He has a wide range of products from novice to expert, electric and acoustic. I found Carlino Guitars because he is an authorized dealer of Furch Guitars. After a search of his website, I saw he had what I was looking for. My first visit to the store was amazing. Eddie took the time to educate me on guitars and guitar building. I can’t say enough good about my experience and the above and beyond customer service he offers. Thank you Eddie!!

I came in the other day looking to buy my first electric guitar on a budget, and although he didnt have anything for me he was insanely kind and he gave me a ton of general advice, which was great as a newcomer. Very honest and genuine guy, it was worth visiting just for chatting with him. He even gave me his contact info so I could send him any pictures of guitars that I was interested in but wasnt sure about, condition/quality wise. Definitely worth the visit!

Awesome place with some beautiful guitars. Definitely meant for more serious players than newbies but they have a solid range of cheaper guitars for those folks. Straps made by these guys look sick and I think they do their own leatherwork. Rad spot

My old acoustic needed some TLC. I told Mr. Carlino it needed a full tuning/truing/cleaning. It was not cheap.I got back a completely different guitar than the one I brought in. It was mine - but shiny, beautifully waxed, cleaned, trued, and strung. It has never sounded as pure as it does now. Turned around in a day, as promised up front. Absolutely worth the money. Cant stop playing it.

Ive heard these are the guys to see for rare or exotic guitars. My friend does business with them regularly and he knows his stuff. A safe bet its what I gather if youre in three market for a guitar 🎸.

Brought my classical guitar in for a set up and to lower the bridge to improve the action. The bridge was lowered too far and my D string buzzed when I played it because it was touching the frets - this is something that should have been noticed before returning it to me. I didn’t worry, and I bought another bridge and another set of strings to try again. I called and told them the problem and that I need the action to be higher now because it’s buzzing, and was told that I was wrong and since it’s getting warmer now, I actually need the strings even lower. I disagreed, but said forget it, I’ll bring it back in, and to just just put a new set of strings on my guitar and I’ll deal with the buzzing D string. When I go to pick it back up, the new strings were put on, and I was told that EVEN MORE was shaved off of the bridge so the strings were EVEN CLOSER to the fretboard - now they ALL buzz. I don’t want to return there a third time to deal with this. If they listened to me when I said what I wanted, for the strings to be higher, this would be a 5 star review. I got exactly the opposite of want I wanted and it cost me in total over $100. Now I have to bring it somewhere else. I’m extremely frustrated. Eddie is a nice guy but he wasn’t listening to what I was wanting.

I bought a guitar from Carlino via Reverb website. The owner sent me a broken guitar and when I called him, he denied it was broken. I sent him a video of the strap holder that literally falls out of the guitar. He said Not my problem, its a consignment guitar. Then he told me to use toothpicks to fix the hole. Toothpicks?? I care about my guitars and I DO NOT use toothpicks to repair any of them. This guy owns a guitar repair store and not only did he not check the guitar for damage before he sent it, he then told me to Spend $10 on some wood glue and fix it yourself. He could have fixed the guitar before selling but I guess thats not their practice at this place. Long story short, I got Reverb involved and seller paid for the repairs. Hopefully he learns a lesson from this.

Got my electric acoustic set up and playing great for a very fair price and fixed some electrical issues on my bass for free!

Its Christmas Eve and I was having a rough day today with selfish people.. Seemed like nothing was going right and I lost my spirit just about.. This man is the least selfish. He just cleaned and completely strung a guitar for me with a new pick for absolutely NOTHING. He told me since his mom passed he does something nice every year for someone and I was that someone. 😢💙 Made me feel so blessed and grateful that there is still some good left in people. Ive probably been to 30 guitar shops in my life and nobody has even come close to providing the level of knowledge and quality of service that Eddie has. He asks the important questions, explains the important details, and will make sure you walk out happy.Also his custom guitars are absolutely gorgeous and he has a true passion for making/designing them.

Im a former professional athlete, bare knuckle fighter, and UFC veteran After the end of my career I needed a new muse. I would come in almost every day for months on end . Not only is Eddie Carlino a phenomenal craftsman he is a very generous and caring man. He is what every business owner should be. Great communication skills set him apart from other people I have dealt with in life. Through a random facebook chat about what else KISS I inquired about getting a custom strap made for my Ibanez PS10ltd. Eddie suggested to make an era correct Paul Stanley strap. So I’m like Hey Eddie the Gene Simmons band is playing a week from today how cool would it be if Ryan from his band would wear it for a few songs. He’s like let me call you back. Eddie calls back and says done deal I will make sure the strap is done and I will ship it to Syracuse where their playing, no worries. Man did he deliver, not only did I get to see Ryan play the strap for the entire show my buddy and I were treated to the backstage area, got pictures with the band including Gene and even hung out with the guys after the show for a while. What a great night full of memories all set up by an owner that cares about his customer! Honestly the guy goes the extra mile and for that reason I will continue to give him business and refer others to him as well. And by the way the strap is a work of art! Eddie Carlino is the master of all things guitar and straps. He is a genius luther with his own kickass brand name guitars that are reasonably priced and sound killer. His work is always above and beyond and goes the extra to satisfy his customers. I have had numerous guitars worked on and they all came back flawless and with really reasonable rates. Talk to Eddie and pick his brain, he is very knowledgeable and will give you the straight dope on any questions you have. This was a nice shop with a friendly staff. They make custom electric guitars and custom leather straps. Theyve even done a guitar for Paul Stanley of Kiss.Electrics appear to be their specialty, but they have an assortment of acoustics.Prices very from entry level to professional. They had an assortment of pedals and amplifiers, but thats not my wheel house.If youre looking for anything other than a guitar or bass, head elsewhere. No banjos or mandolins to be found here, but thats fine. Better to specialize in one area than be mediocre in many.They likely have on site luthier services if you had your guitar set up.If you play electric guitar or bass, you need to check this place out.

Eddie is one of the best guys around. Wouldnt trust anyone else with my guitars. The new shop is great, has a great selection of his Calrino guitars and does great work making custom straps.

Very sad. Went during the day, doors were locked and nobody inside, although all the lights were on. Waiting a few minutes and called a couple times, even left a message. Seemed like a nice place. Just wish I could have went inside.

From the first time I described my project over the phone, to the moment he unveiled his creation, Eddie was friendly, enthusiastic about working with me on my project, and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted.Beyond his outstanding customer service, Eddie is hands down one of the most talented woodworkers I have ever met. The final product, a custom laser-engraved ceremonial fraternity paddle, went above and beyond my wildest dreams. Not only was the engraving clean and exactly like the design I imagined, he even managed to take a little bit of artistic liberty by adding a dark wood inlay to my Fraternity crest, giving it an unbelievable, elegant pop.Last, and certainly not least, Eddies prices are far better than any other comparable engraving service in the area; had I gone elsewhere I would have had to pay at least TWICE what Eddie quoted me.Quite simply, you will not find a better person for whatever project you are imagining, and would be doing yourself a disservice if you give your business to anyone other than Eddie.

Great store - incredible guitar and strap designs.

I brought in my 1997 Rickenbacker 370 12-string into Eddie Carlinos Medford store in hopes of correcting severe playability problems. The guitar overtime had become unplayable due to string height - an issue I was unable to resolve on my own. I went in with a checklist - truss rod, bridge height, etc.Eddie took the guitar and was immediately able to determine that the neck was bowed and that adjusting the dual truss rods on the Rickenbacker would correct the problem. He quoted me his standard set-up rate and promised the guitar by the end of business the following day. In addition to the neck adjustment, he cleaned and polished the frets and neck board, replaced the strings (Rickenbackers furnished by me). He also cleaned and waxed the body.All the work was done in the promised time and my Rickenbacker looks and plays like a factory fresh guitar - probably better.Eddie is a quiet, reserved man and a superb luthier.
