021 Kia Sorento Prestige. What a beautiful car! It has all of the bells and whistles at a much less cost. We never felt pressured to buy. Tyreese told us facts about the car and left the decision making to us. The trade and transaction to buy was seamless. Craig in finance is also amazing to work with! From beginning to end we were treated with respect, and I have to say, this was probably the best car buying experience we have ever had! Ive never felt so ignored by a dealership that Im literally ready to purchase from. We looked at new tellurides and had to seek out a salesman to even assist us, while others walked around ignoring us. We are literally ready to purchase and I cant even get a sales manager to call me back. Ive never seen anything like it. They are literally going to make me buy a Toyota because if this is the service before Ive even bought the car, Id hate to see it after they already have the sale...

Slowest service Ive ever experienced. Aside from taking forever to work on the vehicle for the simplest thing they will often pull your car to the front and it will be an additional 30mins before they tell you its ready.

Kia Gossett on Mt Moriah has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a dealership. My engine went out and they checked it out. It was fixed and I was back up and rolling within a week in a half or two. Mario Nolan is the best!! He kept me up on any issues that the car had and all. Thanks to Bryson Green also for referring me to Mario. Keep up the excellent work guys & Kia Gossett take care of your good workers! We don’t have those type of people around in these times..

Drove over 2 hours, had an appointment to see a particular vehicle. Get there only to be told they don’t have it. Should have known better this is the second time the lady from internet sales has told me they have it when they don’t.

Picked up the phone on speaker with customer around him.... when i asked him to take me off speaker because I couldnt hear him and I dont do business like that.. he told me to call back in an hour... I took my Sorento in for Scheduled service for multi point inspection. Have used service dept several times in past and been pleased. This time, I had a light On the dashboard showing (emissions control). After i picked up my car, I noticed it was still on. I called my advisor and asked him if they checked on it and he told me that if it’s not part of the multi point inspection, they don’t check on it and I’ll have to bring it back in for diagnostics. Seems like they should’ve checked on it. I didn’t mention it but I would’ve thought they would’ve looked at any lights on the dashboard and at least called me about it.
We had a flat tire on a road trip. They end up fitting us in after waiting on hour on the phone for an appointment. We got there and it took three hours to get our one tire changed. I even offered to elevate my car for them…

I purchased a 2020 Kia Sportage from Gossett Kia on yesterday, and my experience was amazing!! Ebony & Barbara both were fantastic! Ebony was my salesman. She was so polite and very patient. She was not pushy at all like most care salesman are (which is why I hate going to dealerships). So, thank goodness for that! She was super informative and had great customer service skills. She is amazing! She’s the bomb and I HIGHLY recommend her!!! She made my experience the best experience ever!! Ask for Ebony!! She works at Gossett Kia and Hyundai at the Mt. Moriah location.

My car has been in the service center since September 8th, the engine was replaced earlier this year, got it back at the end of May and now it is damaged again because of issues related to the recall. I don’t have any updates on my car, I get forwarded to voicemail every time I call, I’m paying on a car that is broken and I haven’t been given a rental much less any updates!! I’m one of the most understanding people you’ll ever meet but I’m at the end of my patience with this situation.

Very professional on the phone as well as in person. I dropped my car off in the morning. They called me when it was done. Great experience I would recommend to anyone who owns a Kia or any vehicle that needs service. Kudos to Mike who I spoke with and met, he was courteous and professional and made sure I understood exactly what service’s my car needed.
Mike is the best in the service department at Mt. Moriah, KIA. He is personable,courteous and knowledgeable. He explains everything so well about what is needed to keep my car in good condition. Was looking to purchase a Stinger GT w/o all the options.Gossett didnt have one in stock but they were able to find on in Ga. and less than 24hrs later it was on the lot ready for me to pick up.Rick James was great to work with.Everything I requested was done. Great experience.
Just wish I could go here one day and not have an issue with the service department! Every visit I have some addition issues that wasnt planned... like today they forgot to balance my tires, after Ive paid for the service! Love my car not to fund of the service!

I do question, though, signing documents in the finance department without ample time to read what I am signing. All customers should get copies of all documents signed. Even before signing, documents should be available online for review.

This was my first visit where I was met by Mike Hawkins. Mr. H was very helpful and most considerate. I was especially impressed with the mechanic -Seth- that looked into my engine problem. His knowledge and analysis of the problem was most impressive. I should like to use him in the future should I have further problems with my vehicle.
My wife and I have taken our new 2016 Kia Optima to this location for service multiple times and we have received the poorest service! We took the car for a simple oil change on a Saturday and they told us we would have to come back because they couldnt get to it and we didnt even receive a phone call we had to call them. We took the car back up there to get it changed and they said they changed it but the oil was still dark brown and they didnt even have the sense to put a new sticker on the window saying it was changed. We also have a problem with our car not starting and the car just randomly shutting off and still they say they cant duplicate the issue please dont go to James or Mike in this service department you will not have a good experience!
Customer experience was great because of Tony Gray despite the many huddles we jumped through and a week long process. We ended getting a kia soul 2016. It seemed like forever with additional paperwork and the price going up and going down, and then coming in and the computer system was down after 3 hours of sitting there. I am glad we were working with Tony because it made difference with his customer service skills.
Need a nice care, you have to go here. They really took care of us and made sure we were happy with our new purchase.

Aggressive sales people but I got a good deal. The Service Dept. does not honor the Power Train or Hyundai Assurance Bumper to Bumper Warranty even if you have well under 100,000mi. After calling another mechanic and my attorney Ill never refer anyone to Gossett on Mtmoriah.
Been taking my car to get Service since 2017 at this location. No complaints on the service.But CUSTOMER SERVICE from Danny ALWAYS be very RUDE! You can make a appointment & still have to wait 4 hours for your vehicle. The wait comes from Danny to handle your paperwork because the service only take 30mins depending on the service! (A basic oil change) he literally sit there taking calls finish up doing NOTHING until he decides to finish your paperwork ESPECIALLY when he feels you are in a rush! I waited an additional 30-45 mins today after my car came from the back which I was already waiting 2 hours prior!! Very poor customer service!
James Anderson worked on my car several times since the car was purchased. He has done excellent service every time. I strongly recommend him for anyone else who needs servicing on their car.

Amazing Customer Service! I should have written this post a while ago. I went to the dealership just minutes before they were closing. (I leased a Kia last spring in St. Louis and then moved to Memphis and didnt have any mechanic, etc. contacts here). Air had been leaking out of my tire after refilling it multiple times, and I was annoyed. I wish I had written down the names of the individuals that helped me, but they went out of their way to quickly patch up my problem and proceeded to fill ALL of my tires up and test them out before I left. They didnt even charge me. I easily could have been conned and thinking I needed to purchase a new tire, but these guys were honest, helpful, and quick. Will definitely go back with any future needs.
Kia South was great. Took my car in for a oil change and tire rotation. Received a call 30 minutes later that my car was ready to be picked up. Kevin was at the service desk and handled getting my car serviced and did a great job.

Gosset Kia South has a costumer for life in me! I recently bought a 2016 Kia Soul from a different dealer (10 days ago) and found out it was leaking oil from the engine on Friday! In a panic, I took it to Gosset South where they checked it out quickly! Even without an appointment they squeezed me in to their busy day. The service manager Bob even called the dealership where the Kia was bought from, to try to get their service records as this was clearly not a new problem. He calmed me down and walked me through the steps to fix my car. I was able to make an appointment the follow Monday morning to fix my oil leak. When the original dealership where I bought my car made me feel like a bother, this dealership clearly valued me! I will definitely be telling all my friends and family to check them out for future service and new cars.
