I had an amazing experience with the AAMCO in Melbourne. Originally I took my car to the AAMCO in cocoa and they strongly suggested that I needed a transmission rebuild quoted at $3500. 3 weeks later after not being able to drive my car I decided to take the car to AAMCO in Melbourne, they called me 2 hours later and told me it was a $10 fuse and my car drives like new!! I am incredibly grateful for their honesty. I will be taking my car to them from now on! Thanks again Melbourne AAMCO.

Professional and good service dealing with Anthony. On the way down transmission started acting up called Aamco early Monday morning they determined it needed transmission rebuild. They took us to a rental car place and got a good rate on rental car Transmission was repaired by Wednesday.Made a bad problem easy to deal with. Was a little high but since the warranty was nationwide made it worth it.

Words cannot express how excellent the service was done here. Our car was having ongoing electrical issues. Anthony and Steve went above and beyond answering our questions. That work is so tedious but they took their time along with their mechanics to diagnose the problem. Communication was excellent and they truly cared about fixing the problem. Steve was great to work with. I called mid-day on a Thursday and he had a 9AM appointment for me the following day.My transmission was shifting a little rough, and shuttering at high speeds. Common F-150 problem, apparently.Like promised, the appointment took less than 2 hours. My transmission feels much smoother and shifts flawless. Their service included dropping the pan, replacing the filter, and installing a new gasket.Their prices are super reasonable and overall I left paying half of what the dealership had quoted me.Would definitely go back for more services from them.

Steve was such a pleasure to work with! He thoroughly explained to me what the diagnostics revealed (I needed a new transmission). Not only that, but he explained specifically which parts needed replacement and what each part’s role is. He worked hard to find the lowest cost solution, which resulted in a transmission rebuild. He searched near and far to source for the correct parts at the best price which was not easy given the widespread supply chain issues resulting from COVID. He never rushed me on the phone and was extremely respectful and open, allowing me to ask all of my questions. Would absolutely recommend!

I cannot recommend this business enough! I bought a used car that had a bad transmission and normally that is something that strikes fear into the hearts of car owners everywhere. Each part of the process and the options were described clearly thoroughly and accurately without any condescending tones. My knowledge of cars isn’t great and I truly appreciated the explanations because it gave me the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision. I plan to use this shop for all future needs. I called around lunch time to find out what I would need to do to get a brake line replaced because it had rusted through. Anthony was very helpful and gave me as much information about expectations as he could without seeing the vehicle, yet. I was able to bring it in that afternoon even though they were extremely busy. They called several places to get the part I needed at the best price and had my vehicle ready the next day even though they were swamped and had issues finding the part. They didn’t try to force extra repair work on me, but they did let me know what problems may occur due to the car being driven while damaged so I can watch for issues. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable! These guys know customer service! I have been in the automobile repair industry for just over 30 years now, and I would put these guys at the top of the list when it comes to service! Dropped my 2006 F150 off with a bad transmission, had it back in 3 days, full rebuild, has 266k on it. The price was on point for what needed to be done, no gouging, no bs, and called me with the diagnosis the very same day. I have only just moved back after being gone over 20 years, and was very skeptical about being able to find someone who I felt I could trust to not try to work me over. I was referred to Steve at Aamco by another person in auto repair, he has referred several there with great feedback. I hope to never need these services again, but if I do, I will only go back to Steve and Anthony. I will definitely spread the word about them, and hope they continue to see great success! I am really angry that I used them. I took my car for loose steering. They told me that they has spoken to Hyundai and been told about a known issue with the steering. AAMCO told me that it was going to cost between $1,200 and $1,500 to repair, less than $300 labor. They charged me a $250 diagnostic fee.When I got the car home I looked up the known issue. I bought the part that was the culprit for less than $6 on amazon. It took me about 5 hours to fix the problem myself. I have driven the car about 3,000 miles since the repair and the car handles like new.I am mostly upset that I got charged $250 for a diagnostic fee when it was clearly a misdiagnosis or dishonesty. It is very hard to find a mechanic that you can trust. These guys seemed professional and conscientious, but I am really disappointed and feel like I got ripped off $250.

Folks I’m serious if you need transmission work done go to these guys. They not only know what they’re doing, but treat their customers like family. Very rare these days.I took my 2000 Jeep Wrangler in for a total rebuild over a year ago. They did a great job! I take it off road a lot and beat it up pretty good. We had a great experience with AAMCO. Steve assisted us with our car repair assessment needs. AAMCO service and continued care for our car has been outstanding. I would recommend AAMCO for all your transmission care needs. Many companies will not offer a decent warranty for transmission work. If you plan to have your transmission rebuilt consider AAMCO as they have a warranty that backs up their work. I have had two transmissions rebuilt over the last 12 years (2 different state AAMCOs)...they are no doubt our go to place for this kind of work. Thanks AAMCO and team for keeping us going.

Also the Warranty gives me a peace of mind and lets Customers know that should something go amiss they will fix the problem. I am grateful to the Staff and will continue to bring our Vehicles to Aamco . You also get a free 10 day follow-up CHECK UP to make sure all seals are secure and in place. I wasnt able to take advantage of that extra security,however,it is offered, and thats GREAT!! Great Job!! Fair and Honest!! They ran the diagnostics and it was not our Transmission. It was the ABS brake system that was messing with our Transmission. They called 3 times and updated us on the problem. Very professional and fair. They fixed the problem and we were so happy with the work. Our charger has never run better. In May, my vehicle was towed to this AAMCO location and the shift cable was replaced; service was excellent, prompt, and professional. My car was dropped off near closing the day prior and communication was always on time and clear. I had been chasing a sound that came and went, had been to 4-5 different shops with no luck. When I took my car to this AAMCO, I was impressed with the good nature and polite customer service of Assistant Mgr. Anthony. I asked them to take their time to try to pinpoint the sound but to please find it. I was called that afternoon with the diagnosis and repair estimate. I agreed to it (fair price, fully explained to me). When I picked my car up and drove it off, I was SUPER happy to see the sound was GONE. My car no longer sounds like a hoopty! AAMCO diagnosed it correctly and fixed it for a fair price. Cant beat that!

No one likes an expensive repair. However, I was very pleased with the information I received. Everything was explained thoroughly. I was offered a financing option through Synchrony Bank/Amoco Credit, which I used. The staff helped me apply in the office, and approved me right away. I had a full rebuild of my transmission with a twelve month warranty. The job was delivered as promised, and they fixed a gas leak for me too. There is a reason this shop has been here so long: good service. Thank you Anthony!

I had a 1:30 appointment to diagnose a problem, the gentleman at the front desk was courteous and professional. I had to wait a whopping 1 minute for them to take my van on a test drive to determine what was causing a shuddering at around 40 miles per hour. Im grateful for their honesty in telling me it wasnt a very costly repair that I expected which they could of said it was, and Id have to trust them. Gave them 5 stars because the bathrooms and lobby are clean:) I got my oil changed and front struts replaced and front brakes and rotors done. Customer service is great, everyone was really nice and professional. I didnt feel pressured at all about the things that were recommended to me. (Maybe because I know my car is older and needed the work.) They even helped me prioritize what was most important and potential safety hazard because I couldnt afford to get everything done at once.Will definitely be back to get the other stuff done. Ive also had estimates of the work done at other places and they were very reasonable.Would recommend them.

I own an Infiniti QX56, I had a exhaust manifold fail, car sounded like a Harley LOL! either way I brought my vehicle to them after I had already taken it to another shop that really wasnt correct on other issues my car had, bottom line they fixed my vehicle and dealt with my warranty company. they went above and beyond customer service and had my vehicle before the estimated time frame given to pick up. Anthony is a great and professional person, and same for Steve.. I recommend this place. also great prices less than what I was quoted at other places.

Clearly the superior transmission repair shop in Melbourne. Clean facility, professional staff and did what they said they would do. Car was ready as promised and did not try to up sell to a complete transmission overhaul and took the time to diagnose the root cause. Minor repair from a transmission prospective. Cost was less than 1/3 of other quotes received in town.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! Do not trust them.I took my car in with a small leak at the axle seal and with a vibration you could feel in the accelerator at a certain speed.Long story short, $800 later and the vibration was still not fixed despite them telling me the technician had driven the car twice and found no vibration. Apparently their technicians arent very good . Vibration still there, easily felt and heard. I later found it myself (Wheel bearing).

This place will rip you off and do shotty work. My girlfriends car needed a starter and a/c work done. They said the starter was good, got car back and as soon as the car warmed up it would not start, first fail. They took bolt out of oil dipstick and didnt put back in, second fail. They changed hose for a/c and charged with Freon, worked for 2 months now blows hot again, that cost $1000, third fail. These peeps will stick it to you as hard as they can. BEWARE or PAY THE PRICE, youve been warned!!!!

AAMCO has done a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing some tricky mechanical issues on an older vehicle. Originally I thought that all they do was transmissions, but turns out they are a full service shop. They diagnosed several issues with brakes, steering, and electrical -- and were very friendly and reasonable. Besides that they are a very caring team - Rich, Steve, and mechanic Dennis are top notch.

My wife and i were in Melbourne Fl.and our transmission went out with out warrrning, we barely made it to their parking lot, and received exceptional service from the beginning to end! right down to them calling around for a rental car and getting us a exceptional deal on that also.i am a mechanic myself and know that the tech. whom looked at it was exceptionally knowledgeable! i do not think we could have received better service anywhere! just wanted to say thank you! This shop is RIDICULOUS, I took my car last week to this people to diagnosed it, If there is something wrong with my transmission, I spoke to one of their mechanic and he told me its free to diagnosed, And I end up having more problem including my alternator. They mesh up my alternator, When I pick up my car to take it to another shop they didnt even put the bolt back to connect to the alternator and the car stop in the middle of the traffic And thank goodness there is a nice guy who help me( God is Good) this guy is a mechanic, he told me that there is no bolt on the alternator and AAMCO forgot to put it back. I took my car to another shop and ended up buying a new alternator & battery. This people they cannot be TRUSTED!!!!BE VERY CAREFUL...

Steve was awesome over there. From the time I called and explained my situation until I picked up my vehicle everything was flawless. They covered me on every aspect of my dilemma. My cars transmission went out on my way back from Jacksonville and I broke down off of an exit in a wal mart parking lot. I left my vehicle as it was already to late to contact a shop. The next morning I contacted Aamco and spoke with Steve who was super helpful, right off the bat he arranged for a tow truck to pick my vehicle up and bring it to his shop this was 9AM . By the time I stopped my daughter off at school he had given the tow truck company my info and they were calling me to arrange a pick up time. By 11AM my car was on the back of a truck and headed to his shop. Oh yeah they took care of the tow bill so that I didnt have to come out of pocket right away due to the fact that my warranty company would pay for it once the repairs were complete. All he asked for was a copy of the warranty and my key and he would take care of the rest I didnt even have to go to the shop. After he diagnosed the issue he informed me what the warranty would cover and we proceeded forward. Steve was so helpful that he offered to hook me up with a rental car if I hadnt already found one. Even told me the rates to help me save some money. My transmission came in on Tuesday morning and by wednesday afternoon my car was done. Mind you this happend Friday of memorial day weekend and even with the warranty company dragging their feet he stayed on top of everything and for that I am truly grateful. This place was no nonsense and honest about everything from start to finish. All I had to pay was my deductible, no surprise charges or extra money necessary.I would give them 10 stars if I could. My car rental only covers 5 days and literally on my last day of the rental I was picking up my car. They made this so easy for me and my family that I will never trust any other shop to work on my vehicles. Thank you Aamco and Thank you Steve, you have restored my faith in mechanic shops once again. Until next time.

A huge thank you to the employees of the aamco in Melbourne. After going through a 2 week nightmare with another transmission shop, Aamco had excellent customer service and put my mind at ease about my truck. There is a reason that since I was a teenager, I have heard the AA(beep, beep)MCO commercial on t.v. I am now 55 years old and have learned that good businesses stick around. I only wish I would have went to Aamco in the beginning. If there are any more problems with my truck, you better beleive that Aamco is the first place Ill call. Thank all of you again, you guys are great.another HUGE thank you to the employees at Aamco. New front wheel bearings on my 2006 jeep commander. Done in half a day, good price, and friendly atmosphere. Maybe thats why my neihbor Mac was there getting work done as well. Truck is running great and Alot quieter. Thank you again. All I need to find now is an Aamco sticker for my jeep. I think it should be on there since you guys are the ones keeping it on the road. And at 13 years old and 131000 miles, ill probably be calling for more work. But I love my jeep.
