A lot of storage options for its limited space. Plan ahead, yes reservations.

I rented a 10 foot truck for 3.5 hours. It was easy enough to pick up and drop off. If they had charged my credit card what I had agreed to when I picked up the truck, I would recommend this place. But, they have charged my card 4 times (1 charge returned). U Haul emails or texts me every few days telling me I owe, and they turned me over to their internal collections. I dont have time to keep fighting to get my money back nor do I appreciate getting harassed by Uhaul employees.

Number one hands down for your storage needs. Clean, safe and friendly place to do business. Wont use anyone else for my storage needs.

Automatic entry and exit gates with key card access works great. Facilities are clean and generally well kept. The Babcock entrance is a lot safer than the one on Route 1.New ownership took over in November 2019. Prices have been increased a couple of times, which is not great. Communication is mostly all in person or on the phone, it seems like email or any other electronic communication with the company isnt available. We had water get into our old unit, no damage. But we were forced to upgrade and pay more since no other units in our size were available.The elevator in the E building went out of service a few weeks ago. There was no email sent to people from that unit. Also when I showed up and loaded all of my stuff, there was no out of service sign anywhere. I was sitting in the elevator pushing the button and nothing happened. I had to load the stuff back in my truck and go to the office to ask. The guy said that it was a known issue and that they are waiting on a repair with no ETA. I suggested that they should notify people with units in that building and put an out of service sign on the elevator so that people didnt waste their time, the guy at the desk acknowledged me and just went back to sitting at his desk reading.I left, unable to put items in my unit or take items out via the stairs (due to bulk/weight). Weeks later, I still havent received any kind of notification or communication about the elevator being out of service. I just called and got filled in with all of the details from the manager, Tony. He confirmed that this location and the one north of it have the same management (both owned by u-haul corporate). He said that the elevator was fixed later the same day.

Rented a storage with this facility for over a year and very easy in/out and clean. Michael is a great associate. Super nice and very customer focused.

Have use this facility multiple times.Good people to work with, friendly, cost conscientious, and professional. Have used the rental vehicles multiple times as well.Great pricing, great selection, very easy to work with upon returning.Well keep using them in the future.

People were easy to deal with, nice storage area and safe

Every thing is clean and neat. Including the two lavatories and around the trash bin. The temp is kept at or below the recommended temperature all the time that Ive been there. I have committee material there and am a.frequent visitor; several times in a month. Kate and Ron are very personable and a pleasure to talk with.. Kudos to them.

Late to open. I arrived before 7am so we could stay on schedule. Owner did not open until 7:20. Then he was arrogant and didn’t care he put me back on my schedule. No apology or discount for my lost time. GO ELSEWHERE TO RENT.POLITENESS, an apology, and a caring attitude goes along way.

From the time I pulled into the parking lot to the time I pulled out with a trailer was 48 minutes. The service here is unimaginably slow. Their are several people working here, but only one of them seems to know how to use their computer to process reservations. I have rented here 4 times in the last two months, and every time there is a line of people, and the same single gentleman processes all the rentals, and then hooks up the trailers. The rest of the staff seem to talk and laugh in the back room, and occasionally come out to type stuff on one of the unused checkin computers. To be fair though, the gentleman who handles every rental is courteous and professional.

This people are thieves. They over charge for things you do not order. They charged my credit card 3 times for the same rental. I contacted the office and they were very rude. Avoid yourself a headache and a ripe off

Went above and beyond what was expected! Ive been in multiple storage facilities but none of them were as pleasant as this one. Thank you for your hospitality. Will most certainly would recommend this location to anyone needing storage.

Terrible service is an understatement. It first started when it took forever for someone to answer the phone to make a reservation. When I went in to pick up the truck, there was one person in front of me. I kid you not, I waited in line for ONE HOUR. The worker (Ron?) literally sat there talking with the customer about irrelevant things both inside and outside the store. I understand the fact that sometimes people are short staffed, but never should it even be acceptable to spend THAT much time with one client when you have other people waiting. By the time he got to me, there was at least 8 people waiting behind me. The worker guy was rude to me like I was inconviencing him. Little did he know he was inconviencing me! Never once did he apologize for the wait or acknowledge the fact that I was sitting there for an absorbent amount of time. The same exact situation happened when returning the vehicle, however this time it was a female, and she was just as pleasant as the first worker (total sarcasm). U-HAUL needs to hire more staff who actually act like they like their job even just a little bit. There’s so much competition in this field that it is pretty detrimental that you provide good customer service or you will be out of business! Thank you for the terrible experience. Never will I recommend this place, nor return.

I had a great experience. I highly recommend U-Haul Storage of Melbourne for a clean, secure, and well managed storage solution. Ron and Kathy are great and truly care about their customers.

Our business Indian River Antique Mall always gets great service at U-Haul. Their prices are competitive for wrapping paper and boxes which we buy a lot of.

Had a hitch installed. they did a good job. took over an hour just to get checked out...guess there was not enough staff that day and the AC was out so it was really really hot.

First of all, the phones are never answered. Second, theres only ever 1 person working the counter. Third, theyre obnoxiously slow. Especially for a task that they said is easy peasy and the labor cost is rediculous. So they either milk the labor or they just dont know what theyre doing. They made me change my appointment day so they could take off work, then after I brought in my car 30 minutes early they told me theyd get started right away but theyre 20 minutes behind? And after an hour and 30 minutes they said at least 20 more minutes. After 20 more minutes they said theyre just now installing it.....Awesome. And somehow I owe $200 for all of this.

Ron and Kathy were awesome during our transfer from the uhaul up the street from them. They were extremely helpful in all aspects. Any of these negative reviews must be from the other UHaul near by that rents trucks also, they were horrible and that is why I transfered our things into this one. Very clean also. Highly recommend !!!!

Bunch of Crooks! I am from NC and my dad picked up the trailer to bring some things from FL to me here. I paid for the trailer over the phone and SPECIFICALLY said, just charge me for the trailer, nothing else- no insurance. They said OK and took my card info. My dad goes to pick it up and they tell him to hit I Accept. He asks what he was clicking and they said, dont worry, your daughter already paid and specified what she wanted, just hit I accept. So he did and come to find out they charged me for the insurance that I specifically told them not to charge me for. I called UHaul while he was still in route and not only is it impossible to get a hold of these people because they are automatically forwarded to dispatch so you cant even leave a message, but once I got them on the phone - they said they could do nothing since he hit I accept. I explained that they tricked him and she said that there was nothing she could do. She knew it and still did nothing. I called Regional and Corporate about the fact that they tricked my dad and I am now out over $80 - NOTHING. They say they can not over ride a general manager. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I will NEVER rent a Uhaul again and sadly I have rented from them over a dozen times. They do nothing, they dont care about their customers and they have shysters for managers.

People were just fine, cost was less then most, use of carts etc was helpful, never had issues with payments etc...biggest pet peeve is the hours.

Recommend you use this self-storage facility as a last resort! In the 16 months I rented from this company, I paid in excess of my required payment and made all of my payments but one prior to the due date. However I received 12 delinquent notices, and the emergency contact on the account received 5 delinquent mailed notices, 5 pre-lien notices, 1 fourth stage delinquency notice and was locked out of the storage at least I time! Their accounting procedures as well as customer service indicate a level of incompetence I have not been involved in thru-out my 40 years of doing business with various companies. I’ve made numerous attempts to get the issue corrected and ended up going around in circles. This experience is not only involves the clerk, but management as well. Therefore I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere for your storage requirements! If I could give less than 1 star I would.
