Website says open, called ahead, got a cell phone msg --leave msg--figured may be busy w/customers so I traveled to medford. Closed sign on door, stated by appt only. How bout updating your website and/or updating your phone msg. Very disrespectful to someone willing to patronize your business in this economy. You had good ratings-figured you would have better integrity.

Awesome store! Great selection of vinyl, CDs, and cassettes along with books DVDs, posters, etc. Owner is super nice and funny. Would highly recommend

This place is amazing if you are looking for old records, CDs and tapes. A very good selection of all kinds of music from classical to punk. They even have amps tuners and a small selection of dj equipment. Not to mention DVDs and vhs tapes. The staff here is super friendly and nice to talk to if you have questions.

Love this shop!!! I come in every other week or so, for CDs...The dude, in the back, is extremely knowledgeable about pretty much any genre of music I throw his way.Plus 🎸 lessons, DVDs, vinyl and some pretty cool pins!Hands down, the best music shop in town.

Musichead is awesome! If you are a musician or just love music youll love them. Ive seen live music here, taken guitar lessons here, and bought CDs & musical instruments here. Even though music stores, the music industry and technology have changed over the years, Musichead has stayed the course and continue to be innovative and instrumental in providing our community with a wonderful musical outlet. Show them some love and support and do business here.

Great used record shop and so much to choose from. Did not have everything I was looking for, but some could spend hours here I am sure. Check it out!!

Closed when it says it’s open, and no one answers the phone

Pretty over priced. Online collector prices rather than brick and mortar prices. No real reason to go in for records. Pretty much everything is overpriced. Staff is pretty blah. Should have given the guy here a pillow to wipe his mascara on.

I only visited here once. They had a huge selection of all kinds of music stuff. Lots of clean used merchandise. And knowledgeable staff for any questions.

Like many others have said, expect high prices and poor condition vinyl. Often the records will have a sticker price on the outside (like $2-$5) and then the inside sticker price (what you pay at the register) is close to $15-$25. If you are going to buy lots of vinyl records, triple the prices and then try to pass this off to your customers, at least respect them enough to take off the original price stickers, so they dont have to be confronted with how badly they are being ripped off. Did I say all their records are scratched? Because they are. Avoid.

Local owned business with a great collection of CDs and Vinyl

Lots of vinyl and Hifi repair shop in back, Music is organized by genre. They sell vinyl, cassettes, Cds and used guitars and amps and other accessories. Music is sold at Discog collector prices some a bit over priced. But get a 4 Star based on volume of music and selection.

On a Sunday you are open for 1 hour? I went there to order a ton of stuff. Ordered from a competitor, picking up Tuesday.

Never will I ever step foot in music head ever again!!! My sister has mental handicaps.. she is passionate about music. She went in there excited and anyone who knows my sister she is very out going when she is excited and talks a ton sometimes not making sense. Well the owner told her he didnt want people like her in his store and asked her to leave. She called and told me and she was bawling. so I went to his store and talked to him to see if thats what happened and thats exactly what happened he said he cant have people like that in his store because it drives other customers away... I was so angry I started crying while I was going off on the guy about how wrong it was!! All he said was Im sorry and if she wants she can briefly come back in... How can a business owner treat people like this!! How disgusting! Im so hurt and angry right now! Thought I would share so everyone can see what type of guy he is! He will never get my business! Not even one star!!

As mentioned in previous reviews, staff is never very friendly or helpful until they see cash in your hand or when you’re checking out. Even then, be ready to spend $10 or more than you would at other local records stores/CD stores in the valley. On top of being way over priced, the condition of about 90% of their selection would be comparable to if you were browsing at a thrift store! Very disappointing from my experiences.

This store discriminates against individuals with disabilities and will literally kick them out of the store. They will never get my business again and I hope someone sues them because discrimination is illegal.

Open at 10 means opens at 10. I see this is typical that it’s just whatever time of the day we get to work which leaves us sitting in the parking lot.
