I would love to give this Medway location 5 stars IF they were consistent. Ive ordered mostly breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and a wrap here and there. Half the time its 10/10, but unfortunately the other half is not. Ive received burnt food twice now. If something gets burnt, simply remake it. Id rather wait 5 minutes for them to remake. They also dont make items how theyre presented online. If I pay extra for the avocado toast with feta and such why is it I always receive a plain one? The description lists topping and I never receive them unless I write out everything. When done right their breakfast sandwiches are my favorite.

Everything is always delicious here, but I recommend having them repeat back your order to you! I find that my orders are wrong pretty often, but it’s worth it to keep trying! Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for, and the coffee is great!

Staff was very polite and helpful. I have never been before now. I tried one of their muffins while I was waiting to speak with a cake decorator as I was visiting due to the wedding and being on the hunt for a wedding cake. The muffin was so moist and full of flavor. I cant wait to see how the cake turns out😊

Not only do they have best muffins around, but bakery goods as well from bagels, cupcakes and cakes. Our kids are always anxiously awaiting the weekend to take a trip to the muffin house. This family owned establishment truly goes above and beyond in everything they do both inside and outside of the business. Sheldon and his Muffin House team were there to support other locally owned small businesses during some of the most difficult times during the pandemic. We are grateful for the Muffin House to continually support our small business, but more importantly for all of the wonderful memories we have made as a family here at the Muffin House.

The sandwiches, bagels, and coffee are pretty good. The real highlight are the muffins. Would definitely recommend trying both the cappuccino and raspberry vanilla muffins.

Having visited one of their other locations a few weeks back and having an acceptable, though not engaging customer service experiance, I wanted to stop by this location for an afternoon treat (Labor Day, around lunch time). Customer service was perfunctory, but it was fairly busy and staff were working hard to keep the line moving.However, I was strongly disappointed to see that none of the staff were wearing masks. There is still a pandemic going on - and even if you are vaccinated, wearing masks is still a good idea, ESPECIALLY if you are working in close quarters. They are relying on teen/young adult workers to staff their location, and Im disappointed that the owners are not taking better care of their younger workers by ensuring that they wear a mask. Though masks are not mandated, and vaccination rates in Massachusetts are high; *the pandemic is not over.*Wearing a mask is a simple accomodation to help minimize the spread and help get us closer to normal once again. It would truly be a shame if conditions worsen here again because people do not choose to wear a mask indoors/close quarters.About a half of the customers in line were wearing masks.Please encourage your staff to wear a mask - and provide extra disposable masks to your staff if they need to change their mask during the day.Though I would love to support a local business with VERY yummy food (the peanut butter brownie was delicious!) ... I cannot in good consciousness support a business that does not protect its younger employees (and the customers!), and do not plan on returning until these practices change.

Got a blueberry and chocolate chip muffin. both were decent and they’re huge. also got an almond joy iced coffee. the coffee had a burnt and bitter flavor even with the cream and sugar. good place if you’re local but wouldn’t go out of my way to go again

OK, all I got was a grilled tuna sandwich but, really it was very good. But I can tell you from previous visits the have the BEST muffins (just looking at them while I ate took all I had to resist). They also do a great job on pies. At Thanksgiving time they sell tons of them - I think mostly pre-ordered.

Love this place! Whether stopping by for a last minute treat or placing an advance order, the Muffin House never disappoints! So delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful...

Best of all, every bite is bursting with plump and delicious blueberries. The flavored iced coffees are very good (lots of different flavors) and the wraps and sandwiches do not disappoint. Weve tried the Thanksgiving wrap substituting chicken salad for turkey (so good!), the chicken Caesar wrap, grilled cheese, and ham and cheese panini.

For a small business its truly beautiful the food was amazing and theyre are doing amazing following covid protocols! If I didnt live in Newton I would be here everyday because of the amazing service from Gabriella! The staff has always been really polite, patient, and accommodating. Thank you again!

Good bagel and homemade spices chai. Plenty of counter staff - all high school girls. However, the wifi doesnt work, and they couldnt fix it, so I left to get my work done. I was looking forward to settling in for lunch later, but wifi was essential.

Place very busy. Muffins are amazing. Coffee very good. Service hectic but efficient. Few tables inside but most people do takeout or just eat in their car.

Gabriella was the BEST worker there she was so friendly made my experience there amazing I went back because of her and when I went back she remembered my name and my order! For a small business its truly beautiful the food was amazing and theyre are doing amazing following covid protocols!

They have an excellent outdoor view of the plaza and the food is so delicious! They have food for most allergies and of course muffins and coffee! The waiters and waitresses are kind and polite, but nothing beats the scent of coffee in the morning!

I went into the Medway location and almost everyone on staff looked at me as soon as I came in, but no one acknowledged me or said anything to me. After about 2 minutes someone asked if I was being helped and told me she’d be right with me. Also, another worker was cleaning a pastry case and had her mask pulled down to below her chin from the time I came in until the time I left. I came in about an hour before close so I do understand there is a lot to get done, but I was disappointed with the customer service.On a brighter note, the coffee was good and I still look forward to trying the pastries in the future.

Every Saturday, I watch Phantom Gourmet and I make a list of restaurants Im going to explore. Last week, Muffin House was featured on Phantom Gourmet. When I heard that these muffins were comparable to blueberry muffins sold at Jordan Marsh, I was willing to go to the Muffin House. I remember the days when I use to buy my blueberry muffins at Jordan Marsh. Admittedly, I have never tasted a blueberry muffin that was better than Jordan Marsh blueberry muffins. Under duress, my partner drove from Boston to Medway. I purchased half a dozen of blueberry muffins. I took a bite into the blueberry muffin & savored the taste. Without question, best blueberry muffin ever!!! It was totally worth the drive.

Best muffins and coffees around. You truly can’t find muffins like this anywhere else in the area. Large variety, muffins are huge and incredible. They have unique coffee flavors that our brewed versus syrup.

Drove 30 mins after we saw it on tv. Hand down, the best blueberry muffins i ever had. The vanilla rasberry was amazing as well. The ginger one, just so so. My daughter loved their carrot cake and cannoli..Totally worth it.

Been coming to the medway muffin house for a while now and I love their food, drinks and muffins but... today i had the worst experience yet with a rude employee who continued to roll her eyes at me and whom i was with. They darted away before i could finish telling my order and made our drinks wrong and then when they went to remake the drinks they made the drink completely different disregarding what i had asked for considering i cannot have dairy and they added in whole milk instead of almond and made the drink hot instead of cold. She would of heard me say what i had ordered if she didnt dart away so fast. More employees are starting to seem annoyed with customers before they even walk in the door and are not ready to put on a smile.

This is a really great little family eatery. They have a few venues in the area now, but I think this was the first one.Ive had breakfast here of a weekend a couple of times. A coffee and blueberry muffin is a great stay to the day!Their muffins are huge and delicious. The other sweet stuff is nice but the muffins really is where its at.The service is super friendly and you can tell from the other families in that this is a proper local hangout.

Very good, very busy place for muffins and other baked breakfast delights. Prices are high, but quality and fast service support it. You may be able to find muffins this good elsewhere, but youll never find better. These are as good as it gets!

I LOVE MUFFIN HOUSE. The muffins are fresh and they have so many. Their big lous iced mocha is so delicious and my go to. I have also tried their cupcakes as well as their sandwiches. Theyve never disappointed me. They have real crispy bacon on their breakfast sandwiches and thats what wins over my heart.

Yes, the muffins are good. But their danishes & other sweets/bagel sandwiches are even better! Not to mention they have every single coffee flavor you can think of, iced & hot. I love how its the flavored beans and not the overly sweet syrups other places use to flavor coffee. Definitely a go to breakfast spot.

This place lives up to its reputation. I usually get the breakfast sandwiches, of the few times, out of 73 times Ive been since I moved to Medway I grabbed a muffin, it was sufficiently succulent for the senses. The breakfast sandwiches are special too, they definitely have a recipe that other places havent caught onto yet. English muffins and bagels for the sandwiches have always been soft and fresh when we went. The only thing you can possibly complain about is the lines and wait during PEAK times. That said, The staff works so HARD to get the order processed as quickly as possible. Its not a knock on the establishment, Its a proof positive they are very Popular, food is Quality, and in high demand. Just give yourself a little extra time if youre going on the weekend. During the week Ive been in and out in under 7 Minutes!! Go and get HOOKED!! Bravo Muffin House Cafe!!

Good coffee. Been before and looked forward to getting a muffin. Went 4 hours before closing and all the remaining muffins (around 20 or so) were piled on trays on tables instead of inside display case. People were sneezing and coughing as it is flu season so I wouldnt buy those. Pretty disappointing

Great breakfast place! There coffee and baked goods are excellent. It is always packed, which is a great sign. They do a good job of moving the line along. The people who work there are very friendly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because a family cannot really sit down to eat there. Great for smaller and/or older groups to eat in or get it to go.

A very consistent place! Solid food every time I go, the egg sandwiches are particularly good. Fairly good coffee, though Ill admit to not being big on coffee. Good tea too.Wide selection of pastries and food options, as well as flavorings for coffee/lattes.

Been on my list to try forever and Im angry that I waited so long! Muffins are to die for: huge muffins, wide varieties, some crazy varieties, and then the pastries and desserts! All reasonably priced (maybe a little more than at your average grocery store but so much better). If you are in the area, dont wait like I did!

Ive worked in the area for about 4 months now and have gotten at least 1 iced coffee EVERYDAY with an occasional muffin (which are the best muffins Ive ever had, I definitely recommend the morning glory). The staff are absolutely amazing. From the owners all the way down, friendly and very caring with every customer. Plenty of coffee options hot/iced along with a breakfast sandwich and lunch menu that has something for everyone. The muffins and pastries speak for themselves....look at all these cake reviews! A lovely little cafe with delicious, fresh breakfast and lunch sandwiches, great coffee, and yummy pastries and sweets. The staff were friendly and fast. I loved my entire experience upon my 1st visit and plan to go back many more times.

Great customer service. Being 8.5 months pregnant, asked about the contents of one of frozen drink specials. The kind young woman wasnt aware of the answer, but said that she should be, and asked other staff members. They then called the distributor to confirm the caffeine content amount. I was thrilled with their thoroughness and willingness to go the extra step. We have only been there once prior to this experience and will continue to return because of the attention to detail, and the food is great!

I just left the Muffin House Cafe with my wife and kids and I have to say, I could not be more pleased. The Blueberry muffin was hands down the biggest and most delicious muffin I have ever had. The muffin was warm, moist and packed with flavor. I cant wait to try the Cranberry Orange. My wife tried the Pumpkin muffin and said it was the best pumpkin muffin she ever had. We will definately be back and highly recommend the Muffin House Cafe to those of you who have not been.

A great little place. Its only fault is that it is a little place. Sometimes the line can be out the door and seating is nowhere to find. But the muffins are high quality every time. The coffee flavors change up every so often as well, so you can almost try a new flavor every time.

This is my go to spot for iced coffee, but the muffins are delicious and they do a great job with cakes, cupcakes etc. If you can spare the calories the Frozen Dough is amazing. Id recommend splitting it with a friend.

A family favorite!!!! Best blueberry & lemon poppy muffins, frozen flavored coffees & a great selection of wraps & sandwiches that are inventive and delicious. My fav is the veggie wrap with hummus. My daughter loves the cranberry chicken salad. You cant go wrong here, with a huge selection of whole cakes and individual desserts, pastries & bagels as well. The staff are efficient & friendly, and the place is always busy! 😀

They make the bustle seem easy. Very busy and popular. The food and drink clearly explain why. Get the chai and muffins and anything else because it is all delicious.One year later after the above review:I still stand by this. Its even busier. Try the new locations! I love the seasonal items. Right now hot apple cider is delicious. People even collect the stickers off the top of the hot beverage covers.

They just recently made my sisters wedding cake. Absolutely amazing. Its very hard to make a wedding cake look fabulous and taste amazing. Usually wedding cakes are all fondant, this was very moist cake and real white frosting. It was beautiful white with sunflowers just like my sister wanted. Definetly a conversation point at the wedding!

First time! Long line but worth the wait! Breakfast was warm and muffins were out of this world!

Bakery/sandwich casual style cafe. Order at counter--paper plates--no frills. Cinnamon buns rich and tasty. Busy on the day we went. Good quality food, muffins are huge, prices slightly high for the take out style cafe.

I heard their blueberry muffins were delicious, but didnt expect them to really be THAT good!! I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and I wish I had counted the choices they offered. Id guess there were 20 different types of muffins. So many choices, it was sort of overwhelming. I also bought a blueberry/banana nut muffin and that one was even better than the scrumptious blueberry! Next time, I will actually look at what they offer other than muffins.

I love the Muffin House! Their baked good selection is enormous and they are all delicious. The staff is so friendly and often remember regular customers by name. Their breakfast sandwiches are good and worth the wait.

Delicious. This is our weekend breakfast spot which is a gem of Medway. But be careful when you arrive, get there at a popular time and youll wait 30 minutes for a muffin and coffee. I highly suggest you somehow organize your lines, it gets to be a mad-house in there.

I am embarrassed that it has taken me this long to post a review about this GEM of a bakery! I start my morning EVERY SINGLE DAY here, usually at 5:45 a.m. in my PJ’s! I couldn’t imagine heading into my day without one of their many (maybe 30 choices or more) flavored iced coffees (pumpkin and hazelnut ore my personal favorites)! Hands down the BEST staff ever! Not many people could pull off such entertaining personalities that early in the morning, but you can just add that to the list of perfection! And on the weekends, be prepared to wait ( a sign of greatness I think), but have no fear... it will be worth that wait! So grateful to have this place and these people in my town of Medway! And I will close with this, I have 2 school aged children and Sheldon Strasnick, the owner, regularly donates his time and products to the schools for fundraisers and you can always find some local team “shaking their cans” for donations, comfortably outside the Muffin House doors! All and all a true gift to the town of Medway!

This is by far the best muffins you will ever have the pleasure of eating! There bursting with whatever you choose and there sandwiches are just as amazing! Great coffee as well. I cant say enough about this place and their staff!

Go here now! Stop looking at different breakfast options and have literally the best muffins anywhere. Plus good flavors of coffee. And their bacon egg cheese croissant is surprisingly good.

These muffins are incredible; decadent, but incredible. Their espresso drinks, while not barista-level, are not bad for this area, but really, the reason to come is the muffins. Theyre the best Ive ever had; theyre seriously more like little cakes. Excellent place to come on a Saturday morning and grab a coffee and muffin or sandwich. It does get pretty crowded on weekend mornings, though.

The Muffin House is my absolute favorite place to stop for coffee and a treat. The muffins and breakfast pastries are giant and delish and there is a huge variety to choose from. Their breakfast sandwiches are made fresh with real eggs and even the desserts are amazing. Ive never had a bad cup of coffee here- as an iced coffee drinker year long I love how many flavors there are! The only thing I wish is they had is a frequent coffee card... You gotta go for a muffin and coffee ( and leave with a cheese danish and lemon square !) you wont be disappointed!
