Disappointed that I drove to this Dollar General location from a few towns over only to discover it was CLOSED at 4 PM. A sign clearly stating their open hours (everyday, from 8 AM to 9 PM) was visible on the front door, right above the padlock lock. A few customers like myself were milling around, trying to figure out what was going on. I went to the Target next door and returned 45 minutes later - still inexplicably locked up midday.

Since this DG has reopened after being closed for a bit, it is so much nicer inside. Clean and new staff is wonderful. They are all very friendly and helpful. They just recently had their grand opening and I found pretty much everything I was looking for. The new manager John is very friendly and always smiling, which is nice to see in this industry. I will definitely be back and will refer all of my friends there.

This store makes its own hours then completely shits down without notice. I wish I could rate -5 because its extremely inconvenient. I loved this store and prices.

Good store just not a huge variety of things. I was looking for body wash there was only a few. I looked for shorts found none. Looked for water bottles found none. Looked for phones or tablets found none. Looked for towels again found none.

This location is closing for good. Recently put up signs on the doors and windows to let people know that this location is closing.

I visited this place one time and I will never go back! The workers were so rude and disrespectful to me! They Didn’t want to help me with anything and the guy really rolled his eyes and told me off when I asked him how much something was! I have never been treated so rude in any store ever!!Plus the store it self was messy, dirty and a lot of the prices were higher then the grocery store !!They need to hire new people who actually like their job of customer service !Seriously!! I have worked in customer service a few times in my life and it is because I actually like talking to people!! Why would you hire someone who is disrespectful, rude, and gets angry when someone asked for help !!

Inside of store is ok but they are about to loose a lot of senior citizens that dont drive whom need a Bench or two to sit on in front of Store. Will not go where not comfortable and safe.

I went there yesterday. Three staff on duty. Waited 15 minutes in line! REALLY? The manager or boss there had an attitude problem. (God forbid we bothered you with a question!!) They had outside help who had absolutely no idea what to do and could care less that I was overcharged for something. He went in slow motion. When someone else complained he said I dont work here. They sent me here. A family of kids jumped the line ahead of everyone and later their father complained they let others go 1st. Smh. I wont be going back here.

Medford store . Not all product have prices no scanner to check prices you have to try to find someone to help you. Store and shelves are very messy and disorganized. The first time I went in was the week they opened very neat and clean and lots of help. Since then they gone way down hill no one knows what they are doing . God forbid you ask an employee for help it’s like you are bothering them very rude . I’m thinking either they will close very soon or maybe crack down on their employees

I like the Dollar General Everythings a Dollar and everything is reasonably priced very good. All they need is more staff to be on the floor

Not well organized, lots of critical products have been discounted. normally you expect cheapest prices for this kind of store but it was competing with regular supermarkets. websites says graph paper is in stock for this branch but when i arrived there it is not. it was bad experience for me...

Edit/Update: As of the 11th of January I noticed the store is reopened. The new staff seems very serious about turning the buisness into a much better state. Things are actually in stock, the people who work there are very nice and ask if need help with anything (previously the employees were hard to even find). Im changing my review from 1 star to 5.When the store first opened it was nice, ever since its gone exponentially downhill. The staff had changed so many times and the store itself literally looks so disheveled that I was suprised it was opened. Randomly over the past few months they have been randomly closed or posted papers in sharpie that they were either closing at 4pm or not at regular hours. Currently the sticker on the door says 8am to 6pm. As of todat when I walked by a paper was taped to the door saying the store was closed until further notice. Hopefully they fix their issues with stock and staffing, I live in the neighborhood and the store is a complete eyesore. Id much rather another buisness get the retail spot if when (or if) they reopen and continue operating as they have.

Good place to get some deals...a lot of times it is cheaper than the big name brand stores

Always filthy and understocked. Staff are very rude and look so disengaged and uninterested in the work. Some of the staff look like theyre on drugs. Prices are high for a dollar stoew. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Great staff, always out of stock on most things I’m looking for and wish they stayed open later until atleast 11pm on Friday and saturdays. Now that target is in the same building and is open until 11 on saturdays I think the dollar general should do the same

On the website it says open, at 9:43 am the doors are locked and the customers at the door without knowing why the doors locked! leave notice at the store door, so the right time to open and close. PLEASE

This isnt a dollar store - nothing in here is $1. The lowest price I saw was $1.25, but I also saw things up into the twenties.

It was a very big dollar tree it had alot of things that normal dollar trees wouldnt

A store you walk in today & should be called General Dump - boxes everywhere & shelves with stock a disorganized mess - you should walk in & it should be clean with floor waxed with a place you indeed want to shop ! Close store & get right - you have Target which is inviting & clean at one end of Mall & Rite Aid which is at least clean but needs a update.& this place,

This place is so sad they never have enough staff so sometimes they close early.

Sign says they close at 10pm on Sundays but the doors are locked, lights are in but cant see any employee in the store. This is the 3rd time this has happened-

Shelves not stocked most of the time and the floors are disgusting sometimes, for example there would be a very clear spill on the floor and you could tell the employees about it and they still wouldnt pick it up.
