I traveled from Miami to North Carolina, and a Semi sent something in the air, hitting our windshield. Their professional and kind manner made me and the kids feel great and safe. Massive Thank you to the whole team!! Was there under an hour, and they had us back on the road again.

Excellent & quick services. Back window replaced. Affordable. Coffee/tea facilities, bathroom with TV. Friendly staff. They have a small waiting area. Due to covid-19 it can only seat up to 6 people, I suggest to drop off your vehicle then pick up later.

I was impressed for the most part at their efficiency and professionalism.EXCEPT when I questioned the accuracy of their driver assist recalibration of the driver assist cameras. The tech put it all upon the computer The reality of it is: It is as accurate as the equipments set-up.I had watched Re-cal videos prior to going there. I guess that is why I asked the question ?

Maybe we caught these people on a bad weekend, but the whole experience we had with them was very unprofessional, and not what I was expecting from Safelite. We scheduled a repair using the website. I selected an available time, and put in the required information. Someone from the company called and left a mumbled, barely audible message saying that they couldnt come out at the selected time, but would be out the next day, and to only call them back if that would be a problem. The next morning they called to reschedule again. Again mumbled and barely audible. At that point I had enough, called them back, and told them no. Great first and last impression Safelite.

URGENT: Please don’t be turned off by the U.S. National CV-19 Customer Service Answering System. Unfortunately, because of the government, you cannot get ahold of the store directly and the fear of dropping your car off for an ENTIRE DAY, was a bit menacing along with the warning of strict mask guidelines. Once there, the professionals at this Safelite knew exactly what they were doing. They apologized for any perceived misdirection. There was no 😷 mandate, just articulate, hardworking, well mannered staff. There were folks sitting in their lobby waiting patiently for their repairs. Thankfully I was informed up front, that there might be an issue calibrating the front camera with an off-the-shelf windshield, which is what insurance approves, and therefore we might need to order the original part from Honda which could take longer. Thankfully, Randy called only a couple hours later saying the car had calibrated fine and was ready for pick up. This continues to be a well known and highly regarded business. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for this type of repair.

A joke. Dont waste your time. Scheduled to have a pin head sized chip repaired on a Saturday. Showed up to be told it would take 3 hours or more. Rescheduled for mobile repair at my home for the following Saturday between 8am and 12pm. Come Saturday (after rescheduling work and forfeiting my Saturday morning) I recieve a call at 9am telling me no one is coming.Unprofessional and unreliable. Support a local small buisness and take your vehicle somewhere else.

I have been waiting 3 months for a windshield for a brand new vehicle. Ive received one follow up phone call and that was only after I refiled a claim with my insurance company. They just keep referring me back to Safelite, who doesnt answer their phone. You cant leave a message and the answering machine only refers you to their website to make an appointment. Their customer service is one of the worst and all I want is a little communication and maybe an update. Dont I deserve that?

Amazing! Rob was my technician and he explained everything exceptionally well including the process and what to expect. I got to my appointment on time and anticipated a 45 min wait but Rob had my repair done in under 20mins. Fast great service and amazing staff. Would absolutely recommend.

Called and scheduled appointment for mobile service. I was out of town, so my wife handled the interaction with tech. Showed up and charged my wife 366.98 upfront only to come back and say that he found rust, and couldnt do the job. Wife had to scramble to find another local guy who could do this asap, as we were planning in moving out of state the following week.Found another guy to do the work, said he found NO RUST. Called safelite in West Melbourne and talked to assistant manager. Told me that techs dont accept payments!?!?! She also said that order was canceled due to rust, and that order was canceled and not charged...Well, here i am Tuesday August 10th, still in FL waiting for my car to be fixed by another company, and I still have a 366.98 charge in my account. Asked for receipt of cancelation three days ago, never got it. I pretty much got scammed. Stay away!!!

I had a warranty repair with my 2017 Honda Civic as there was an issue with the molding on a previous install. The whole process was very easy, making a claim through my insurance, scheduling an installation at my home, left the car outside and it was fixed in a couple hours Thiago did an awesome job fixing the issue, the molding looks as good as new. I would highly recommend this place, ask for Thiago to repair your windshield, hes an expert installer!

My winshild now leakes when never did

Terrible customer service. Safelite replaced windshield via insurance company then sold spouse wiper package with warranty. Safelite would not replace poor quality, overpriced, wiper blades under their warranty after they wore out in only 4 months. Numerous excuses why the tech or store wouldnt replace them. Drove 45 minutes to the shop only to be told their system was down and wouldnt install wipers. Asked for a full refund and now getting run around. Store manager is rude, unhelpful, and full of excuses. Filed a complaint with BBB, Insurance company, and local news outlet for warranty scam. Wasted time and money on these overpriced wipers.

They did an amazing job fixing the windshield and then reattaching our stuff on it they even added new sticky things to make sure things stayed stuck. The parking lot isnt the most convenient but its really easy to get to. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Very reliable and respectful place. My side passenger window was cracked and I couldnt find a place to replace it that didnt say it would be two or three weeks for it to come in. A friend referred them to me. When I called the local office they were very nice and professional. They told me to i could have it done not only within three days but cheaper than any other quote it had gotten from the other shops i call. When I arrived I was told it would take about an hour to wait in the lounge. It took them 35 minutes from the time I arrived to finish the work on my vehicle. I was very impressed. I do recommend them highly..

They replaced my windshield. During the process they cut my rear view camera cable. Not a big deal, the installer told the truth and the management personnel said they would pay to repair it. 2 weeks past by and they wouldnt answer my calls or anything (Still no back up camera). Finally I got ahold of someone and they said I needed to get them the quote for the repairs. That information would have been nice to know 2 weeks earlier. Now I have the quote, but they would give me a call back to tell me where to email the quote. Its been over a month since the windshield replacement & they still havent made right the damage that they caused to my truck.I will NOT being using Safelite again. I wouldnt even trust them to replace the mirror on my kids bicycle.

Worst place ever to get your winshield replaced I have a 20 year old truck of course. Now you guys say your sorry and to call you and when I do your operator says nothing we can do I tell him Ill go else where he says ok. Well heres my recipt to colemans glass in west melbourne that said there was no rust.

If you want to talk to a person forget it. You only get the automated system.Ill go to a dealership, where you can get someone who cares about your business.

It took 3 weeks and they still didnt get the right windshield. They didnt even care either. Three seperate appointments with missing work and nothing but a hard time and a attitude from them. Do yourself a favor and dont even waste your time here. HORRIBLE.

This was my first windshield repair. I had a few questions, and Matthew was very informative and helpful. I got my car back within the estimated time frame with e windows cleaned and the front area vacuumed.Hopefully, I dont need to be back, but if I get another crack in my glass, I will be back.

I made an appointment a week ago and the technician didnt show up no call no email no nothing a complete lack of professionalism.So I have to reschedule and the soonest they can do the work is in another week and from some of the other reviews I have read they may clame they cant work on it for some BS reason. I wish it was possible to give them negative stars, now I have to take care of the water damage inside the car because my window wasnt fixed when I was told it would be. No faith in this company!

I got a chip on my windshield on my brand new car from driving behind a truck on I95. I called Safelite and they set me up right away to get my windshield replaced. Everything was smooth and fast!

My story started in Corpus Christi, Tx with a windshield replacement in 2019. August 2p20 I took vehicle to shop in Melbourne, FL to have rubber seal repaired under warranty. Several days later we had rain and windshield recently installed was leaking down dash. Took it back a week after second repair for leak repair...and finally!!! Third times a charm!! I suggest if Safelite does your repair/replace...spray it down before you leave their shop...Two windshields and three visits and they finally got it right...enough said.

Truly disappointed 😞 service was good but the Quality Control was 👎BAD on my Front windshield was installed with Big Defects within the New Windshield 😢and no one caught it..🤔

I had two small cracks in the windshield, both smaller than the size of a dime. I found the online scheduling to be very easy. I was notified by email when the appointment was booked, by text and even a reminder text later on. When I arrived there were two employees behind the glass in the reception office, and they were both working with the gentleman in front of me. Im not sure why one of them couldnt direct attention to me or the line that started to form behind me. Once the gentleman was finished it was now 15 minutes past my appointment. I was checked in and told that they were running behind and it would take 40 minutes to an hour. Almost two hours later, my car was returned to me with only one crack repaired. Not only was one of the cracks not repaired, but it expanded and is now the size of a dollar bill. I was told that this happened while they were trying to repair it, and now they recommend replacement. But good news, its free with my insurance if I have comprehensive coverage. They didnt charge me for the repair since it got worse, but now I have to make an insurance claim (which may or may not affect my rates), drive around with a significantly cracked windshield while I wait for the scheduled day this can be taken care of, and have to be without my car again for several hours another day. Im highly dependent on my vehicle for both work and personal use, and all of this time in the shop is taking money out of my pocket, even if it is a free repair from an insurance company.

The gentleman, Don I think, who took care of replacing the big windshield managed to salvage the toll road sticker and masterfully place it on the new windshield in the same spot we had it hiding on the old. Waited a week and a half for them to come repair a chip on my 2019 Ford F150. Tech shows up, takes a look and says they cant repair because it was repaired before, it had not. Its a brand new truck that never has left my possession and I seen when the chip happened.This was an insurance job and the tech showed up simply to jack up the price charged to my insurance company.This is why insurance cost are so high is fraudsters such as this. Do not allow them to even look at your vehicle.

Great job!!!! We were on vacation in Florida. We picked up a stone chip in Atlanta on the drive down from Michigan. This Safelite location got the job done right and on time. They were even honest that the repair of the chip might still spread due to it being a few inches away from the corner. Thanks again for the great job repairing our windshield.

My windsheild had to be replaced due to a huge crack. My insurance company made the appointment for me and pre- warned me it would be about 3 hours to complete the process. I go to drop the truck off and Im greeted by Don (as he saw me get out of my truck and knew I had an appointment). He informed me it would be about 1.5 hours. To say the least I was already a little happier at that time. I came back a little earlier. I was greeted by Don again and informed on the timing left for my truck. When he went to give me the key he also informed me he had vacuumed my truck (totally unexpected). I did have one small request for him (for the stickers that were on the windshield) and he went above and beyond with that as well. Would highly recommend this shop! Hopefully I will not need to return, but if I do Ill ask for Don!

What a disappointment! I went online on a Wednesday seeking a windshield replacement. On their website I paid in full in advance and got a schedule for the next day in the afternoon. During their window of arrival on Thursday afternoon they called me and said that they couldnt come until Saturday. I cancelled and went to Novus in Rockledge who did it the following morning and they did a great job. Go to Novus!

Scheduled an apt to have my windshield replaced. The technician got here and immediatly doubted he could do the repair because the windshield had stress cracks. Then he pulled the trim and claimed there was too much surface rust. As an automotive guy,, I know rust and this car had dirt and debri but it was not rusty. What a joke. Update your policies and allow your techs to do work.

After my car had been broken into, dealing with the aftermath was certainly easier and a lot less painful due to the service here. The gentleman who serviced my car was very kind and thorough and even apologized when it took longer than he felt comfortable with. They got me in quickly which I appreciated, as it protected my car from further damage

Despite one scheduling hiccup, Safelite, and specifically Trevor, did a great job. He drove from Melbourne to my house in Sebastian and replaced a shattered rear windshield.

I had to get a chip in my windshield fixed. We travelled 15,000 miles this last year and in Georgia just before we got to FL for the winter a truck kicked up a rock and got our windshield. These things are expensive in an RV and I wanted it repaired so we dont have to replace the whole thing.Keith came out from Safelite in Melbourne and he was very professional and informed us well of the job details and the risk of a crack (1 in 1000 will crack). We went with the repair and it was great!! You can hardly see the chip and now we can rest easy that it wont come apart on the road when we get moving again shortly.It was 136 bucks. (Well worth it when you consider the cost of a new wind screen).I got a call and email and text when he was 30 minutes out - nice - I got a chance to get my coffee on.I have used Safelite before in Virginia and now here in FL. Always great service. I hope to never have to require their services again - but if I do - I know a great company that does the job right.Ill add a few photos.

Some kids standing on a bridge threw rocks at my car and cracked the windshield. I called my insurance company and they arranged an appointment with Safelite Auto Glass. I dropped my car off at 9:30am and picked it up at 11:40. They did a great job installing the windshield and their service was prompt, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend using Safelite Auto Glass for cracked windshields.

After my wife called on a long shot, she was told they do replace window motors and they made an appointment at the end of the next week. The poor technician called me the day before because they never asked her for the VIN number and he needed it before he could do anything. Told us the part needed to be ordered. Never heard back. The staff never shouldve taken the appointment if they dont replace motors. At least contact people to let them know they wont be doing the work.

The window replacement turned out excellent, as far as Im considered right now. However, it took them forever. The amount of time they said it would take to be completed was far off from how long it actually took. I was sitting there waiting, waiting, waiting. I just wish they gave a more accurate telling of how long the wait would actually have been, that way I couldnt done something more productive with my time, instead of staring at a TV in the lobby. Other than that, it was fine.

My experience was amazing. The tech Jesus came my house and was very courteous and polite. He had an abundance of knowledge and did a fantastic job. I would recommend to anyone.

Great experience. It was my first time ever getting a windshield replaced and they made it an easy hassle free experience. Very professional and they accomplished the job within the time frame given. As soon as I pulled up and checked in they were ready to go. I was able to see inside the shop through the waiting area and they were very careful throughout the whole process. My 2018 BMW needed the windshield replaced. Safelite did an excellent clean job. The technician went the extra mile to ensure that I was happy with the results. I highly recommend Safelite.Tip: Most car insurances have a zero deductible for fixing or replacing car windshields in the state of Florida. My car insurance (Geico) paid Safelite directly without any money out of my pocket.

Umm, where do i start?It took ONLY 4 different techs.Three appointmentsand two weeks to get a windshield installed for me.Oh, and Im still waiting for the gift card they said would be sent to me for my patience.Update.A year later still no gift card.

Online scheduling of repair is limited to glass chips only. Their send a photo link is inop. If online appointment scheduling is the only option, use someone else.

I am rating them 2 stars because during my first experience with them they were ok. I went to the original appointment and they told me I would have to go back another day since they didn’t have the windshield. So I Went back and they replaced it.Now this is my second time needing my windshield replaced. I have Progressive as my insurance. I go to the appointment and leave my car to later get a call that the glass they have is defective and they have to order a new one directly from the dealership. I was told this would require insurance approval and it might take up to a week to get it. I said ok. A week went by and I didn’t hear from them so I called them. Needless to say, it is imposible to get someone to answer the phone. When the girl finally answered the phone she couldn’t even see a “work order” or anything linked to my name or phone number. She put me on hold and then told me that they were working on it. I asked her if they were going to call me back or if I had to call them to get updates. She said they would call me. Days passed and I called again but nobody answered. I finally decided to call Progressive. It’s been one week Calling the insurance back and forth to get to nothing. Apparently someone billed for the work that has not been done yet and In order to release that they need a manager to do it before I can get my windshield replaced or go to a different shop. Apparently the manager is never there or no one is giving him the messages Progressive has been leaving for him to release those charges. After he does that I have to wait another 72 hrs before I can go to a different shop. This is a lot of BS

Scheduled online to repair 1 chip in windshield...had an appointment 45 minutes later. In and out in about 30 minutes. Yeah!

We waited close to three hours to have my windshield replaced after being told it would take 60 minutes on the phone and having an appointment. The work was completed and it is fixed but if their quoted times are unrealistic they need to let customers know so that we can be prepared for longer wait times.

1 spot of rust and they wouldnt even touch my windshield unless i took it to a body shop. However i was able to buy the glass that they made sure was protected, the molding and then i had to find.get to and buy eurathaine to seal it. Thankfully jim helped financially, Andy & Rick installed it. Andy is putting more eurathaine around it now so that i can drive it. Thank you everyone who helped.

I was quoted over the phone $1098 for a manual rear slider w heat. I then researched the window on eBay and found one for $259. I called and they said it would be $250 for install. The window comes in and I scheduled my appt and when I get to check out, they tell me the bill is $392. The next morning I check heat and it did not work. After looking at the window, I see the positive side wiring wastab connection broke off during install. It did not come unsoldered, it was broken off. I stop by Safelite and they tell me that they cant and wont repair it because I did not buy the window from Safelite. I did get a Permatrex defroster repair kit to fix the connection, but now I am reading 15V instead on 5V so I believe the Ground connection is also either disconnected or broken. After all this, I was told that Safelite would have sold me the window for $289 and then the window would have had a warranty. I would avoid this place at all costs!

Usually they do great work ....but they fixed a chip on my Tahoe but did not fill it in, stopped it from spreading but there is still a Notch where they fixed the chip.... every other time I have been satisfied... right now theyre fixing my back passenger door window it came off track and slam down and shattered see how this one goes a new windshield is $280 but my side window is pin to be $353.04.... most likely because theres a lot more work involved

Second windshield replacement in two months. Sunpass not returned and then charged upon. Instead of sending a reimbursement check, they asked me to return for cash reimbursement. Not impressed with service.

AWFUL! DO NOT TRUST THE ONLINE SCHEDULING! DO NOT PAY ONLINE!3 days prior to appointment I Made an appointment online & PAID online at that time! Two hours before my FIVE HOUR scheduled & paid for appointment window I get a call from a guy, no name given, saying he’s booked for the day and needs to reschedule. I’m Full time college student, attending school in Orlando, and set this day aside as it worked with my schedule and WAS AVAILABLE & CONFIRMED PER THE ONLINE SCHEDULING SYSTEM. I ask if they can reschedule someone else and I was told no that they could give me a refund! And then the guy hung up! So I’ve set this day aside, PRE-PAID and I’m out the money until they decide to reverse the charges.... and I don’t even know the name of the guy that called. I attempt to call back the number he called from but it was a dead number not taking incoming calls. I call the main number, go through the story a few times with different people and finally transferred to the Melbourne Shop where a lady says I should see a refund in a few days.

Mike came to my house this morning from Safelite AutoGlass and did a fantastic job repairing my windshield! He was very courteous, gave great information and even vacuumed out the front drivers and passengers side as a bonus. So grateful for Safelite!!!

Had my windshield fixed here a while back and started having problems with it again. I went in and they fixed then new problems quickly, kindley, and for free! Customer service here is amazing!!! I wouldnt go anywhere else.
