Service was friendly. Food was hot and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their dished and was already talking about our next visit. We arrived around 11 am on Saturday and no wait.

Waited an hour, all we got served was water so at the hour mark we gave up hungry. Everyone else who arrived after we ordered seemed to enjoy their lunches. Theirs smelled nice, wish we could have tried ours.** Thank you for the reply! We will try again and I look forward to updating the review - everything truly looked and smelled delicious.

Worst service Ive ever had. The food was okay, and we waited over 30mins for our drinks. Which honestly didnt bother me that much. Where the issue really starts is the fact that my friend and I forgot our masks and as we were paying for our meal we asked the gentleman up front if he had any. During this time a cook comes out and practically yells at my friend and I, stating how we should know better, and kept mumbling god only knows what. (All while his mask was below his nose!) The whole experience was honestly really embarrassing. Im not an anti mask wearer, and Im fully vaccinated, AND Ive worked in the health field for many years! I was so shaken up by how embarrassed I was that I called the manager who was equally as rude as the cook. She wouldnt let me talk and she kept talking over me to the point where I finally lost my cool and told her to shut up so I could finally get a word in. At that point she went on a whole other rant so I ended the call. If I had been an anti mask wearing and looking for an argument that would have been one thing, but no, I was simply taking my friend out for her birthday and forgot my mask. The gentleman working the register apologized as the cook was going off on us, but with how the manager treated me after, I will not be returning.

French toast and biscuits and gravy were good. Breakfast quesadilla was kinda bland.I understand it is hard to find experienced service workers due to COVID but I counted at least 7 front of house workers during my stay at this small restaurant so they had plenty of staff. The problem is that they weren’t trained well (or they just didn’t care).We are normally extremely patient people but we were very disappointed by the lack of service. The only time anyone checked in with us was when we originally ordered. We had to get up from our table more than half an hour after we were seated to ask for water. Our other drinks didn’t arrive until we were almost done eating. Someone came to bus our table before our bill even arrived, grabbing things from the middle of the table, including our unfinished drinks from in front of us, without even asking if we were done. After getting our bill I sat for over half a hour waiting for someone to take our card, no one even glancing our way, before I finally asked someone for help only to be then told we needed to go to the front to pay (we were not told this before). We ended up being there for almost 2 hours. The food came out quickly after we ordered, if the rest of the service had been prompt we would probably have only been there about 40 minutes. I understand some lag due to COVID struggles, but this was excessive.

A superb find for downtown Medford. Excellent breakfast/brunch dishes that were freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. Well behaved family friendly. Service was great with a full bar too. Prices are a little high but worth it for the quality/quantity of food. Atmosphere was clean and posh while being very inviting. Anytime Im in Medford Ill be going here for a great brunch.

Beautifully presented, creatively prepared, delicious food in an elegant yet earthy atmosphere. Excellent service. I just love these people and the delicious surprises they concoct.

Good restaurant, but ranked much higher than it really is. Huevos Rancheros, eggs are rather small and only one egg. I havent seen it anywhere that advertised as eggs it really has egg. Looks better than taste. Far away from good Mexican places and 2 times as expensive

June 2, 2019 update: Downtown Market is now Open at 123 West Main ( where Bohemian club used to be). DMs new location has Much nicer Dining, Bar and Kitchen facilities. Spacious seating where private conversations are easy. Saturday and Sunday for brunch from 9am until 2pm... and weekdays 11-3 for lunch. Check website to confirm.Both menus change.. but currently offering Quiche, Breakfast Plate, Breakfast Bowl, French Toast, Waffles, Panini, B&G...all prepared creatively and tastfully. Menu is similar to previous location with mimosa, bloody Mary, coffee, OJ and other drinks.High quality experience and certainly one of the best brunch and lunch places in Medford, Ashland or GP.RecommendedFeb, 2019:Hmmm... still testing Downtown Market and Over Easy Sunday brunches. Early impression (8+ visits each) is that Over Easy has the best brunch / breakfast in the valley...and the DM has more variety for weekday lunches....with caveats. Both places menus constantly change... selections are restricted (3 to 4 main dishes with sides) and prices reflect the high quality ingrediants and artistic preparation. (main course, drink and tip circa $20) If you are looking for a large portion of cheap, fast and salty food... move along.... nothing to see here.Downtown Market and Over Easy are both Highly recommended. DM has a wider variety of creative desserts. But... Over Easy has amazing Johnny Cake which defies description. The counter and bar at DM is more conducive convivial conversations with bright thoughtful transplants and locals. Customers at either restaurant will be pleased to share the dining experience at possibly... Medfords best restaurants. Only Porters and Bambu, when their chefs are at peak performance, may be equals.BTW...best breakfast/brunch in GP...is Mamosas...second place is prob Lulus or Twisted Cork.If you want to experience what is possible in Medford...better go to Over Easy or Downtown Market now.

A brunch to write home about! Food all very finely balanced for flavor, presented beautifully, with nice portion sizes. Decor is great, staff is very friendly, we will go again soon. Support local business!

We were warmly greeted & seated within 5 minutes. The interior was charming. We sat across from the kitchen & watched chef prepare our brunch. The food was nicely plated and service was friendly & efficient. I had the open faced salami/egg sandwich it was very good. My friend had omelet and she enjoyed her dish too. I understand the menu changes frequently. We will be back again for sure!

Nora created a delicious charcuterie tray for our adventure elopement in Brookings. We wanted something we could travel and hike with for a picnic after the ceremony. She packaged everything up for us, and the entire spread was amazing! Exactly what we wanted for our reception picnic lunch!

Absolutely love this place, the atmosphere, music and food. The music played is fantastic and the menu is unique and delicious. The basil lemonade is a favorite along with a to go container of dessert whether it be lemon rosemary shortbread, molasses cookies or the delicious crack pie (oh my heavens its unbelievably salty, sweet goodness) after enjoying an amazing meal!

Great inventive food and cocktails! So nice to have somewhere that serves great local food that isnt the boring fare I see so often. Reccommend for sure!

Absolutely horrendous service and poor dining experience (or lack there of).Arrived at 11:45. Ordered drinks/food before 12pm. Sat and waited until 12:50pm- no food/no service.Got up and left because we never received what we ordered.Terrible service & experience. Do not go unless you want to wait around and waste your day.We left money on the table and walked out without any sort of resolution/apology/attempt to remedy our poor experience.Will not be visiting again.

Went for lunch at the new location with my counterparts from our judicial review board. The Three B’s flatbread was fabulous. While my original soup choice was a little too spicy, the waitress graciously offered me something else to try. The chicken soup was delightful. I would highly recommend this charming restaurant. Great staff, food, and ambience!

It was my first time and the restaurant came highly recommended by friends. Unfortunately, not all aspects lived up to the expectations. The food was good but service a bit slow and scattered. Several people in our party had to repeat their requests several times, and they still didnt get it (for example, water refills, cream for coffee, another coffee, etc.) The atmosphere and decor are lovely.

This is a world class place faintly reminiscent of the legendary Court of the Two Sisters in New Orleans (its that good)... Imaginative food perfectly prepared and excellent service. It is only open Sat and Sun for breakfast and lunch but worth the wait.

You cant go wrong with whatever you order here. I had a breakfast plate that was incredible. The vegetables were a combination of fresh and pickeled, which with the eggs, bacon and potatoes blended perfectly. There was a wide favorite of pastries/deserts that looks delicious. The service was fast and friendly. As long as Ive been going its never been completely packed so it feels like a hidden gem.

To be fair the food was great. We had a party of five. In the first eight minutes we were there, three different servers asked if we were ready to order, we told each of them we were waiting for our fifth person. Once the last of our party arrived we waited 12 minutes for any service. They messed up one of our orders. The biscuits and gravy is 13 Dollars and included one biscuit. Down the street at over easy the biscuits and gravy are huge and both places use quality Ingredients so its not like Im comparing it to lil pantry. Kind of disappointed, but will probably give it another try

I saw a commercial on TV for this place. My wife and are always looking for new cutting edge dinning experiences.So we went in for lunch . Started off well. Sat fast so far so good. We ordered 2 Bloody Marys and a pasta bowl with chicken.Then the chicken was under cooked. Then the broccoli had an off taste. So we set the dish aside and we where ignored. All the wait staff walked by multiple times obviously looking at our table and walking by without stopping. After about 20 min I tried twice to flag down a server. Finally we where acknowledge the server apologized took the plate and said there would be no charge. Then a manger? Came out and gave us a $25.00 giftcard to come back. Then we where ignored again. We had to ask for our check after sitting fo another 20 min with no food. Just saying.

We walked into Downtown Market just a few minutes before they were getting ready to close. We were kindly received and enjoyed the most wonderful lunch: two salads and a Dragon Bowl. Everything was fresh, flavorful and lightly dressed -- nothing was greasy or overdone. I also appreciated that nothing was oversalted, so we could each salt our food as we preferred. Portions were large. The coffee was delicious, and my two dining companions enjoyed their desserts.We ate on the patio, which is full of lovely plants and a relaxing place to enjoy good food and conversation.I highly recommend Downtown Market. The people are gracious and professional, and the food is remarkably good. I will be back 😊

The only reason I am giving this a five star is cuz we cant give this a 6-star! The food was excellent and totally lives up to the hype. What made the experience outstanding though, was the service. I wish I lived close to Medford just so we could come here often.

Fabulous new address - very CHIC! The Great staff surpassed by incredible chefs. Three of us had brunch - Flawless and fabulous. Novel and unique Shopping items - gourmet. The owners are The Best! Knew them for years at the old address. We always go to Downtown Mkt when in Medford - HANDS Down-one of the TOP Five restaurants in Medford AREA.

Super cool place! Went in with a couple friends Sunday for breakfast and has a very enjoyable experience. I like the idea of having a very limited menu, because it means they can focus on doing a few things extremely well, and thats exactly what they did! I had the pancakes, which were amazing and the lemon chantilly whipped cream was one of the most delicious things ive ever tasted. Definitely a place to check out again. Really cool atmosphere and excellent food.

My go-to place for lunch in Medford. The menu changes every two weeks, so theres always something fresh and amazing to choose from. The owners are great, and the flavors are always wonderful. The atmosphere is also inviting with I ts rustic, eclectic charm. Downtown Market makes for a lovely place for a date, or even just to sit and relax while shopping downtown. You wont be disappointed!

My boyfriend and i had brunch here today. I had the buttermilk waffle with lemon curd and blueberry syrup and he had the breakfast burrito special, that i wished was on the menu always. The tomatillo sauce really made the burrito. Im normally the kinda gal to slather with sour cream and salsa and this was great just the way it was served. My waffle was good, but a touch too sweet and came with no side so there was nothing to bring balance to my taste buds. I think keeping the lemon curd more tart would help with balancing the sweetness and maybe a less sweet whipped cream would be nice. The portions arent large, but Im a light eater for breakfast so that was great for me and nothing on the menu was over $13 and i can totally handle that. But i will probably go with a breakfast burrito of some sorts next time and snag something sweet from the delightful looking baked good deli.I had the mango and hibiscus mimosas and wanted to try the Pear but couldnt lush out too hard in the start of my day. The mango is nice and sweet and the hibiscus is subtle and definitely more on the dry side. Both were delicious.The subtle changes to the interior of the building made it feel smaller that the previous business that was there but i think that for what the current business is, that it was the right call. I think the atmosphere was much cozier and very pleasant. The music was good and the service was prompt and nothong but kind. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for bringing a nice breakfast spot into Medford.

Great little kitchen accessory shop and eatery for weekday lunch or treats. Owners are often present and friendly. The five-star clincher however is Over Easy, the weekend pop-up brunch that uses their space on Saturdays and Sundays and is BY FAR the BEST breakfast in all of Medford.

Everything Ive eaten here has been fresh and delicious. No complaints whatsoever.
