I ordered oil from Wise Choice. I placed an order to just top off my tank not even fill it up just 100 Gallons so it wasn’t a big sale for the company. BUT the service I received was incredible. I placed my order and it was scheduled for a day or 2 away and just my luck we got a snow / Ice storm over night. The oil delivery truck from Wise Choice was @ my house nice & early 6:20 AM but the driver could not make the delivery due to the amount of snow & ice keeping my gate closed and the gate had to be pushed open but the snow & ice was so solid on the other side of the gate it wouldn’t open without forcing and breaking my nice white PVC fence. So they didn’t force it open but the driver left me a note in my mailbox. At 9 AM I got a call from Erin @ WISE CHOICE Fuel and she told me they couldn’t make the delivery due to the amount of snow & ice preventing the gate from opening. I told her I’m recently disabled and I would have my son clean up & break up the snow & ice later in the day because I can’t do it. She simply said ok call back when it’s cleared up. 5 minutes later she called me back and told me not to worry about the snow & ice being broken up & removed to make the delivery of just 100 gallons that the owner of Wise Choice Fuel heard what happen about waiting on my son to make the yard accessible and he said call the customer back & tell him that I will clear the ice & snow & don’t worry about it. WOW I said. WHAT A COMPANY. THIS COMPANY REALLY CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THE COMMUNITY. THIS IS TRULY A COMPANY THAT PROVIDES SUPERIOR SERVICE. The oil delivery man was rude. I paid extra by credit card and not cash so they won’t disturb me and because of the pandemic. I wrote in details where the tank fill is located. The driver still rang my bell and disturbed me and was very rude. This is the last time I’ll be using this company. DG fuel is way better and they are always courteous.

Unfortunate experience of still waiting for oil after putting a note that we ran out of oil. Called twice and told oil would be delivered by 1pm and then called again to be told now its by 5 pm. Guess we didnt get the Family treatment.

The driver was so rude when I told him her arrived to my house at 6:30 and I explained I will be back in 2 minutes to get cash. He called his office and claimed I said 20 minutes and said oh well the weather is nice and left. Beyond rude but the time he kept repeating himself saying he can’t wait I could have gotten the cash as I also had a credit card if I was not back by the time he pumped it. So disappointed.

My tank is covered in oil after the delivery. How does this happen. I asked for a delivery in the tank not outside the tank. You all need to do better. Smh

Had them replace my oil tank. They did a great job and were literally working through 3 hours with no break! Very competent too.Chris explained everything I wanted to know.Today, my water heater wouldnt start. Called them and they showed up within an hour!!!Great job guys!

Was put in a bad position by another oil company who at the last minute cancelled my cash order and left me in the cold.I Called wise choice and explained my situation (39 weeks pregnant and have 4 other kids in the house aged 18 months to 11 yrs old) and they were able to fit me in today and are honoring the price I was quoted for the other delivery. Great business. Made me very happy and will definitely be using them as my wise choice in the future!

I have reason to believe theyre not being honest about the amount of fuel theyre delivering. I keep track of my oil myself, always order when Im at 1/4 tank remaining and never get more than 160 gallons at delivery. The first time I felt I was scammed they delivered 170 gallons which was odd, the second time they claimed they delivered 209 gallons. I dont know how they do business, or how their drivers get paid but theres no way I received that much fuel.

DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! We went through oil SO quickly, that it was insane. I heard from our co.(very reputable company) that they popped up out of nowhere & god only knows what low quality fuel oil they use!! The guy(from our current co.) The nice man from our co. left b/c he didnt even want to get into the truth about Wise choice(VERY UNWISE CHOICE)!

My choice would be NO stars so I guess Ill leave one! Wise Choice advertises that they will beat any competitors verified price. Yeah right!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I also was looking for a same day delivery on a Friday. Wise Choice was offering 142.9 and a competitor was offering 138.9. When I asked for the same price I was told that the competitor was only delivering the next day (Saturday) so if I wanted the same price that I would have to wait until Monday. REALLY? Is this their idea of sound business practice? Shame on you Wise Choice. I will NEVER EVER order from them nor will I recommend them to any family or friends. Perhaps the owner should fire the dummy who answered the phone who is helping him to lose the customers he already has and prevent him from getting any new ones!

Unbelievably great service. Driver came 30 minutes after I place my online order. There was a lot of snow on the ground and path was not shoveled. He said no problem and trugged through the snow to fill my tank. Thank you Tom, and wise choice fuel oil for a great experience with your company.

Im a little conflicted here... on one hand their oil delivery service is always on time; yet I wonder if Im getting clean quality oil?? Has anyone else been having problems with their boiler since buying Wise Choice oil?? Ive been ordering oil from them the past 5 mos. or so and, my boiler keeps filling up with soot. Their service guy came out 3 weeks ago to clean, vac, tune, change filter and nozzle after us doing just that 6 mos. ago with another company. I had to call Wise Choice for service a second time because the boiler was full of soot again with black smoke coming out the sides of the chamber.I was happy to get service on a Sunday, but that feeling quickly left when I was quoted one price over the phone that changed in the end. When I called the office to check on their prices, no one could give me a straight answer; instead they put me on hold and texted the service guy, who got so upset, he stomped his feet and stormed out of the front door. You know he returned for his money though...It turns out, according to the lady from the office, that the service guy is actually the OWNER - SO he can make up his own prices. Would I recommend this company to anyone? MAYBE NOT, after this last experience. Plus, Im not sure if the service guy/owner (Chris) got it right this time; NOW my boiler fires up with a bit of a noise, but at least its working for NOW. Thanks Wise Choice Oil and you too Chris. Ill be looking for a new company to supply all my heating services. Or better yet, perhaps Ill get a new gas boiler installed instead.

I ordered oil Tuesday for Thursday and well the snow storm... however, they came to me 1st thing in the morning Friday. Friday was still brutally cold and side roads werent great. They were getting killed with calls and complaints but still managed to kind. Thank you!!

This is the worst company.........I have been a customer of wise choice fuel for over 5 years, though this is the first time I had them service my boiler. Today I had two service technicians by the name of Brian and Kevin(service manager) come to my house to service my boiler. Prior to him arriving my boiler was operating without any problems. While working on the boiler he said that a switch needed to be replaced because if the broiler stopped, the boiler would not restart. I said ok I’ll change it out in the next few weeks( I didn’t think that there was an urgency to changing the switch because the boiler was working without any problems before he got there). After he left I no longer had heat or hot water. I called back to advise them of my boiler not working only for Kevin to be rude and disrespectful telling me to find someone else to service my boiler. Don’t ever use wise choice fuel, they break your boiler and leave you in the cold.

An employee on 5/08/2017 in truck number 12, was extremely unprofessional. Not only did he behave unprofessional, he spoke the same way. As an oil delivery driver, visiting peoples homes, there should be a certain level of professionalism and customer service. These customers pay for wise choice oil and stay paying customers, they should be treated With respect. Supervisors should absolutely do something about this, with all the other oil companies, wise choice oil should train their employees in customer service to set themselves apart from other oil companies. Im VERY upset and disappointed in my encounter with wise choice oil this morning. Im hoping a supervisor will do something about this unfortunate incident.

I heard a knock at my front door; I opened it and see the fuel truck in the driveway but no driver. I saw the driver through the back window walking from the fuel tank towards the driveway, so I headed for the front door again. I opened the door to see the truck pulling out of my driveway. I immediately called Wise Choice and they said the driver claimed I slammed the door in his face. I asked if he was coming back and they told me not today. Nice. I’ve never had an issue with any other fuel company. I strongly recommend ordering from a company such as GRISSOM instead. I suppose it is my fault for not looking at all the one star reviews here first. Lesson learned.

I got a couple of deliveries from them through the cash heating oil website, they offer a cheaper price there so be sure to ask for their cheap price when ordering from them. I wasnt happy with the fact that they told me to expect another company for my delivery on the phone. They said Fisheye fuel would be delivering both times but Wise Choice delivered instead. Finally when I asked the driver about it he said that theres no Fisheye Fuel, they just use this name online on cash heating oil. I find it confusing and misleading. Why would a company present themselves with a fake name? Theres something fishy indeed.

The worst fuel company ever!! We had no heat and could not get service even though we had a contract! Serviceman was so nasty and arrogant.

Minutes prior to my bad review, there were only 5 1 star reviews. Then when I checked the website 15 mins. later there were 9 5 star ratings. This Company apparently has friends and family members leaving fake reviews for them which account for those 5 star ratings. All of a sudden all the negative feedback is missing off their website. Buyer beware. Call the BBB and the Sfk. Cty Consumer Affairs Bd. and lets see how we all make out. It is a crying shame how they take advantage of us. My dad and I were cheated out of a whole .75 gals on 2/2017. Buyer beware!!!!
