I have a 2006 Honda Accord. So I dont take it to Walmart for oil changes! But these guys outdid any shop Ive used so far. And as a single woman, I never felt anything but helped. They did a great printout of the issues they saw, as well, all the while very pleasant. They are able to tune into the Honda owner who takes pride in driving a car over 200K miles and loves every minute of it. They just get it.

Id give them 10 stars if I could. Saved my 14 year old car from the dump and made it drive like new. Best place to take a Honda or Acura hands down. Trust the good reviews. I had a check engine light come on my Accord. Took it to a someplace else who advertise as the Honda experts, they said I needed a new engine. I had an extended warrantee so I told them to fix it. Just to find out the warrantee didn’t cover what they thought the problem was. Few thousand dollars later, I called Intercoastal, they were great on the phone and told me my options. I towed it to Intercoastal. Best choice!!!! Intercostal call me a few hours later telling me it was fixed and it was something simple and great price too. They did an incredible job, even fixed one of my broken connectors. I’m only going to Intercoastal from now on and never buying an extended warrantee!!! Great HONEST service!! Dont make my mistake, take it here first!

These guys are great. I wont take my Honda anywhere else. They never try to push unnecessary service and give you a heads up if things are showing wear or may need to be replaced in the near future but dont try to pressure you to do it right then and there like a lot of shady mechanics.

I read the other reviews and agree, this is the BEST place in the area to service your Honda or Acura. My experience with J.P. @ Intercoastal began shortly after we relocated to Melbourne (Viera). One of our Hondas, a 200k mile Odyssey, began making a noise associated with worn wheel bearings. I began the daunting task of calling local shops to find a new, dealer alternative. When I called J.P., he was the only one to really engage in conversation about my Odysseys problem. He provided a confident assessment of the work that was likely needed, along with a tentative price. He added that all parts would be OEM (Honda brand) and came with a 2-year warranty. Other shops used whatever parts were available from a local auto parts store and only had a 1-year warranty. I had a good feeling about the place, so I scheduled an appointment. Shortly after my vehicle was dropped off for service, JP called me to say he drove and assessed the vehicle and was ready to provide an update on the work needed. This is the point where a scrupulous shop could have said, hey, everything quoted on the phone is needed. Instead, JP said I would not need as much work as initially discussed and I could save a bunch of money. Shocked, I told him to proceed. Later that afternoon, I received a courtesy call to advise the work was complete, that JP confirmed the work with a test drive, and that it was ready for me to pickup. When I arrived and received my bill, it was exactly as described without hidden costs or extras. A few days later, I received another courtesy call to check in and ensure I was happy with the work. Honestly, I was impressed and this 5-star review is well deserved. I highly recommend Intercoastal to service your Honda or Acura.

If you own a Acura or Honda and you need an honest and very professional mechanic then this is the place for you. Intercoastal did an amazing job on my Honda Odyssey. Their prices are fair. The part I needed was on back order by Honda and it looked like it was going to be about several weeks to get it. Well they were able to get the part a week later. They fixed my issue quickly and I cant even tell they had replaced the part. Im telling you Intercoastal really cares. They sent me a hand written card in the mail while I was waiting for my part and J.P. (the mechanic) texted me a couple days after fixing the van asking if everything was working as it should. Of course our van is now operating perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend them. Ill be going to them for anything related on my Honda vehicles from now on.

Great service! Took my car in due to the Check Engine light popping on. Intercoastal ran a diagnostics check, determined which sensor was causing the problem and replaced it fairly quickly. Very fair and honest price for the repair. I was blown away by their service and professionalism. Will definitely use them again in the event my original mechanic can not come through.

A great experience my first time was 3 years ago my latest was this last 2 weeks. I had the oil changed and the transmission fluild changed and ask to check the heater fan. Turns out I needed a new heater fan the bearing was going out, they had to order it genuine Honda parts and installed it and what a difference. There work is excellent, I live in NW Michigan and when were down here ( Cocoa Beach ) this is the place to go. There work is outstanding and as well as everyone that works there.

If it was possible to rate them 100 stars I would!!!They are honest and truly value their customers. I’ve dealt with them five times at least and every time they have remembered my name and helped me tremendously with my 2014 Honda CR-V. From fixing my door latch so I could actually use my rear door to replacing my turn signal. They know what they are doing when it comes to Honda and Acura’s their service speaks for that. Best auto shop I’ve ever visited and will be a regular customer for many many years to come.

I was visiting family in the local area and needed an oil change for my 2008 Acura RL. It took me just a moment to google Intercoastal and wasnt sure about whether or not to try, but I did based upon the reviews. J.P. and Kelli were very nice and professional -- practically make you feel part of the family when you walk through the door first time. The cost of the oil change was a great price and I didnt have to wait long at all. J.P. and his mechanics are very thorough and pointed out some issues that were concerning...leaky gaskets and power steering pump. Thankfully, my warranty covered them both, but not without some hoops to jump through. J.P. and I contacted the warranty company separately and were told the issues found are covered and approved. However, the day I had to bring the car in, J.P. contacted my warranty company only to find out that the work to be done is not yet authorized. Needless to say, J.P. defended our position knowing the work is approved, but apparently they need to see the car before the work commences in order to authorize it. I had to leave my car overnight until the adjustor could visit the next morning to take pictures to send back to warranty company for authorization. This was on a Friday, which concerned me because I didnt think there would be enough time for J.P. and his mechanics to work on my car, but I was pleasantly surprised how once the authorization came through from the warranty company, the Intercoastal team was able to conduct the labor intensive work of replacing the power steering pump and gaskets before 5pm!!! Upon picking up my car, J.P. went over everything with me making sure I understood what was done. He said if I need any advice about my Acura in the future, just give him a call. So, if you have a Honda or Acura that needs something as simple as an oil change or something more complex, you can be assured its in very capable hands with the knowledgeable and caring team at Intercoastal Auto Service.

These guys are absolutely amazing. I took my Honda in for a problem that 2 other shops couldnt figure out. It ended up being a wire that had shorted out and was giving power to to much stuff. Not only did they repair my car that others couldnt, but there pricing was quite reasonable and they provided excellent customer service.

I brought my 2006 Honda Ridgeline down from Titusville to have them replace the water pump, timing belt, tire rotation and balance. Amazing place! I wish I had been referred here by a friend sooner. We have an 06 Acura RSX. Lots of little issues and my DIY skills were surpassed. Initially went to Space Coast Honda. The dealer experience was TERRIBLE and beyond expensive. Took RSX to Intercostal and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER OR MORE IMPRESSED. This is a nice, family shop with VERY skilled, knowledgeable and kind, courteous crew. Knowing there is a trustworthy and reasonable place to take our Acura and other Honda is very, very comforting. I strongly suggest you take yours here too. Most regular shops do not know all the crazy intricacies of Hondas, and the Brevard dealer service centers are expensive and black box (you get no insight, alternatives or refuge from upselling and gouging). Intercostal is an oasis, trust me!!!! Do not take your Acura/Honda anywhere else!!!!! I learned the hard way!!!!! We love this place and are beyond happy with them!!

Intercoastal Auto Service is absolutely a great locally owned auto shop. I was in Melbourne on work travel and ran into car problems. Intercoastals schedule was full the whole week but they made sure if I could leave me car overnight that they would find a way to fix my problems. Sure enough, they did. They kept me in the loop on the fixes that needed to be made and had my car ready in a timely manner considering I didnt have an appointment and just walked in. I would highly recommend them. The customer service is also great. JP kept me updated on the progress of the fixes. I would most definitely go back if I have future car problems

I first experienced Intercoastal Auto Service 5 years ago when I had a severe oil leak 6 other mechanics miss-diagnosed, to include the Honda Dealer. I arived at this shop out of desperation and they immediately located the problem and fixed it. Something no other previous mechanic could do. Since then I exclusively used them to maintain my 18 year old Honda Accord. They were always very professional and actually would take the time to explain any problems and helped me prioritize work needed. Knowing I had a Honda mechanic I could trust was the main reason I just purchased a 2015 Honda Fit and I will continue to use Intercoastal Auto Service.

Ive got a 2009 Pilot pushing 160K miles (which Intercoastal keeps maintained for me I might add). Will soon be in the market for a new vehicle. I would be hard put to buy anything other than Honda or Acura because I would lose the excellent service from JR and company at Intercoastal. My first visit to JR several years ago involved an intermittent air conditioning problem that Space Coast could not solve. When I described the problem to JR he said I think I know exactly what that is. Sure enough 30 minutes later my Pilot was fixed. The air has been working great for a couple of years now. Thats the kind of expertise that draws me to Intercoastal.

J.P. didnt know me from a hole in the wall two years ago when I cold called him, but we ended up having a discussion about my Honda Odyssey and the Midnight Blue paint that was chipping off it. He went online in his office and printed me out information about a recall Honda issued to repaint the car. He didnt benefit from giving me the information in any way. He was simply paying it forward, but I remembered that. The next time I had an issue with my Honda I gave him a call. I dont trust many mechanics, but J.P. is as honest is the day is long. He is the first andonly person Id bring my Honda to without worrying whether I am being taken advantage of.

I own a low mileage 1998 Acura RL in pristine condition and Intercoastal is the only place I would take my car for preventive maintenance and repair. From the first phone call answered by Kelli who was courteous, professional and friendly this was a 5 star experience without question. My 2009 Honda Civic sounded like the engine was straining every time I turned on the A/C. It was misdiagnosed 3 different times!! The last time to the tune of $1600 (estimate-- I did NOT have the work done thankfully) for a new compressor, which I did not need. J.P. took the time to explain (and draw pictures for me) that it was the tensioner likely caused by a bad water pump and was willing to have both parts on hand and initially just change the tensioner, and if that didn’t solve the issue then go back in and change the water pump without charging me twice for labor. WOW!! This kind of service is unheard of in this day and age. Fortunately I had an extended warranty that covered the majority of the cost and J.P. spent the time on the phone getting approval for the parts and labor. I live in Merritt Island, and it’s a good 30+ minute drive for me, but definitely worth the extra effort--- I can’t sing the praises of this place enough! Thank you Kelli and J.P. (I’ll be back!)
