Pulled into the “Fast Lane” oil change just as they opened at 7:30 am. Still waiting for my truck 3:15 later. No info on when it will be done. Service writer says they are backed up - so why didn’t he mention that when he checked me in? I suggest you get your oil changed somewhere else.

UPDATEDRecently purchased a 2020 RAM 1500 used from Gossett. Our sales person, Travis, was phenomenal. He had superb knowledge about the trucks and provided superior customer service with a personal and kind touch. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Travis and would highly recommend doing business with him and the Gossett family!(SEE UPDATE BELOW) However, when I am paying cash on a $40,000+ vehicle its quite embarrassing that the dealership is unwilling to provide me with a full tank of gas. I do not blame Travis but the policies of Gossett quite embarrassing for such a substantial investment. (SEE UPDATE)UPDATE: The general manager of Gossett personally reached out and apologized for this situation. He provided a very sincere and genuine remedy for the misunderstanding and thoroughly explained the policy. I greatly appreciated this gesture and is a true testimate to excellent customer service and values as a business. Thank you Gossett I look forward to future business!Updated review to 5 stars!

This is my 2nd review of Gossett. After driving my van for 1500 miles upon their 1st repair my van broke down again due to them not properly installing a hydraulic line to my transmission. When I called the service manager to ask him to back up his warranty work he refused saying I couldnt prove it was them that disconnected the line. I can tell you that no one else had touched that transmission in a month and a half before them. So sadly they left me with not only the bill to simply plug the line back up properly but the round-trip airfare and hotel stay while it was being repaired. This is the only Dodge dealer I have ever been to who refused to back up their warranty work.

Absolutely awesome experience. Great selection of vehicles, beautiful showroom and excellent sales support. David Dreyfus has been our go to car guy for over 10 years and 8 vehicle purchases. He genuinly cares about his customers, and their best interests, not just getting the deal. Always exceeds my expectations and goes above and beyond more than any car salesman I have ever met. Carl Williams and Chris Foley were incredibly helpful during the purchase and financing, keeping things moving right along all while being incredibly helpful. If I could give my experience 6 stars, I would. My saleswoman was Shay and she was nothing short of amazing! I called the dealership and asked about one vehicle specifically. The service desk put me in contact with her minutes later. Shay was able to schedule me for a test drive the same day and I was in my vehicle a few hours later. She was honest and clear about everything concerning the car and the deal. She answered every single question I had and without a doubt put me in my amazing 2021 Spitfire Orange Jeep Cherokee. I will certainly be referring her to everyone I know in need of a vehicle! Shay and Gossett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram truly have amazing customer service.

I found this group to be very unprofessional. There is no accountability and employees are pretty much allowed to do anything. All attempts to contact management were unsuccessful. They clearly do not care what happens as long as the customers pay them. I recommend you take your business elsewhere...

Hands down, the worst experience Ive ever had with attempting to get my car serviced. I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance to avoid them having to keep my car for 2 weeks (why they have to keep my car for two weeks is beyond me). I take my car in for service and Mike Jones informed me it would take about 2 days. I waiting 2 and a half days before I called to check on its progress and thats when Mike Jones informed me that there were 31 cars in front of mine and it would be a week and a half before they can get to it. I informed him before my car even went in for service that my car is my only mode of transportation and Id just recently moved to the city and didnt have much help. He then told me that I can just come and pick my car up and he would call me when they were ready to service it. I never heard from Mike Jones until I called him. He told me to bring my car in on June 16th and they would get it right in. When I arrived Mike Jones informed me that there were 41 cars in front of mine and theres no telling when Ill get it back. If I had any other choice I wouldnt leave my car with these people. They currently have my car and theres no telling when Ill get it back. Im a single mother in a new city just trying to get my car serviced. My experience with Gossett alone makes me consider moving back where I came from.

First of all let me say that the staff here very committed to pleasing their customers. Gossett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was actually the last place I wanted to visit after about 4 days of walking lots looking at vehicles, talking to salesmen till I turned blue in the face to have to turn around after being disappointed by fake claims. Sheldon and Chris really took the time to make sure that my first new vehicle purchase would be a memorable experience. Even the finance dept went over and above my expectations. Having to live in one state and work in another has in itself challenges. When it was all said and done I received the keys to my brand new vehicle and the process literally was only a few hours in total. I highly recommend Gossett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to anyone who is looking to purchase a great vehicle. Thanks Guys for your professionalism.

I notice that the sign required a mask to be worn, however none the the staff members were wearing mask. We must be congruent to set the standards. I am disappointed when I see this behavior. This facility is not customer friendly, most of the customers are hanging out on the side of the building.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY.My Jeep Cherokee had to be towed there in need of a new battery. Bob called and said the battery would cost $215 without offering any alternative and I accepted. However, a little research after the fact showed that there are alternative choices as low as $59 to $130. That’s more than $150 that they were able to con out of me not to mention the fees for “shop supplies” and labor that they slapped on the bill as well.I will admit that my own lack of knowledge and experience allowed me to be susceptible. They certainly took advantage of my lack of knowledge and research.It wasn’t all bad though, they were fast and efficient. It was quality work and in addition to the inspection and battery replacement they were able to change my oil as well. Good communication time and friendly service.That being said, I will not be using them for future service needs as they have lost my trust.

Had repair work done and was told the warranty had expired and paid for the repairs, went back today to purchase another warranty and couldnt because the warranty was still active, I had to go back to repairs and explained ro them and after looking it up found out I was correct and after an hour if back and forth they are finally going to refund the money back.

I will never take my car there again. Made a appointment to bring my car in because of a recall. When I got there I was told they didnt have the part and I would have to come back the next day. I told them I couldnt come back because I have to work. Why would you tell me to make an appointment then not have the part when I get there and not offer a loaner car since they were the ones who screwed up. I guess the customer time is not important to them unless youre there to spend money.

David Dreyfus the gm, Chris Allen, finance/business mgr and Phillip (in detail) went out of their way to help us. The hospitality was excellent. I would buy from this dealership again in a heartbeat. The best buying experience I’ve had! I was looking for a very specific Grand Cherokee— certain color, all the bells and whistles, and a 4x4. There aren’t many 4x4s in this part of the country, but David Dreyfus went above and beyond. He found the perfect match in Illinois and had it here by the end of the week. He never made me feel pressured or like I was a hassle, although I admittedly had high standards. I can’t recommend him and his team enough!

Update: I did receive a call back from the Manager after three tries to obtain the information to leave a voicemail. To clarify, I am not and was not upset about the ac not working in the vehicle or the lack of warranty coverage. I drove a vehicle with AC and my wonderful husband drove the vehicle without AC. I was upset because the service writer refused to even look up the VIN to see if there was any warranty available. Then, when I asked if he could fix the ac even if it didnt have warranty. His smart toned response was Well, I hope you came prepared to leave it because I cant even get it looked at it for at least 3 days. This guy CLEARLY had no desire to help me.I felt pretty good after speaking with the manager on the telephone yesterday, but after seeing their reply to this post insinuating I was the one having a bad day because of no AC or warranty, I realize they have zero desire for my business!The facility who referred me to the dealership repaired the vehicle the same day and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wont be using any services from this dealership because they just demonstrated to me that their priority is making themselves look good and shifting blame to the customer for their rude employees.Original Review: I have never met such an obnoxious service writer in my life. Told me five times what he cant do. Not even bothering to suggest anything he can do. I wont be back.

Traveling through Memphis on our way home to Arizona the cruise control on our 2017 Ram 3500 quit working called a few dealers in the area got the same song and dance of “maybe we can fit you in in a couple of days” called Gossett spoke to Lafayette he said stop by and he’ll take a look. Arrived about 8:30 and within 1 1/2 hours they installed a new steering wheel switch and took care of a software update and had us back on the road. Trust me if we lived in the Memphis area this would be our dealer of choice thank you so much, you’ve restored our faith in dealerships service departments again.

I told him the I had a nail in my tire and that I didnt want to take it out myself due to me not know how deep the nail was in the tire. Jef did not hesitate; he said lets take a look at it! I hate to leave a bad review, but please be warned. Customer service and quality of repair is not what this company prides itself on. I had the body control module repaired on my Jeep Grand Cherokee back in December after some electrical issues left me we with a car that wouldnt start and lighting issues. The repair helped with the issues I was having, but I was left with a ripped carpet and a disassembled glove box. I let it slide... not a huge deal and my car was safe to drive again. 3 months later and Im experiencing the same electrical issues again. I went back up there to speak with the service department and drop my car off. The customer may not always be right, but they should be treated with respect. This is obviously not the motto of Bob Flowers. He was extremely disrespectful and had no interest in treating me like a valued client.Thanks for nothing Bob and team... my money goes toward companies who value customer service :)

My visit was characterized by professionalism from start to finish. I was promptly taken by courtesy car to my home after dropping off my car for recall work. I had hardly returned home an hour when the service manager call me to say my car was ready. The courtesy car was in my area, after having dropped off some other customers. I purchase my 2007 Dodge Charger at Gossett Dodge Jeep Ram in 2008 and they have been the best dealership for service on my vehicle. Once I took my Vehicle to another Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership for service because they were closer to my home address and they had my vehicle for 10 days without updating me on the progress of my service. When I returned they told me that they hadnt been able to assess my problem. Never again will I take my vehicle to any other dealership than Gossett Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram for service. Saturday we were on a trip from Nashville to California with a large pull behind trailer and two dogs. We got a warning light that said we had 125 miles until 5 miles an hour and something was wrong with the DEF fluid. We called the closest dealership and they told us to come in but when we got there told us they did not have a diesel mechanic on Saturdays.We then called Gossett and they told us they could look at it. So we drove back over there. They took the time on a busy Saturday to look at our truck, fix the problem and get us on our way. The service manager was phenomenal and he and the cashier, Willis stayed late for us. Such great service we appreciate it!!!

I recently took my Jeep Wrangler in for 120K checkup, a recall, and a couple of other things. David from the service department worked with me and he and the technicians did a great job in getting everything checked out and repaired. In addition to the pre-determined work, they did a thorough check of my jeep and reported it was in very good working condition. I appreciate the level of service performed by Gossett whenever I bring my Jeep in for service. I drive quite a distance to have it serviced there because of their solid history and attention. I could take it to other places much closer but good customer service is worth the drive.

Gossett is a very busy place so it is really hard to rate the business part. First, I had to realize that my car is not the only car that needs attention from Gossett. The employees in the service department are awesome and very helpful. I have had good experiences and not so good experiences. I will continue to visit because I am well aware that it is difficult to make everybody happy but if I see that you are making an effort to please me, I am okay. Sometimes the final ball is not in your court and you can only do what you are allowed to do and if that means I wait a little longer than I expect or not get the answer I would like to get. My husbands truck broke down on Saturday. Due to some inattentiveness of AAA, he was delayed at being towed. He did not make ti to Gossett until late afternoon. He needed a pulley for his serpentine belt changed out. There was an amazing mechanic there that said he would get it done....someone else had told he they could not get it done. This mechanic worked on it and was able to get it done. He was awesome. The mechanic was leaving-it was his last day- but he put in 100% effort and did a great job getting my husband back on the road. I am grateful the staff and especially this mechanic. Thank you!

I work for a small used car dealer in Memphis. We had to put a transmission in a vehicle and upon installation there was a code that said it needed to be flashed. We called the service department at Gossett and spoke with Nick and were quoted a price of $140. We dropped off the car that morning and waited. The next day after lunch, we called to see it it was ready. We were told it would be a couple of hours. We didnt hear back from Nick that day or the next. My employer sent me to Gossett to find out what was going on. I found Nick and asked about the car. He said they found another code. I asked what the code was, and he said he didnt know what the code was, but it pointed to metal shavings in the transmission,(there is no such code btw) and the technician was looking at it as we spoke. I asked if he had the pan off and Nick said yes he did. I asked if I could take a look at it. The look on Nicks face said it all. After some hesitation he said yes and asked me to wait right there and he would be right back. A few minutes later returned and said I would never believe this, but he was wrong. The technician was just finishing up and I could wait for the car if I wanted. When the car was ready the bill was $360 because a wire was broke and a sensor was replaced and the wire repaired. Upon returning to the lot,we looked at the sensor that was replaced and the wire that had been repaired. The sensor was dirty and definitely not new, and the tape around the broken wire was original to the car and completely undisturbed. I have the pictures to prove it. Bottom line is we were charged for repairs that were not needed and not done. Nick lied in order to pad the bill. I called him on it and all he had to say was, Good day, maam!. I expected more honest and professional behavior from the service department at Gossett. I was extremely disappointed. We will find another dealership to work on our vehicles from now on. Hopefully their service department will be honest and not out to rip customers off.
