First, never drop your IPhone in the ocean. Second, if you do, immediately turn it off and take it to Richard at Mr. Chips. Immediate service, professional certified work, all done as promised. Hopefully I will never drop a phone in the ocean again, but I will certainly go to Mr. Chips if I do!

Steer clear from Rich Richmond. Steals money in terms of time, and steals data. I found my background image of my wife on one of his computers.

I went in to see what computers they had to offer. After talking with the owner, he recommended a rig to me based on the software and games I wanted to run. It was a pretty good price so I took it. After spending some time with it, I discovered it wasnt really as capable as he made it seem. So, I went back and asked to return it.This is where the problems occured. I was told there is no return policy. This wasnt told to me prior, though I probably should have asked. When I explained that it doesnt do what he said it would do, he argued with me and tried saying I was lying. Finally after some back and forth he admitted he doesnt have any idea about games and wouldnt know if it could play them. What? That was the whole reason I bought it, his assurance as a professional. The best part came when, since I wouldnt back down and just keep it as he wanted, he told me again that there are no returns and handed me a paper underneath his desk that had the official policy for returns. Except this policy stated they do accept returns, minus a return fee. I pointed this out and he looked dumbfounded for a minute. Took the paper back and said uh yeah, you would have to pay the fee.Of course I accepted the fee, happy to wash my hands of this. He told me he would have his tech look at it and call me back before he would refund me. When the tech called he started talking about how it wouldnt run what I wanted and needed more expensive tech inside. The tech was told to check if it could run the stuff I wanted, he had no idea it was for a return! Being lied to does not make me want to spend more money. I went back when other customers were there and the owner quickly hurried me to the counter and processed the return minus their fee.

Richard is unprofessional and only looks for his best interest. I was given my laptop back in pieces after previously paying $220 to replace a bad hard drive. The next day after picking it up it would not turn on. I took it back and was told it would be an additional $150 to fix. I decided to purchase a new laptop else where and just pick up my laptop. I picked it up in literal pieces. Rich refused to put it back together without charging me. I was never told I would get charged when I dropped it off. Rich spoke over me as I expressed my complaint with a lack of professionalism and any customer service skills. He called back shortly after asking to buy my laptop parts for well under what they are worth. He is a scam artist. DO NOT CALL MR CHIPS

Id just come from Best Buy where I was told repairs would cost 250-400 bucks and would take at least 2 weeks. I went to Mr.Chips afterwards and he told me hed have it done by Jan.7, which was a single week and perfect timing since school was starting. Sure enough, a week later the screen was fixed and the final bill was $192. I cant speak for the other reviews but given my experience the service was outstanding and Ill continue to come to Mr. Chips if my future experiences are anything like my first.

They did a very good job transferring my clients data over after nuking the computer to factory state, however, finding an unactivated windows 7 (They didnt even type the product key into Windows), not installing all the drivers (easily identified in Device Manager), finding malware on A FRESH INSTALL OF WINDOWS and installing software that is not recommended for new computer users/ users with impairments is very concerning. We rely on businesses that are local to our customers to assist us with jobs we cannot perform without driving from New Jersey to the state they live in. I would not recommend them based off of the experience Ive had with the work they performed. I cannot speak for their customer service as my client is the one who dealt with them, I am only reviewing their work.

Seriously, take warning. The guy wasted no time trying to tell me I was ripped off and I need to buy his product. Offered no real help. Only interested in trying to sell me stuff I know I dont need. Do not waste your time and money at this racket.

Took my printer to get fixed on Saturday, called on Monday and told It had to sit for a while. Called on Tuesday and told They lost a spring. Called on Wednesday and told They fixed it but there was a cartridge error. When I went to pick it up I was told by the owner that they put crazy glue on the broken part and charged me $37.00 and if it doesnt work when I take it home then I should just buy a new one, and of course, it did not work. Worst customer service I have ever recieved. I could have done a better job than them. I do not recommend going to this place.

Not a very pleasant person to talk too. He very much dominated the conversation and over talked me every chance he got. If you want someone who is patient in listening to what the problem is, do not call this company!
