Around 1986, I had finally found the most amazing and my favorite vintage shop, Flashback. In those days, I would step through the door and a beautiful, beaded, cocktail dress found its way home to my closet. My first apartment was a collection from the side of the road and a magnificent curved, tufted sofa and mid-century side tables that I had on layaway for 6 months. Now, I take my son there to rummage through the vintage clothes, while I practice mindful spending to not buy the whole store. I highly recommend this adventure. Everyone leaves with something, even if it is just a trip down memory lane, or a fabulous piece of jewelry! I really love jewelry!

Flashback has tons of very cool and unique items for sale at very reasonable prices. It was awesome just walking around the store to take everything in, and the owners were welcoming and friendly. Definitely a must see.

Got an incredible army bomber jacket that was an original from the Vietnam period! This place has a wide assortment of items that would appeal to almost anyone. The owner was very kind and helpful! Loved all the funny/ explicit magnets. I will be coming back here every time Im in Memphis!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Someone told me about Flashback & I visited hoping to get some information about estate furniture in Memphis. Even though I wasnt shopping, these folks could not be more cordial, helpful & interested. High character with great customer service!

I LOVE this place. A friend took us there on Sunday and its such a cool place. There are so many neat things to look at. Everything is super clean and in sets. I very much appreciated the ROY G BIV in full effect on the hangers. This is a place I will come to for some unique Christmas gifts. They have clothes, bags, beautiful mid-century mod furniture, collectibles, books, lamps, barware, kitchen items, etc. I plan on bringing my mom when she comes down to visit, its that cool. Definitely will be back!

A very unique store. You really have to be looking for something in in particular though, I found it wasnt the type to just stop in and see something you love. Would be very useful for Halloween though, or a themed dance.

Best shop in Memphis! If youre looking for vintage, mid century this is the place to be. Their items are very well priced for the style of furniture they have. Dont go in thinking youll get something nice for $20, this is worth way more than that. The owners are very knowledgeable about their products and are happy to talk to you about them, they even offered to deliver for me and I am not local by any means. Definitely give this place a stop and check out what they have to offer! I will definitely be returning

I very much enjoyed this place. I was in there for the first time today. The staff are super friendly. They have so many cool retro items for sale as well as other items such as silly coasters. They had some old retro style dinner table sets from the 60s/70s era and a old style refrigerator that looked like one from the 60s I think, maybe it was a later or earlier era. They have clothes and hats as well. Very cool store. Everything is neat and clean. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the store. Will be back again!

Flashback is one of the best antique stores in Memphis, especially if you like mid-century modern and retro (40s-70s) design and fashion.Prices are quite reasonable; and, staff are friendly. Most furniture offered is of extremely high quality.This is a great place to go browse, as the store is not overwhelmingly large, and inventory changes often.Parking is located in the rear of the building, one block west of East Parkway.

Very retroCarries actual vintage inventory, no reproductions ( and I guess since these items are things no one ever thpugjt would be wanted again, they were discarded through time, hence the scarcity and the much higher cost. A lamp your Mom may have bought in 1972 for $20 might cost $225 there.)Still, interesting eclectic mix and very authentic.

An eclectic mix of antique finds and new junk that you just have to have. I did a lot of Christmas shopping as they have a variety of gifts and knick-knacks. You can spend a lot of time just wandering around. They have a variety of antique items ranging from very cheap to very expensive. A lot of coasters, magnets, and beer cozies, too. They also have a clothing section in the back. It really is an experience.

The most unique store in Midtown. If you like all things vintage this is a great place to check out.

I have enjoyed being a customer at flashback for several years now but am very disappointed in a recent experience I had. I purchased a pair of relatively expensive earrings and after two wears the crystal in them fell out in my jewelry box. I spoke with the staff there who were extremely kind and understanding but explained that I would have to speak with the owner before they could assist me. I left my contact information and an explanation of what had happened with the earrings for the owner but did not hear back for over a week. When I finally called back she was very rude toward me, insinuating that I was at fault for not knowing information that had never been shared with me. I brought the earrings in to be repaired, and a very nice gentleman sat with me and explained what he was doing as he did it, but the owner continued to scowl at me, offered no apology, told me that she had only seen this once before making me to feel that I had done something wrong. when I apologized for the inconvenience she turned her back to me. I am extremely disappointed in the ownership at flashback, and I truly hope that she was having a bad day and does not treat all her customers the way I was treated.
