Complete scam go else where or just ride the MATA bus, they sold my mom a 2015 Kia Soul EV for $500 a month & the vehicle can only charge to 30 miles after a 24hr charge period. We told them about the issue and the told us to bing in the car which we did shorty after the conversation. after 4days with no contact for the dealer, we called them & they told us that they couldnt fix the vehicle and that we had to come out of pocket to get it shipped to another state which is insane. they sold us a vehicle they knew wasnt working properly and they knew that they couldnt fix & arent certified to fix on the vehicle they sold. they still call asking for the note money, but when we ask for the car to be repaired they hangup and they no lone take our phone calls. its difficult to obtain $500 when your only means of transportation is unusable and the company wont help fix the issue . they also dropped her credit score from a 714 to a 458, this has been a complete nightmare please stay far away from these people if your a lawyer please contact me.

I have been taking my car here for several years and Danny is always professional and honest. Great team at this location!

Annette Austin is the woman you want to see! I’m a 20 yr old first time car buyer and I was extremely nervous about the process. She made me feel like family and helped me through the entire process. You can tell she genuinely cares about getting you the best offer for the car of your dreams. I left the lot in a 2021 Kia Rio with an extremely affordable monthly car note. I came in around 3 pm 5/13 and drove away at around 11 am on 5/14. She’s amazing and she’s quick! She worked her magic for sure. I would definitely recommend seeing Annette for your car buying needs!

This was my first Kia I have purchased. From the moment I arrived at the dealer, I was greeted by one of the salesmen, Quincy Odom. He was very polite and professional. He made sure if there was anything I needed. I also met one of the other guys(I forgot his name)who went over the warranties with me. He, too, was also professional and nice. Just about everybody I talked to(in person and over the phone)was nice. So that really made me feel welcomed. Once I picked out the car(2021 Soul)I wanted, Mr. Odom was patient enough to show me how things worked. I am still satisfied with my car. I love it so much. I am actually looking forward to coming back to get it serviced!

Got here for my service appointment at 11am for replacements on two recalled parts on my Kia Sportage. I was told from the guy who checked me in that it should just take a couple of hours. Fast forward to sitting in the waiting room for 3 and a half hours I got up to ask the same person how much longer it would take. He went to check and came back to tell me that it will have to stay over night. I feel like this is something they should have told me from the start so I wasnt wasting my day sitting in their waiting room. Im sure they would have let me sit there all day if I did not get up and ask. They also offered a guy waiting next to me a car to go get him lunch because they made the same mistake with him. Poor communication all around.

After an hour of running around getting proof of her salary, school stats, employment, past 3 months of work checks deposited, ...... we are told she needed a down payment of 50% of the cars list price in order to make it happen. Quick and efficient service, service rep escorted me to my car when ready. Upgrade was a Kia service bulletin (like a recall), so there was no charge. I purchased my 2017 Sorento at Gossett Covington Pike, and it is still under warranty. I appreciate the long warranty on Kia and Hyundai products.

RUDE, incompetent, and unprofessional! Don’t waste your time. I paid to get an issue fixed and they still haven’t fixed it. I was told something needed to be replaced and they replaced it. They charged me for the manual work and parts. I left and had to bring the car back a day later so then they said I needed a tune and tried to charge me again. I’m still having the issue so the issue has still not been fixed after the tune up. Horrible service

She was so patient and helped us put our car seats into prospective vehicles to make sure they fit. Trenton went to the Detail Department and discussed my car problem with Jonathan (head of the department). Jonathan came out and looked at the problem. Brandon Walls is a superstar! I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation and it was done super fast. I brought a coupon in from the website and Brandon found one that had a little better deal and gave me that one instead. That little extra mile was great customer service. Poor customer service the representatives there are so unprofessional. I drop my 2012 Kia Optima there exactly one month and one week ago I have not have any realistic progress of my vehicle and they also had my 2012 Kia Optima under a different persons name. I was so afraid that someone took my car because they could not even find my name in the system. I was told that I would receive a rental car up to 4 weeks when I drop my car off and I have yet to have a rental which means I have no liable way to my job or to my school. I am live in Alabama and I am having to stay with my great grandmother in Byhalia Mississippi until my car is ready. I can not go to work to pay my bills because Kia motors service department on Covington pike has yet to issue me a rental car. When I drop my car off I was told I was number 43 in line, the most current call I have received about the progress of my car was that I was number 3 but yet my car still has not been diagnosed to confirm that the recall is from the engine . I check on my car Friday of December 18th and my brakes are rusted from sitting parked for a month and counting . Another Kia Optima that has been there for as long as mines tires are flat and losing air from sitting in the parking lot . When you try to call your personal representative you will have to wait almost 10 minutes to get in touch with him and that is if he is in the office . I have left voicemails for managers and supervisors at the Covington like service department of Kia motors and still no one has reach out to me for the incidents that have occurred since I drop my 2012 Kia Optima there 1 month and 1 week ago . I’m not sure if any one that has drop there car off for a recall for the engine there for a Kia Optima are having similar problems with the service department but I can speak for myself this is the most unprofessional service department I have ever dropped my car to be serviced. please do GOOD AND TIMELY research of all service departments before you drop your vehicle I AM HOPING MY 2012 Kia Optima will be ready or that Kia services on Covington pike will issue me a rental so I can GO TO WORK AND PAY MY BILLS .. very dissatisfied

I bought a brand new kia sedona from these people in 2018. Two weeks ago, my van just stopped working. I had to have it towed to them so that they could fix it since its covered under warranty. My van has 25,000 miles on it. They have had my van for 2 weeks now and just told me that they havent even looked at my van. How does it take 2 weeks to look at a vehicle??! The only response I get from them is that they are behind. Maybe they should consider hiring more people/working over time to get the job done. I will be trading my van in for another vehicle (not kia) as soon as I am able to. Never buying another Kia again!

Purchased May 2019 was great. Did everything online and used banks truecar so purchase was very smooth (sales and financing, everything was preapproved so in and out less than 40 min).Service so far has been good and 1 repair during winter snow has been good. Brandon, service writer, smooth as ice, follows up with me, everything I ask is completed.Will say, with KIA wanting to overhaul their brand, this store needs an update. Its not the 90s anymore. Want to attract a bigger audience, lets make the place look better instead of some Cold War era military like building with bland everything. Absolutely disgusted with this dealership. I dropped off my vehicle on NOV 21 it is now 11 WEEKS since then and I have not even got a diagnosis. I bought a scanner before I dropped off the vehicle and got the codes that said what was wrong with the car. The engine is covered under a class action lawsuit to replace the engine. Which Kia is supposed to replace the engine and provide me with a rental. Again it has been 11 weeks and I have no information on a diagnosis. I have called well over 10 times and even spoke to the manager who said he would call me back with an update which he never did. They say the sent a request to Kia on dec 30 I had to get there number and was told they had no case# even the nice lady I spoke with was appalled they had had it that long and personally was going to call them on my behalf. I can’t work because I have no mode of transportation. I have a job where I drive close to 1k miles in a week often. This dealership has contributed to me struggling to provide for my family. I am now seeking legal advice for what has happen to me AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

One of the worst customer service!! The technicians and store manager and the executive does not know how to value a customer. Giving misleading information each time and the car was in the shop for inspection since Tuesday by appointment only and now Friday evening no one called me with a quote and whenever I am calling them saying differing stories about my car. Such an ridiculous experience.I appreciate your reply but please note that as I was not sure when I would get back the car as there no proper time frame so when I went to get the car back on last Friday itself. I was surprised even more because Mr. Mike just handed over the car key to me without even discussing me or talking to me on the car issue or what went wrong with the car and it seemed to me no one did ever take a look at the car and when I asked where is the car they did not even had that much of a customer service to show me where the car is parked in that vast lot only saying it’s somewhere in the middle lot ...How strange and I never experienced such before!!

They love to be friendly to sell a car, but that is where it stops. Their service department is horrible. Tried 3 days in a row to get an oil change since only the dealership can do an oil change on a K5. Not one call back, and not 1 person picks up the phone. And they tried to sell me their oil change package when I bought the vehicle. I will find another Kia dealership to do the oil changes until another business can do them.

I took my vehicle there for repairs. It took 4 days, I got it back and drove home which was 100 miles away. A day or so later it broke down from the same thing that was repaired. I had it towed back to the dealership because it was under their repair warranty. They were supposed to send me an authorization form to sign so they can work on the vehicle. I havent gotten it yet. They wont return my calls. Both managers mike and Jason tripp and Ive yet to hear from them. This is the most unprofessional department Ive seen. This dealership is very nice when youre purchasing a vehicle but horrible when it comes to service and communication. I see the owner respons to all of the 1 star reviews but has yet to fix the issues with his service department. As a retired soldier that held numerous leadership roles, I recognize that poor higher level management is the reason the intermediate managers are allowed to be substandard.

Absolutely awful service department. I made an appointment for 8 a.m. but when I got there, they said Id have a 2+ hour wait for an OIL CHANGE. Another customer behind me had an appointment as well and was told the same thing. The reason we were given was, We just have a lot of cars back there right now. Why take appointments if you either overbook or take walk-ins ahead of appointments?? I will NEVER be back.

This review is based on multiple experiences over two years with the service department at the Covington Pike location, although I’ve also had terrible service at the other location as well. There’s so much I could say, but most importantly, they just don’t care about you. I’ve refrained from giving a negative review for a long time believing that the bad experience I was having was a mistake, but they are consistent at giving poor service and being apathetic about it. Therefore, the message I’ve been receiving is pretty clear: they don’t care.

I have had several experiences with Gossett Kia, none of them positive. First I had a tire needed fixing, they said it was bad and had to order one, two weeks later they put the tire on the wrong side, long story short they did the same thing two more times. Recently there was a factory recall, made an appointment took the car in sign in and found out the part was not there. I know stuff happens but to me this is just very poor service and should be addressed right away.

Friendly check-in, well-informed of what would happen with my vehicle being serviced, introduced to amenities in the waiting area, told how long the service would likely take, and surprised when it was finished in half the anticipated time. This is by far the worst experience at a dealership I have ever had. About a year and a half ago when my Kia Soul had about 55,000 miles on it, my car completely ran out of oil after only driving about 1,000 miles after a change. I took it to them and was told an oil consumption test was needed to be done. For about 6 months I came back every few weeks for them to check the oil. Sometimes it would be low and sometimes it would be normal. All I was told is that this amount of oil burn off was normal and I would just have to deal with checking the oil myself and adding more if it got low. No more problems besides oil burn off the last year until last Saturday 01/02/2021. On my way to work, I was accelerating up to 70 while merging onto the highway. I noticed I couldnt get up to the desired speed so I tried to accelerate even more. My RPMs maxed out, the engine light came on, and I still couldnt get up to 70 . I drove slowly the rest of the way to work and a family member came to pick it up to take in. A few days later the car was fixed and they charged us $600 for the repair. Took it out on the highway and the same acceleration problem occurred. So it was immediately taken back. The second time it was repaired they said it was a different problem and there was no charge. Once again, took it out on the highway and the same problem occurred. Here is the best part, since they will have to do another more in depth test they charged another $140 after failing to fix the problem twice. Currently, they are still trying to figure out what is actually wrong but this is ridiculous. Over the past two years, every time a problem occurs and I take my car in, the person who was dealing with it had quit and someone completely new is there. If so many people constantly leave, something must be wrong. Do yourself a favor and take your business anywhere else.

Low pressure salesmen. I would definitely feel comfortable going alone as a woman. Which is to say that I don’t think they would try to take advantage of you because you are a woman. My husband recently bought a sports car from them straight off the show room floor. He was very nervous about it because he had never bought a new car by himself before. Adulting is hard. I already own a Kia from a different dealership and also had a good experience. Maybe just a coincidence or the brand makes sure the experience of buying their car isn’t so scary or painful. We had started at another dealership with another brand and the experience was not great. But they took care of us from the time we called to make sure they actually had the car we were looking at to after we signed the sales ticket. I’m really pleased with the purchase and after the terrible experience at the other dealership I think they cemented our brand loyalty to Kia. When the time comes they will be my first choice for a new car.

Today, was a wasted trip. Got to the dealership before it opened for service because I needed an oil change only to be told they are appointment only. Since, when?. However, there were no 7:00 appointments there. I got an excuse about them having to finish up work from yesterday. Then, I was told to comeback Friday. Then, he said come back Saturday at 6:20. This is second time in recent weeks I have had a poor experience with this location. I have purchased two vehicles from Gossett. This is the last vehicle I purchased from them. Then, he said I promise you I want to help you. Im short staffed he said. Im the consumer and this was second time I was turned away. One man took my keys and was ready to help me then, he started to put on this dog and pony show. Therefore, it let me know it was all lies. If we dont come to the service department then you wont have the revenue to keep your staff.

I had a vehicle repair done there for 1900 dollars, 2 days later the vehicle completely broke down from the repair performed. I had to tow it 90 miles back to kia. They need an authorization form to start repairs, I have called 10 plus times to have the form emailed. I havent had one call back or email sent in two plus days. Very unprofessional and services are not reliable. The next step will be getting an attorney03/25/2021 dont be fooled by the owners reply. My vehicle has been there since 16th of March. The only progress I have recieved is pictures on the 22nd. Still being lied too by Mike and Morgan from the service department. I have recieved only one returned call and one one text throughout the duration. I have and will continue to document every interaction with this company.every conversatio

Gossett Kia Mt. Moriah service department customer service communication is not reliable and forthcoming with information. I was contacted to pick up my vehicle and was not provided the correct information. I was completelyand totally inconvenienced; however, when I arrived I was presented with rude customer service, this by far the worst dealership that I have ever had to deal with and I dread having to engage this location, so I am going to have to drive miles out of the way, due to the fact that I am totally dissatisfied with the level of customer service rendered at this location.As this vehicle is for my daughter, I am highly dissatisfied with this location all together.

I was referred to Quincy Odom from my uncle that had done business with him and thought I should give him a call. Wow 🤩 !! I called, and Quincy delivered💯. After having a co-signer on my previous 2018 Buick Encore, credit could’ve been better and zero down he delivered!!! 😊 I’m so happy in my NEW 2020 Kia Sorento (which they had to take it off the showcase floor room) I was speechless! From the time I parked my Buick and walked in I was “treated like family” from the managers, staff and Quincy himself. I came home, told my family and now my niece will be buying from Quincy as well. I brought a Kia that has so many recall its a 2014 Kia Optima. I am on my 3rd motor. This place is the most crappiest place you can go to get service work. One time I took my car in for a recall on the motor I was denied the work. I took it to Mt. Moriah and the fixed the problem no charge. I take my car in for a loose gas cap code and I was told the work will be about $500 to get done. I get my car back the lights still is on. I called n was told go buy a $25 dollar gas cap. If that was the problem at first why charge me $500 for other repairs? Mt. Moriah is the best place to go for service. They are more professional and are willing to work with you.

The car buying experience was seamless. Quincy sold me my 14 Hyundai sonata back in sept. I came in to get my first oil change at kia and after I waited 30 mins i was told I had to go to the Hyundai service dept across the lot. I get there there was nobody at the desk in the garage area. I went inside to the parts desk. The clerk was going back and forth with the mechanics about parts. Never addressed me. I stood there for 10 mins or so. I grabbed a business card heading back to my car. I was told to ask for antwon by a clerk I ran into on the other side of the Hyundai building. They got me checked in, but it took an hour and a half to get a freaking oil change and a gas treatment. I regret ever getting a service care plan. Valvoline has me in and out in 10-15 mins. Even with a line it doesnt take an hour to get serviced. I just looked at my bill. I was charged for the oil change instead of the gas treatment, which is like a dollar or so less. I called up there to correct it. I was told the amount was corrected and I would be charged for the fuel treatment, since the oil change is covered by the care plan.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership 09 Nov 2015 from seller J.T. Johnson. The CARFAX they provided me stated that the vehicle had no accidents. I went to trade in the vehicle today for a minivan (for our growing family) and was informed that the vehicle was in a major car crash. The vehicle was extensively damaged Sept 2014 to both sides and the entire front of the vehicle. Upon careful inspection the CARFAX they gave me was printed on 23 Oct 2015, 17 days prior to when I purchased it. I was in complete shock today when I was told. This is both misleading and unacceptable from a dealership and I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere. Please be careful with these fraudulent actions so that it does not happen to you. We will be seeking legal action for this matter.

I had an issue with my 2013 optima. My local mechanic told me what the problem was (star coupler in steering column). I researched and found the issue would be covered under an extended warranty due to being a recurring problem with that model. I confirmed this by calling customer service center where the customer service people were extremely polite and helpful. Called Covington Pike service center, waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes. I explained my issue and that I needed to schedule a time to bring it in. Service guy (sorry I didn’t get his name) told me that first of all it would not be covered because my power train warranty was out and that they could do a diagnostic for $140 and then maybe the issue would be covered. He then advised that the first available opening would be over 2 weeks out. I called the Kia dealership on Mt Moriah and though there seemed to be some confusion between how it would be covered (recall vs extended warranty) Mario was very helpful and advised that my vehicle also had another recall that they should look at and I could bring the car in anytime. I will be taking the vehicle to Mario at Mt Moriah on Monday.

Just bought a 2021 vehicle from them. My sales person, Harrel, was awesome to work with and a very good communicator. However, the business side was not so smooth. I was offered several different warranties on the business side. The prices seemed high so I told him I would think about it. The platinum warranty was offered for $3150 on our telluride. I was informed by a Kia Telluride facebook group that I am in, that Kia of Muncie offers the exact same warranty that is honored at all Kia dealerships for $1450. Because I bought my vehicle from this Kia, I then contacted my business person to let him know that I was offered the same warranty but for less than half the price and if he would negotiate. He NEVER contacted me back, not even with a simple no. I sent texts, emails, phonecalls, and voicemails. It is terrible business to completely ignore someone who just spent a large sum of money at your dealship.Long story short: I highly recommend Mr. Harrel but not the business side.

I want to give credit where credit is due. Hats off to service consultant, Justin Matthews, for going above and beyond. I brought my car in because the engine light came on and the gears shifted very hard. Another service consultant(Brandon) did a diagnostic test on the car and told me what the issue was. There were 2 parts needed to fix the problem. I paid for the parts. One part was on hand while the other needed to be ordered. Brandon said, he would let me know when other part arrives. I drove the car believing everything would be fine till the part came in. Same day not even 2 hous later the car stopped completely. I had to get a tow truck to take the car back to the service department. The consultant (Brandon) said the service department closed at 6pm and gates would close at 7pm. He asked me, What did you do to the car, wasnt it working when you left? I was very upset by this comment. He had no concern,was very harsh and demeaning. I got the car back to Gossett before the gates closed and left the key in the drop box. The next morning, (Brandon) was off. That was a blessing in disguise because Justin Matthews called me and apologized for my inconvenience. He did another diagnostic test and found out my battery was the problem. He called and kept me informed. He showed concern,empathy and was so nice & respectful. He turned a bad situation into a good one. My ticket was given back to the first service consultant (Brandon) because he started the process. I waited for his call. I even tried to call him, but there was no avail. I spoke with the parts department and they said my part was in, yet no call from (Brandon). Finally on Saturday morning the call came through. I am so glad I answered the phone, because it was an unknown number. It was surprising that the phone number didnt say Gossett. I was just overjoyed to have my car back and working. My main point is common curiosity is valued. Respectfulness is admired. Honesty is trustworthy. These things are necessary for any business. I want to personally thank Justin Matthews for showing this to me. Justin is a valued asset to your company. Please let him know how much he is valued.
