Have an amazing selection at lower prices. Though they do need a better selection in self-hardening clays. What I have bought from both they and hobby lobby smells toxic and the fumes can make you high and definitely your animals that may be around. Cant sculpt outside. Shouldnt have to be in a well ventilated area (a caution not on the packaging).

First time shopping at this Jo-Ann Fabrics. Megan, the young lady who cut my burlap gave me very good tips on how to cut burlap. Showed me how to actually pull a thread out along the whole width of the fabric. I would never have thought about this. I thank her for this advice. Great experience at Jo-Ann fabrics, Medina.

Went to JOANN Fabrics with my sister. She wanted to buy something but I seem to have forgotten what she bought. I have no complaints about JOANN Fabrics. I do buy fabric from there because JOANN Fabrics does have a better selection than Hobby Lobby. The store is always clean and the people that work there are always helpful. Plus, JOANN Fabrics always has some good coupons.

The employees are good. They help you find stuff in the store. If help is needed with check out, they jump in and help.

The store itself is much larger than other local JOANN locations I’ve been to, which makes the accessibility much better.The entire chain has a lot of discrepancies in their coupon/app/pricing, so make sure to read every detail of every promotion!!

Note: when training(dark shoulder length hair) new people, less Chatty Kathy with each other and more acknowledging the customers presence at the in store order pick up counter...especially after making eye contact several times! *I was the only customer at the front of the store.

Framing department is not experienced for the price you pay! Save your money and get your art framed elsewhere! Also, staff needs better customer service skills. I was getting fabric cut (2 1/2 yards) and the woman tried to convince me that she cut 2 1/2 yards. When I checked it arms width apart, she watched me and said, oops. She in reality only cut 2 yards, which I told her, while she was cutting that she was off. (But she proceeded to condescend my opinion.) You shouldnt have to double check people who are paid to measure. Not only that, but she spoke to me as if I didnt have a clue about sewing. Turns out, I sew for a living and have 20+ years experience. Please Joann, widen your hiring. I can see why your business is heading downhill!

Just spent one hour with Sheri as she guided me through making my first quilt. She measured, suggested, and assisted me in finding the right amount of fabric, tools, and calculations. She even reminded me to download the Joann app for an additional 60%. AND her team mate covered the register while she helped me. Unbelievable service. Quite pleased with the service.

I visited this clean and tidy JoAnns location in Medina on both a Saturday and Sunday afternoon, was greeted by employees, and enjoyed browsing. The lines werent too long. All that considered, its still a JoAnns, so the selection of fabric is typical and theres are limited other art supplies. Annoyingly, electronic coupons are most accessible on the corporate app, but that isnt the fault of this individual store.

I went in for quick pickup of something to dress-up a large potted yellow mum plant to be on qltar at church on Sunday. Found a golden wreath w brown accents just right size for base of plant. Also had many fall ribbon selections. Both items on sale + a bonus free item. Clerk courteous. Short wait for ck out.

I had found the items I had wanted with relative ease. As I tell my friends for the quality that I receive for the items I purchase (more so fabric as opposed to other items) it is quite a steep price. My reason for going in is I had a coupon and needed several things for a project. Overall the experience was pleasant.

Joannes is an OK store. What I do not like is the store will not give an inch more fabric wo a price tag, even when a few inches are left on the bolt, of course there is a charge. Their business would do so much better. Otherwise not a bad store. Love the sales

Great selection. Good prices. Wasnt happy that when I picked up an in store pickup purchase the package was previously opened. I wouldnt have bought it knowing that, and there were others on the shelf. Was told if it didnt work I could return but just one thing I have to be concerned with.

Great selection of crafts and goods. The staff is cheerful and enthusiastically offers help for any project, be it a pattern for clothes, a Halloween costume, or in my case, where I was making pornographic papercraft greeting cards. They offered suggestions for decent glue and ideas for backgrounds, and bless them for being professional above all else. My only issue is this place constantly smells like heavy cinnamon death pumpkin pie at all times of the year. I worry that may be detrimental to the staff.

I went into Joann 1/30/20 around 2:30pm. I felt that I was spoken to very poorly. I was getting fabric to reupholster chairs, something that Ive never done before. So when I went to the counter, the woman that was working by herself was asking for a coworker to come help her, but based on her tone and mannerisms she obviously seemed frustrated. Someone came and helped her after maybe 3 minutes, and this woman was the one that helped me. She was very kind and trying to be helpful, but as I was telling her what I needed and trying to ask questions, the original woman there interrupted me to tell her that the material I picked was too thin and was going to wear down fast for the chairs that I plan on refurbishing, even though she wasnt even working with me. Since she was being rude, I defended myself and said that I dont know what type of fabric to get and this is my first time doing a project like this. So instead of helping me or taking me to the fabric she recommended (like I said she wasnt even the one helping me to begin with) since I told her I didnt know what to use, she told me to go to the thicker fabrics. I was clulessly trying to find it, and instead of guiding me, she said go left! Left! Left there! From the counter. I still dont think I was in the correct aisle for what I needed. I ended up leaving without buying anything because I felt so frustrated by how I was talked down to. Maybe she was frustrated because they were backed up at the fabric cutting counter? I dont know what the issue she had was. But it was no excuse to make a customer feel scolded like a child. I guess youre supposed to know everything before you walk in the store, and youre not allowed to ask questions about your project. Im sure there are great employees there that care to help you, like the woman that came to help her was trying to do, but I was just made to feel like an idiot.

Really only go here for yarn and usually only when its on sale. The store is bright, clean and reps are friendly and knowledgeable.

The customer service is so great, the staff are so helpful, and have great suggestions for customers like myself who want to do projects but need a little help on what to buy. The owners/managers of this store should be really proud of their staff. I have been in this store several times and all my interactions have been fantastic!

Joanns is so confusing with their sales and coupons. You never really know whats what on sale. They have so many conditions you have to meet. I get constant texted coupons that they have become an annoyance. Their displays arent attractive. Hobby Lobby right down the street is way more straightforward and much easier to understand and shop. The poor cashier at Joanns said we shall see what the computer will allow. She was confused too. Im tax exempt and have a card stating that issued by Joanns. The cashier has to call every time I buy something there to someone on the radio before they are allowed to proceed with the sale. Why? My tax exempt forms are on file at that store! I dont go there too often. Its not a fun place to shop.

One of the biggest Joann around with a huge selection. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. However, Joann the company is not my favorite in that they use the “Kohl’s” model of coupons and inflated pricing to make the customer feel like they’re getting a good sale or deal. Such a terrible practice.

Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff with a great selection of fabrics & craft stuff. Isles are tidy and their inventory is organized which makes it easy to find things. If youre able, install the Joann app for a constant stream of excellent discounts and coupons so you never pay full price. The app has great tutorials as well, so if youre doing something new or get stuck theres always free help.

This Joanns has a very helpful sales person, Andria. She looked up a product on her handheld device so I could see what it looked like. Then she contacted another store to find more of an item I was buying and wanted more of. This store has a smaller inventory than larger stores but there sales people go an extra mile to find or order what you need.

Super helpful employees. Great selection of the paints I was looking for. If you use their app, you can get even bigger discounts.

I went to Jo-Ann fabrics to get some two sided Velcro for a jacket project I was working on. They had a wide assortment of color and sizes available. I found just what I needed which was some iron on velcro for the hood of a jacket. Price was very reasonable I paid a dollar $1.71 for a 6 inch piece of Velcro. Both the clerk at the fabric counter and the clerk checking out were very friendly and helpful.

I had placed order and wanted it to be curbside. Tried calling outside for 20 minutes no answer. Ending up going inside and they said their phone was down for 2 days which I find hard to believe for a business. Inside not friendly at all.

This is a great craft store and Ive used the online order/pick up in store feature a few times. Always easy and have not had any issues with the service. Still a wait time to check out, but that is because people have cart fulls of stuff they find at a great price and cant pass it up. #Relateable. Join the FB Joanns crafting group if you want to see what all the people in front of you are making with the stuff they are buying. Definitely inspiring.

We went in this location 2/17/2018 at 4:30 pm. I was looking at an end display of fabrics, when the ends holding the fabrics upright, fell off the shelf. My husband was trying to help me put things back together, when the lady at the cutting counter came over & asked us to leave. I was holding the fabric bolts up from falling on the floor, when she asked us to leave again. I promptly walked away, put my items back, and left the store. We were not causing trouble, we were not harming anything, and the actions of this associate were incredibly rude. We are adults, we are responsible, and do not expect to be treated as teenagers causing problems! I will not go back to this location, or any Jo Anns for that matter, as after I emailed customer service, they did nothing. In todays world, you had better step up your customer service if you expect to keep customers loyalty. From now on, Ill be shopping at Hobby Lobby. Absolutely ridiculous situation at Jo Anns - I will NEVER go back!

I normally dont leave negative reviews on a store I go to, but today just rubbed me the wrong way. I waited at an empty register for 5 mins, where there was no one in the front of the store at all. Hailey finally appeared from an aisle about 40 feet away and saw me and said hey... from 40 ft away, and proceeded to walk slow towards the register, like she didnt have a care in the world, that she had to do her job right now. Youd figure when you see a customer waiting to check out, and youve been gone doing who knows what, that youd have a little pep to your step to help your customer. Not in Haileys case. Can you fix this and not be like a walmart. Thanks.

Exceptional customer service. I bought a tagging gun to tag merchandise from my store with last night and the needle broke off of it and flew across the room. With parts missing now I even misplaced my receipt and its just been a terrible weekend for us as we lost one of our dogs. Lady whom I talked to on the phone helped me so eagerly and replaced this item no questions asked. Thank you. Small favors really do make the world of difference.
