I called D&H Magic Air because a very good friends mothers air stopped working and got a quote from another company saying that replacing the entire system was the only fix. A technician showed up within an hour of me calling, replaced a capacitor and cleaned the coils, had the system back working in an hour for only a couple hundred dollars. And the technician help my friends mother, who has late stage cancer, with some odds and ends around the house at the same time. I love honest people.Gregory Keenan
We called them for our Business, Home on the Range Cafe. The tech Chris was very informative and courteous. They are the most reasonable, informative and honest A/C company that we have ever used. Would highly recommend them
Buyer beware. My (near totally) disabled mother purchased a high quality Trane unit several years ago. Recently, a Freon leak was discovered in the A coil. The unit product was not registered for warranty within 60 days by D&H Magic Air. As reported by Trane, submission for warranty occurred 30 days late, therefore making the warranty null and void. As a result, I have to pay $2300 instead of $975. Upon speaking with the president of D&H Magic Air, my use of the word negligence hit a nerve. It made it difficult for him to hear what I was saying from that moment forward. The conversation ended by him hanging up on me on the heels of literally yelling at me over the phone. As with anywhere else, there are so many aspects of a purchase. Especially a larger one. Make sure that all of your bases are covered so this doesnt happen to you. 😣
After working with other A/C companies in town. D&H finally solved my repair needs. My unit was not properly sealed. After a 30 minute service call, my air was blowing colder than ever. I would HIGHLY recommend.
The Saturday afternoon after Hurricane Irma, Chris came out within 2 hours and fixed my problem within minutes for the cost of a service call. So grateful for reliable and honest business people! Thank you, D & H!
Chris came out to give me an appraisal on a Saturday and my A/C had been off for about 18 hours on July 8-9th. It was 90 degrees in the house. He found the capacitor has just gone out. Replaced that and BAM A/C was working like it should. Very grateful. Quality service. Others could have told he I needed a new system, but I appreciate the honesty.
Had compound issues with Heat Pump, Chris worked through the weekend to get us up and running. Excellent workmanship.
