David Howell is an incredible person and made the car buying experience easy. He is very professional and personable. If you are in the market for a Honda, I would seek this dealership out. Unlike other local Honda dealers, this one does not have the Market Adjustment fee tacked on the sale of the car/truck. It is a difficult time to purchase a new vehicle, and AutoNation Covington Pike is upfront with what they can and cannot do with negotiations.

We all know that team work, makes the dream work. Id love to tell you that Im head over heals in love with my Honda Dealer but it did not start out that way. We had issues, and we had problems, but I had a team from my Honda Dealer like no other! Id like to introduce you to my Honda DREAM TEAM! First Jennifer, Im not sure what her actual title is but I know that when I walk in my dealer, Jennifer always greets me and brightens up my day.. she is amazing at customer service. The second member of my team is named John, he is the new car sales manager I believe.. John took my problems and made them his own, he really did.. he was not satisfied until I was and he led me to the final member of my dream team, Adam. Adam is the manager for the service department.. Amazingly thorough, completed everything I asked for and more and my Honda runs like a dream! You could not pay me to switch out my dream team! I love them, theyre mine, get your own! ;)

AutoNation is great the staff is extra friendly very professional. Some services are through the roof on price and in my situation I cant afford that so I will have to have some kind of coupons or something in order for me to truly consider AutoNation for a big job. But other than that the wait time was long and I truly believe they would try to get to the bottom of what is wrong with your vehicle if you have the time and the patience.

I came across AutoNation Honda when I was searching for a truck. I saw that they had great reviews and so I put my info in and they called me right away. Great customer service and everyone was extremely helpful and nice. From the time I got there to look at the truck, till the time I left, they made us feel at home. Never once pressured or anything. I drove away in a practically brand new truck and I love it. Trey Wilson was my salesman and I couldn’t have asked for a more professional salesman. Every question I had, he answered. Even after I have bought the truck and have had it home for a week now, he still answers any questions.

First of all, to me buying or leasing a car is not the most enjoyable experience, sort of like getting a root canal. Necessary but somewhat unpleasant. So, if you are going to have to get that root canal, you want a professional, experienced doctor to handle the job. Thats what we got at Honda Covington Pike. Ryne and Kyle were wonderful. Patient and professional. John in finance was also thoroughly professional. This car was acquired for our daughter who recently graduated from college and will be teaching in Memphis for the next couple of years. I have complete confidence that the folks at Covington Pike will be taking care of her.

Had the tire protection coverage and dropped my tire off to be fixed or replaced. They were able to get me a new tire under the protection coverage. I was very satisfied with their customer service and how fast the turn around time was to replace and mount my tire.

I went in for usual service. Oil change and tire balance and rotation. Attention to detail was not up to par for a Honda Technician. He forgot to return my wheel locks. I asked for them before I left. Next I drove home and then the TPMS light came on. One tire was at 25 and they didnt put the valve stem caps back on two of the tires. Ive been a customer for many years and this is the first time Ive had this occur.

I sat in the showroom 7 hours waiting to get an acceptable offer approved and the check cut! This process should be streamlined! Get an acceptable offer and have it completed with check in hand in maximum 2 hours. If this cant be accomplished, the process should be outlined upfront. You should negotiate an acceptable offer, leave and come back when everything is ready if it has to be that long, sign the paperwork and get the check immediately. You shouldnt have to wait another 1.5 hours to get the check!

I was at this location for a recall of the passenger airbag on an 02 Honda Civic and a customer courtesy check. The staff was great as well as everything in the lobby. The airbag was changed very efficiently, my wait was only just over an hour. However I dont believe the courtesy check was completed to its fullest extent. The tread depth on all 4 tires were listed as 30 of 32 but the 2 back are twice as old and have 3 times the wear of the fairly new fronts. My washer fluid was listed as good but I have no bumper cover on my car so it is completely visible and was empty. My wiper blades were listed as good however, on the rainy drive over that morning, my driver side wiper split and needed replacement. There was no recommendations for any of these items listed on my service report. Its as if the mechanic just checked all items off without verification of anything. If not for this I would rate this service center as 5 stars.

My experience here was wonderful. Nick Cirillo was a great salesman. He gave us all the attention we needed while not applying any pressure toward the sale. He was thorough and helpful through the entire process and even did some extra things to make us feel comfortable with our purchase (even though we had already agreed to purchase the car). The finance manager, Tony Gray, was also so kind and helpful and also went above and beyond in assisting us. We were very well treated and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used car. We are happy with the vehicle and we spent time comparing prices so we know we got a great value for what we purchased. Two thumbs up!

I called this morning to check on the availability of a vehicle, and was told it was still available. Furthermore, the salesman (Trey Wilson) told me he’d personally grab the keys and pull it off the lot until I was able to arrive- due to me living 3 hours away. When we call to get the final cost for the check- we were told it had been sold. John Lawrence, pre-owned manager, insisted Trey did the right thing selling it to the person that offered money first (despite the fact that we were never offered the option to place a deposit to hold). You know what they say: a man is only as good as his word.

This was the worse experience ever when its comes to getting my car service. I drove almost two hours for an oil change appointment that was scheduled for 830 am. After sitting for almost two and a half hours and seeing that my car had not moved, I went to check on it. The first man act like he couldnt give me any information because I hadnt left my car with him and this was only because he was acting like he couldnt get my information when I got there because his and I quote computer wouldnt work but I noticed it worked for certain people with no problem. I then went to the lady who had came and I got my car. After checking me, she said there was still cars in front of me. Mine you again, this was almost 11 o clock and I had been there since 8:20 for my 8:30 appointment. This meant that I probably would have been there for some more hours and I still had to drive almost 2 hours back home on my only off day. I ask for my keys and left. This is ridiculous and if I didnt want to take my car to the dealership where I bought it. I woul not recommend this place to anyone and never sit foot in this place again.

I have purchased two cars here. My buying experience was impeccable both times. Terence is a life saver.The service department needs some improvement. I purchased tires in June and all service on my vehicles has been done here. On 8/22 I caught a flat tire and had to have my car towed to the dealership because my wheel key wasn’t in my car even though it’s been in the glove box since I purchased the car.When I arrived at the dealership, I asked what they’d done with my wheel key and the service manager insisted that they only use their master set.I told the manager that this center is the only place that has ever worked on my car. If the key was missing it has to be here because they used it and didn’t put it back in my car. Still he insisted I was wrong and that I would have to pay for a replacement.Today 9/1 I am here to get my rim put on and my service advisor comes to ask me for my wheel key(strange, because they have a master set right?) Of course the service manager isn’t around right now🙃.My service advisor also tried to pressure me into buying a rim from them for $500 that retails for $200 max. Her exact words “You can’t find Honda parts anywhere else but Honda dealerships.” Flat out lie. Took me 30 minutes to find the rim online.It’s disheartening to know that someone would try take advantage of another person in times as hard as these but…here we are.I wrote this review in the lobby. At check out today I was told that they were going to replace my wheel key but there’s no RO with that information on it or showing that I was here at all….😒 if they make right I’ll happily update this review. But to be completely honest, it ain’t looking good.

I have a service contract/service plan through AutoNation Honda that I selected when buying my 2018 Honda HR-V. This means a little extra is added to my monthly car note so that my routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs are covered when I bring my car to AutoNation Service Center. I brought my HR-V to the Covington Pike location on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021. I dropped my car off at 8:12 AM on Saturday morning. I was told that my appointment was “free of charge” since I have the Service Plan. However, as soon as I arrived, I was met with aggressive scare tactics by the Service Agent who was trying to get me to buy more services. I said no to all of the agent’s attempts to sell me additional services until my tires were mentioned. I was told that my front driver side tire was “extremely bald” on one side which indicated that my tires needed an alignment. The Service Agent informed me that me tire could blow out on me if I didn’t get an alignment. I asked how much it would cost me: $120. I left my car there and was called 3 hours later telling me to come pick my car up. I returned to the Service Center, and Terrell Wilkerson completed my transaction. He informed me that me oil change and tire rotation were “free of charge” due to my service plan and informed me that my front tires were “so out of alignment that they were about to fly off the car.” He then gave me a receipt which showed I was charged $191.44. I asked WHY it was $191.44. He informed me that the machine made an error and charged me for the oil change. So, I asked him to reverse the charge. He said he could not reverse the charge, and he offered me a coupon for a FREE oil change. I already get free oil changes. In fact, this oil change was supposed to be free of charge since I pre-pay for my oil changes each month. I was then told that no one could reverse the charge because there were no managers present on Saturdays. I was promised that the charge would be reversed on Monday, Oct. 11th. (Today is 10/13/21, and still no reversal/credit on my card) Additionally, in reviewing my paperwork, I saw that my mileage documented on my car was 24,286, and the reminder sticker placed on my windshield said to return for next oil change when I hit 29,300 miles. Well, the mileage on my car when I checked in was 32,496 miles. I asked about this, and again, Terrell Wilkerson said that “the computer made an error”. Zero accountability being taken by this service agent. Reputable people take ownership of their mistakes, and don’t blame everything on computers or others. The worst part of this entire ordeal was the overly sexist manner in which Mr. Wilkerson tried to circumvent me and talk to my husband about my car that’s solely in my name when I refused to accept the “free oil change” coupon, and stood my ground asking for the overcharge to be reversed. I will never go to this location, again.

Everything about my experience was great except for the finance department. Finance manager that we had tried to pull a fast one and add an overpriced extended warranty to the final price so beware. I ordered some tires through the service dept. and showed up for an appointment scheduled for tire replacements under a package warranty i paid for included in my finance, and the tires werent even there. so i scheduled another appointment at their earliest convienience, and suddenly my tires were no longer under warranty. They offered to sell me tires at $240 each. after declining their generous offer, they gave my tires a few pounds of air and managed to lose a couple valve stems in the process. would not recommend purchasing any of their pricey packages, and certainly will not be returning to the service department.

Horrible — an absolutely horrible experience!Brought my crv in for $2,800 worth of work. You’d think they would get it right the first time if I’m spending that much? Nope. Brought my car home and it broke down. Had to get it towed back to them…and they still didn’t get it right when I drove it home the second time. After spending nearly $200 on Uber fees and towing fees (which they didn’t offer to help cover) — and of course the now $3,000 (they charged me for the battery), I finally got my car back.Oh, and the receptionist was completely rude and unprofessional. When attempted to share my frustration, she cut me off and had the audacity of saying the breakdown in my car was my fault because I was 1k past an oil…unbelievable.I won’t be back. I was ok a paying premium cost expecting premium service. But with this kind of maintenance and service, do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else. I know I will moving forward.

Traveled 2 1/2 hours to test drive the Chevy Tahoe advertised online. Was not greeted at first with the best attitude but ended up being ok. Test drove the vehicle with the salesman Gabe. He advised me the front driver’s seat was not working but the part had been ordered. I told him in the meantime that I would be getting financing through my credit union. Contacted him after receiving approval; he instructed me to contact the sales manager-Joe. Joe was wanting me to pick the vehicle up ASAP knowing the repairs had not been done. He promised the vehicle would be done on Thursday at 5pm. Needless to say, it wasn’t. I contacted this store several times after being approved trying to get possession of this vehicle. Even paid $50 to FedEx a $24k check to hold the vehicle. I also asked Joe to make sure the front bumper was fixed. He did not. Gabe had to follow up with that request. One week after being approved, they agree to meet me with the vehicle. I was told I would receive copies of my paperwork by email as soon as the salesman returned to the office. It has been 4 days; 3 calls later and I have yet to receive copies. Also, this vehicle was advertised as “seats 8”.The 3rd row seating is missing after being told it was there. I have not received a follow up call on that as well. I’ve bought several vehicles, and this by far has been the worst experience ever! So unorganized and unprofessional. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. Hopefully I can get something done soon.I will not be a return customer nor will I refer anyone to this store!

I bought my car very satisfied. Later some problems arose with the car, contacted Auto Nation Honda they repaired with no cost to me. I was having knee surgery at the VA hospital in Nashville. Another problem arose while there had to do repairs and rent car in Nashville. After I got home after surgery I contacted Danny Anderson at Auto Nation Honda, I explained the situation that arose in Nashville and the money I spent to repair car and rental. He asked me to send receipts for work and car rental, they would send me a check for the expenses . I am happy to say today I got a check in the mail, from Auto Nation Honda for full amount. I highly recommend Auto Nation Honda. I now know that they value there reputation. Thank You Danny Anderson for your help and my thanks to Auto Nation Honda, for your integrity. Repairs deemed not needed by another shop. I have used Honda Service on Covington Pike for years because I trusted their work. Not anymore. They missed serious problems and gave me a list of items that needed repair or replaced. Two other shops independently said some were just fine and did not need repair. I will not be back. I realize their service people make a commission on repairs, however, the fabricated repairs are just ridiculous.

I HATE IT HERE‼️‼️‼️‼️🥵I started looking for a car in late May. I put a pre-qualify application in, and was approved for $14,000. I was happy until I found out that the approval was for a 2016 Kia Soul EV.Soon after my purchase I felt horrible😰😰😰 the car only had a 50mile range, not 120miles as projected by my salesperson. The miles steadily declined by July I only had a 36mile range even while the car was fully charged. I tried contacting them for at least a month to figure out what needed to be done (as I had a warranty) they finally told me to take it to Kia & when I did they kept the car for over a week (I STILL don’t have it). Not to mention the fact that they ran my credit at least 10times (5with the same creditor).Now my credit is ruined: Kia is still holding the car, my note is falling further behind & no one is telling me anything. I will NEVER buy another car from this company, nor will I refer anyone to them. To show you how awful the service & communication is my son NEVER purchased a car from them, but they sent HIM this email to MY email account. JUST THROW THE WHOLE D@😒N COMPANY AWAY‼️🚮🚨🚨🚨UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨I got my car back from Kia on the same day I posted this; HOWEVER, they are saying I would have to ship the car to GEORGIA (I’m in Tennessee) in order to have it fixed because KIA doesn’t have the equipment needed to repair the vehicle.No one at Auto Nation COVINGTON PIKE has responded to my calls/texts/emails & I have a car that CAN’T be fixed in Tennessee, nor can I drive it further than 36miles away from home😒😒😒 as I said before….. I brought my 2019 Honda Pilot that I purchased in August 2020 with roughly 18K miles on it. Every single time I have brought it in, I have complained about the hesitation in it when applying the gas and sometimes just driving down the road, they could never duplicate the problem so it has never been addressed and now out of warranty. On this particular service date they checked the brake rotors as the vehicle was shaking when applying the brakes. The mileage was a little over 37K. I was called and told that the rotors needed to be turned. I voiced my shock as it barely had any miles on it. I was told that it was the Memphis streets that caused it. I owned a 2009 Hyundai Sante Fe for 11 years and I NEVER had to have the rotors turned on it and I drove those same Memphis streets the entire time. The cost to have them turned was over 200.00 and then to have the tires rotated and balanced was another 60.00. Small fortune for routine maintenance on a vehicle. Note - I ignored your first 2 request for a review but you continually sent emails requesting it, so now you have it.

I recently had my car in for service. The staff was very friendly. The big, main issue I had, that I was dissatisfied with, was the front end on the service, the advisor. Although I described the issue I was having with my car, even mentioned what I thought may be the problem, this particular service advisor failed to write in detail the full description of my cars issue, even after seeing for themself what it was doing. I was called later in the day and told what the problem was (so I thought) and agreed to have it repaired. After three days of them having my car, they called to inform me that they had now found yet another issue that needed to be fixed. Needless to say, I was not happy because it should have been discovered on the front end, upon the initial checking of issues. The advisor dropped the ball due to failure to write the exact complaint on the order so that the technician would have been aware of it from the beginning. I found out after the fact, upon speaking to the technician myself. I do trust that my car was repaired properly, maybe even more so than it actually needed. When I first went in service was great. Pick up was the total opposite; the person pulled my record and gave me my key. I turn around and said, where is my car? He said its out on the other side of the garage. I asked where and he said, use your alarm to find it. Are you kidding me.So I had to go get my own car. Take out all the paper and plastic. THIS WAS THE WORST service I have ever experienced, and I had just spent hundreds of dollars here.

Rachel provided outstanding customer service! Unfortunately, I arrived a little late for my appointment to have my car serviced . In spite of the reception area being quite busy, I was acknowledged in a friendly manner.From a distance, I gathered that she was on a challenging phone call. I noticed that her demeaner remained calm and pleasant throughout the lengthy conversation. When she able to assist me, I explained that I had changed purses and inadvertently left my VISA card at home. She was extraordinarily patient and explained that my car could not be released without payment. Thanks to her, I was able to make a phone call and use a department store credit card. She explained that it would be a pretty long wait and even offered me the use of a phone charger if I needed it. Bought my car from this lot and after 5 months, my transmission started to slip. Brought it to the service center to drop off, only to be told 2 days later that i needed to take it to a Ford Dealer and that “they could do nothing for me”. I gotta give it to these guys. They weren’t pushy, gave me time to decide, my trade-in was easy, and the whole process went smoothly. I came to this dealership on a whim but I’m glad I did. My 2014 Honda Accord coupe was my trade in and I bought a brand new 2020 Honda Accord sport. I live in Houston but bought it here so the ride home was smooth and nice. Staff is friendly, waiting time is reasonable, but as for technical issue we got a problem : the broken shift lever has been replaced, I drove home and almost could not put the lever in P position. I had to take a trip back to Honda Service and get the mechanic to check again. He rec0gnized the problem and fixed it in 20 minutes.

He made a way for me to come in, even though they were very busy, so that the problem could be diagnosed that day! Everyone was very timely, courteous, caring, and professional. This was the worst car purchase that I have ever gone through. After being told by a salesman the amount that I would need to purchase my vehicle outright, I went and got a cashiers check. The manager, John Barnes, then said that he needed an additional $358 because the price was calculated wrong after I confirmed 3 different times before going to the bank. I was asked to pay more to get the vehicle that I searched online for and made 5 trips to purchase. Gabriel, the salesman, and Joe Cooper were the only saving grace from this disaster but I will never return to this dealership again.

My car is being serviced at the Covington pike location and I’ve been having the worst of luck with them that I am now aggravated. I have taken my car back to them 4 times now for the same issue and it is still not fixed. Now my car has been sitting up there for two weeks and no one has contacted regarding the status of my car. So when I go up there to get an update, I was informed that everyone quit and there’s only two advisors working there so no one has thought to check on what is going on with my car. This is unacceptable.Also, each time I took my car up there I was told that something new was needed each time and that it should fix the problem but here I am with still the same issue. Now no one knows what is going on with my car because my service advisor quit.I also called up there everyday to get an update about my car but was told that someone would give me call back and no one ever did. So that’s what lead to me actually going up there to figure out what is going on. That’s when I was told everyone had quit and no can tell me what is going on with my car that’s been there for two weeks now. I’m highly disappointed. I brought my car to a dealership thinking that I would get the best service from the suppose to be Honda experts, but clearly I made a mistake.

My wife just bought a 2021 CR-V. We weren’t even entirely sure if we truly wanted to trade her bmw for it but the CR-V was just as nice of not better and more spacious. Also Riz was our salesman and he was wonderful! Not pushy and was very caring! I’ve never had such a smooth experience at any other dealership and I’m very very proud to say the customer service was the best. Found a van I wanted on the website at this location. Talked to 3 different people, even being quoted a trade in price, then almost drove 1.5 hours away to get it before being notified that they don’t actually have the van I wanted and it’s being shipped to their store and it’s already been purchased. How does 3 different people miss that?? Then I talked to someone who sent me other vans I might would like. Called him back to ask a few questions and he gave me attitude. Will not be dealing with them again.

My grandmother just got her truck two months aways and her check engine light come on and off then she was told to take it to the shop they fix one thing and mess up another not Stephanie telling her she had to pay a 1000 dollars I think tf not ! Came in on a busy Saturday, found a very helpful and professional salesman. Test drove 3 different models on a circuit that allowed me to get a good feel for low and high-speed performance. Made the decision to buy the right car easy. The business manager was also very knowledgeable and professional. I appreciated that I didnt feel pressured into an extended warranty that I preferred not to get.After i got the car home, i had an issue with a tire leaking pressure not due to a puncture. Brought the car back on a Saturday, and after some wait the business manager got us fixed up with a new wheel, problem solved and much appreciated again.This is my first Honda and Im impressed with features and performance compared to other cars ive owned. I do recommend.
