A very professional experience. I had to get an appraisal on a coin collection for an estate. Both the owner and his son were very patient and generous with their time. They explained about the coins, the pluses and the minuses and handled the entire affair both quickly and very courteously. There was no pressure and the entire atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. I would certain recommend this shop to others.

Ive been to countless coin stores all over and this is not only the best but they have every type available with a large selection! Thats both raw and certified, with excellent prices! Very professional staff as well, full of knowledge. Many coin dealers get bad reviews because of someone walking in with a dryer coin or post mint damaged (PMD) coin thinking they struck it rich. Do your research before you go and feelings wont get hurt!

I thought having a medical exemption as a disabled vet would make room to not be discriminated against because of invisible scars BUT I WAS WRONG! This is a store taking public money but won’t serve the disabled vets that can’t wear masks. I even called to schedule time to come alone but was argued with about Medical documents and here I am wanting to patronize the local businesses opened to the public. Shelby county adheres to the Medical Exemptions and you said you don’t consider what Shelby County does but receive our money! You should be truly ashamed! I’m coming to Apmex and JM Bullion instead! Better prices and not inflated!

Curiously stumbled into this shop and ended up with a beautiful new ring to add to my collection. The store is a family owned business which I enjoy because the staff is very hands on, personable, and had an immense knowledge on not only jewelry but also an array of coins. I was expecting to pay a small fortune for the beautiful (sterling silver and turquoise) ring that I purchased but it was seriously so inexpensive and now it’s my favorite place to shop for unique and beautiful staple pieces in jewelry! The first time I was in there my mom brought in a few silver dimes and quarters and like 2 silver certificates the son put on gloves and checked them over and looked them up in the book and gave her $165. My aunt just passed away so I figured Id take part of my collection there for extra cash for the trip to Texas I brought in mercury dimes, barber dimes, v nickels, buffalo nickels, a partial double die 1955 penny, and blank penny planchet, 1- 2016 first strike pcgs ms 69 American eagle dollar, 1- colored 2000 American eagle dollar, 1- 2004 American eagle dollar, 1- 2017 first strike pcgs ms 69 dcam silver dime,1- 1922 peace dollar, 1- 1968 silver 50c piece, 1- 1883 o uncirculated Morgan dollar in sealed case, 1- 1890 o uncirculated Morgan dollar, 7- $1 silver certificates, 1- 1928 g $2 bill, 1- $5 silver certificate etc and only got $117! This time it was the father never used gloves didnt check dates or looked in the book. I spoke to 2 other coin shops they both said I got ripped off, and they had 2 of the same Morgans in bad condition 1 for like $65 and the other for $45. Lesson learned... Definitely wont be taking my 2 gold double eagles or silver bars there. Really disappointed first experience with the son was good.

Im a dealer and always buying to resale on my web site. Once I had bought an ancient Julius Caesar coin I wasnt sure if it was authentic for it was uncertified and the dealer was shady. Mr Tom had himself plus two other numismatist to give me a free opinion. He spent at least an hour working on it and refused to charge me anything. I ask to please let me pay him for his time but he would not allow it.Well He made a friend and a customer as if I need a piece for a customer of mine I always will keep him in mind.Donald H Bell SR
