I have had my vehicle in this location for what amounted to a scratch and dent on a door. It has been 6.5 weeks. Every time I call, I am told my vehicle is in another part of the repair process. I am being lied to constantly. They use covid as an excuse. However, when I dropped it off they told me 1-2 weeks. Now they are saying they told me 3-6 weeks, which is not what I was told. I am being gaslighted by this company. I understand people are working short handed at the moment, but there is no reason to be lied to in this process. I just want my vehicle back! Every time I call its a few days longer. My insurance company (USAA) has tried to get in touch with them about extending my rental car. They told me they wouldnt return their calls. Of course, the people at Joe Stewart deny they were called. Say a prayer this gets done! I am having to pay $40/day for a rental car at this point. User beware!

Joe Stewart body shop is the most unreliable, unresponsive, and disrespectful body shop I have ever done business with. I dropped my car off a week 1/2 ago and ever since then I have regret my decision. My service advisor is Lawrence and I wouldnt recommend him to anyone. He has provided no information on when my vehicle be ready or if it has even been processed for repair. One of my biggest concerns is their lack of communication. They will hold your car for a week and never return your calls or give you an update. Ive tried calling many times just to get very rude and disrespectful responses that never answer my questions or concerns regarding my vehicle. I have never had such a terrible experience when dealing with a auto service provider. I was advised by my Mercedes-benz service advisor to utilize Joe Stewart body shop for my repairs and it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Please dont trust these people with your vehicle they are extremely unethical and shady.

YOU ARE A CUSTOMER HERE, NOT A CLAIM NUMBER!!!!!! :) :) :)I m going to sleep soundly for the first time since the wreck over a month ago now that the car is finally with Joe Stewarts, an experienced and competent auto body repair business.The company my insurance sent us to has been nightmarish for over 4 weeks, yet after only a short time of turning the car over to Joe Stewart, there is hope in sight.Its nice to find a locally owned and operated business that not only has the experience to do the job and actually wants put drivers back into their vehicles instead of just collecting from a big insurance company so everyone wins but the driver with a smashed car.

Outstanding results!Joe Stewart body shop was recommended to me by a friend to repair some dents and scratches on my SUV. They were professionals every step of the way. I had several areas on my car with dings and dents. They were able to get me in quickly, give me an estimate quickly and I am very happy with the outcome. They are efficient, have great pricing and do excellent work. I highly recommend using them for any auto body work you may have.

Absolutely amazing staff! Lawrence Stewart communicated with me throughout the entire process. After my vehicle accident I just knew my SUV would never be the same, but I was proven wrong. Joe Stewart Body Shop made my GLE 450 Benz look as though nothing had ever happened and Im beyond grateful for their hardwork and dedication. They have years of experience working with high-end vehicles and it definitely shows in their quality of work! I highly recommend this body shop! A+++

Excellent service!!!!! My son attends college at the U of Memphis and had some damage to his vehicle during a storm. We choose Joe Stewart based on other google reviews. They did great work. A few months later after a massive rain the car was flooded in the middle of the back seats. Joe Stewart took it back in and realized a small issue with the 3rd brake light in the back window didnt seal properly and should have been replaced during 1st repair. They took the car back, worked on it for weeks to get the water out, cleaned the interior to make sure we had no issues with mold, ect. This all on their dime to make things right and with no help from the insurance company who should have helped as it was part of the original repair cost. Jonathan was extremely communicable during the process, talked about what the issues were, how they were going to address it and make it right. They even worked with my son (20yrs old) to make sure he had means of transportation while at school for the duration. A+++ to Jonathan and Joe Stewart Body Shop. I live 3 hrs away, knowing that they took care of an issue and worked hard to resolve any issued if something wasnt right and I didnt have to be the crazy parent driving to Memphis constantly to make sure it was taken care, speaks volumes to their customer service and care for their clients. Im glad we choose them to handle our Auto needs and would recommend them to anyone!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a body shop. Lawrence inspected my truck I brought in for an insurance claim. We talked about each piece that needed replaced/painted and what all needed done. When I picked up the first time, half the work was done. He claims he “forgot” to order the piece then turned around and said it was never in the original quote. Well, we talked about everything that needed replaced/painted. I turned his quote into insurance and that’s what I got to pay him so that’s on him. Who brings a vehicle in for a claim and want half the work done? Well after about a month or so they finally got the piece in. Supposed to be done within the 5 days they had it and it still wasn’t. All To put one valence piece on. NOT TO MENTION, they didn’t even color match the piece they replaced. Clear as day 2 different shades of white.

My 6 months horrible nightmare and still going. Took my BMW 640i for repairs in December 2020. They had to redo the job 3 times and J. Stewart had possession of the car in their shop for about 4 months. They even scratched my car at the shop and were going to return the car to me like that initially. Car was picked up finally 4 months later in the late afternoon. The next day I was already in Atlanta when I noticed the repaired area was done very poorly. I called J.Stewart and they told me that they would pay a body shop in Atlanta to fix the job. The body shop in Atlanta called J.Stewart and they refused to be pay. Now 6 months after I took the car there my car is still not repaired. I am in the process of contacting an attorney as I write this.

I went there to get a estimate for my vehicle and the person talk himself out of my business. I guess he assumed I could not afford the repair cost. I guess my 2005 ford truck wasnt worth working on. All I wanted was a estimate so I could bring my truck back to get repaired. I guess if you are Black and not driving a Mercedes Joe Stewart Body Shop dont want your business. I dont need a business to tell me what they would not spend on my vehicle to be repaired.

I brought in my co-workers car due to a minor scuff/scrape on the side of her car. John Parise helped us and was incredible and beyond kind. He was friendly and got the work done super quick. I would recommend this body shop to anyone! Kelley Hendrix was also very kind and helpful in getting everything taken care of quickly. I appreciate everything they did! THANK YOU!

I had an appointment with this body shop that was about six weeks out. When I showed up, they didn’t have any record of my appointment. They took my car for a week. They then tried to push me out several weeks later after I had burned 1 week worth of my car rental.The body shop’s repair management is just not very good.

I came by because Im missing my hood latch and a connector on my bumper that makes it slide off on one side and I was told in order to evaluate it was going to be six to seven hundred dollars just to look at the vehicle and that I should send my car back to the dealership immediately! I told him that I was disappointed that he didnt want to do business with me and I left. The lady up front was super sweet but I feel bad for her working with a bunch of arrogant jerks like that! Im glad I didnt give them a dime of the money coming from my dealer!

One of my co-workers was in an accident yesterday and not at fault so we had our company vehicle towed to Joe Stewarts Body Shop. They gathered my info and told me they would be sending an estimate. The next morning I was sent paperwork via email to sign authorizing them for complete repair authorization. The paperwork was very clear in its terminology and there was zero confusion on this end. I told the gentleman via email I simply wanted an estimate and he said he could not touch my vehicle without that form being signed. I called up there to let them know I would be picking the van up and taking it elsewhere and I needed to settle up on the tow truck bill since they paid the truck on my behalf the day before. After speaking with the gentleman who I had been communicating with, I was placed on hold and disconnected twice during calls. I called a third time to let them know what I wanted and after several minutes on hold it hung up on me again so I went up there. When I got there I let them know why I was there and I sat in the lobby waiting. After several minutes of confusion I told them I was simply there to pick up my vehicle and I wanted to get the heck out of there. The tow truck was already on the way at this point. She called me in her office and started to berate me on how I was impatient and not giving them enough time to give me an estimate. I told her that wasnt the issue and what her employee Landon had told me about needing the authorization paperwork signed and she responded well I simply dont believe he said that. I told her it was via email and if she didnt believe me I could show her on my phone where he said that and I proceeded to show it to her. She responded with I dont care what it says and at that point I was already frustrated so I lost my cool a bit and gave them a piece of my mind in a not so friendly manner. I told her to run my credit card and get my van key and she said she didnt have to do anything. At this point the entire lobby was filled with customers who overheard all of this. Eventually she ran my credit card in anger because I called her company out on wanting authorizations to bill insurance companies for repairs that they havent even quoted. Once she finished processing my credit card she told me that I better hope the van gets picked up today or she would be charging me for a 30 day hold fee. I told her the tow truck was already on the way and would be there in a few minutes and she responded good, well you can go outside and sit in that hot van and get out of this office - Numerous customers in the lobby had left by this point and I could tell one was turned off by the situation. I proceeded to go outside and wait for the tow truck and when it arrived he asked me about what happened and he agreed that this wasnt the best shop to take my vehicle to. On top of that, I got a call an hour later from this same shop saying they were ready to run my credit card for the tow charge. I told them I already handled it up there and not to call me back. I have since taken to another shop who is able to give me an estimate before making me sign authorization for repair orders. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would highly recommend any place other than Joe Stewarts body shop if you want professionalism.

I went to Joe Stewart this morning in an unusual circumstance: My wedding ring had fallen off while in my vehicle and disappeared in to the abyss of a random crack. They took my whole middle console out and found no ring -- even let me look around after they had taken it out so I didnt feel so helpless. I was at the point of giving up when the gentleman asked if I was sure it was in the car. When I hopelessly said it has to be, he responded with then were not giving up.About 30 minutes later, he emerged in to the waiting room with my ring, which had fallen behind some venting system.I am beyond grateful for the generosity of the staff. There was little financial gain in my visit this morning, but every staff member was helpful and hopeful with me. As I waited in the waiting room, their customer service to every guest that walked in was top notch, and I am highly confident that they treat every job with a we wont give up until we fix it/get it right attitude.I will absolutely be going back the next time I am in need of any service they provide.

I was told a week for repairs. 17 days later they were finished. My door locks worked fine when I turned in the vehicle but when it was returned to me the driver door wouldn’t lock mechanically. A week later I have to chase them down by phone to fix the locking mechanism. And they were very expensive. I must have drawn the short straw.

This was the most horrendous experience I have ever had. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service, lack of communication, and job performance. The service provider along with management was very unprofessional. Instead of listening to me (the customer) like he said he would, he disregarded my requests and it lead to my vehicle being at their facility for 3 and a half weeks. The estimated time he gave the insurance company was 5 days. I had two claims from an accident and the other from storm damage. There was no communication with my insurance company nor myself to repair my car. I was told by the body shop we dont like to deal with your insurance. Me knowing this, I told him several times over that long length of time to start working on the bumper from the accident, they did not. My patience eventually ran out and I picked it up unfinished. The entire experience inconvenienced me. It was dissatisfying a paying customer had to endure repulsive treatment from a certified mercedes body shop. That should have provided top of the line service.

Scratch repair on the exterior of my new car was repaired in an excellent manner. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. However, have a major complaint. They apparently washed and detailed the car...which was nice, but not requested. They applied some type of shiny liquid goo all over the dash, seats and doors after they washed it. Now, have lost the new car smell, the seats and dash are darker and hope it didnt get into the pores of the ventilated seats. Its not the best smelling stuff either. There is also over spray of this goo on the interior wood trim and windows. Now, Im going to have to spend hours trying to get this stuff off!

I cannot comment on quality of the worked performed by this business as they still have my car and have had it for 4 wks. The customer service rep has a tendency to be kurt and my service writer lacked consistency. So if you are okay with not having your vehicle for for an extended amount of time and long to spoken to harshly. Youll love it!!
