The absolutely worse deli I have ever been too. The owners behavior is appalling. I never have been to a place where they spoke to there costumers like that. The staff are unprofessional and don’t know what they are doing. It’s like a bunch of kids having a chat session and get bothered when you make an order. Forget if they make a mistake on your order they will argue with you! The food is horrible also! Do not waste your time take the extra 5 minutes and go to another deli! Shocked this place hasn’t closed down yet!!!!!

Really delicious place with VEGAN breakfast sandwiches! Theyre always delicious and the service is friendly.Update: It appears that the bacon and sausage were mislabeled as vegan and are actually vegetarian. Other vegan products appear to be correctly labeled.

What place purposely takes their phone off the hook? They are so many staff members behind the counter you cant put 1 person on the phone to handle orders? Some people rely on pick up for reasons. And why would i place a pick up on door dash etc for more expensive prices? **Cant wait for the owner joeys rude responses on this like he does with every other paying customer review. Look through them youll see how he always blames the paying customer, not his staff. ** Only a couple staff here are pleasant to talk to and actually do well.

The food is fresh made and delicious. Dont worry about a crowd online. This place has such a great system to hand out preordered food as well as walk in orders. I was served and out so quickly! Also, they have a number of booths if you want to stay a while.

The owner here was absolutely rude. I walked in to see him yelling at his workers. He then yelled at me when another worker tried to assist me and then made me wait to pick up my food that was already sitting on the counter ready. My family and I have spent a lot of money at this establishment for several years. Never again. The behavior I witnessed today was completely appalling.

Terrible customer service for a mediocre product, I mean, almost $8 for a bacon egg and cheese? To be made badly? The old lady cashing people was eating breakfast the same time she was ringing, nasty attitude. The sign at the register says, be nice or get out, that should apply to the people working there as well. Too expensive, no order, nasty employees, I know that place has been there a while not sure how, dont waste your money or time, the egg sandwiches were not good. Ill never go there again.

Breakfast was awesome. Egg sandwich: creamy cheese, crispy bacon and eggs scrambled just right. Ordered some bagels to go and they are spectacular.

I am happy to see they have vegan options. I got 2 vegan egg sandwiches with vegan egg vegan cheese and vegan bacon. I was charged $22. I new getting vegan options would be a little more but as the picture shows, this is not a $11 dollar sandwich. Cheese not even melted. And please dont tell me it doesnt melt because its vegan, I use vegan cheese everyday and it melts beautifully. Theres no excuse for this and its sad because theres not many deli options for vegans yet.

Ordered through Uber eats. Got a dozen bagels and two coffees. The bagels were pretty good and the food was delivered quickly.

Every time I order, even early in the morning the bagels are hard. Never taste fresh. Hard enough that 1/2 way through my jaw literally hurts. Cannot enjoy at all. Deli iced tea is also not your typical deli Ice tea, it’s gross unless you like sweet tea. Only gave 2 stars bc delivery is fast but I wouldn’t order here again.

I’m really disappointed I go to this place all the time and recently it’s been worse and worse. My bacon egg and cheese had no bacon on one side. The time before that they forgot the cheese. I normally don’t judge because I know it gets crazy busy and I wait no problem even if it takes longer but not getting what you even ordered is unfair.

Every time I come here I ask for them to let the bagel cool off before buttering it because every single time I come home to a pool of butter seeping through the entire bag with a ruined bagel. Not only is there food terrible there costumer service is even worse. The 3 owners and staff there are beyond rude and are disgusting to there costumers. They have a bunch of teenagers running around fighting in front of the costumers also! Would not waste my time or money!

They forgot something on an order, which happens. I called and let them know. The manager delivered it to my house within 30 minutes. Great customer service and the food was fresh and delicious.

Order an everything butter bagel got a plain cream cheese bagel instead. Order a Poland spring sports bottle, got a tiny polar spring bottle instead. Order two chocolate chip cookies they were chocolate chip w peanut butter chunks (person who wanted these is allergic to peanut butter). Order sat outside my door for over 10 mins w no email/text/call to let me know it was delivered. Thankfully Grubhub refund the entire order but Honestly how do you get all 4 items out of the order completely wrong? This place needs to slow down and pay attention to what they are putting together. Everything besides the water had to be tossed out.

The thing that stands out to me about this establishment is the kindness that it seems they extend to patrons. Sounds cliche but it really does go a long way when I walk into an eatery and I am politely greeted (especially in the covid era) and the employees seem to be genuinely decent human beings. You can get a bagel or a sandwich at a lot of places. You continuously patronize a place for the attitude and ambiance. I just left and a young woman at the register gave me a tip on how to enjoy a crumb cake I bought with my lunch. Its the little things that stay with you.This place nails it every time and I hope they get every bit of business from the DMV in the same shopping strip. The food is good too. Keep up the great work.

Never the one to public shame or talk negative about an establishment. But enough is enough. Besides being the most overpriced bagel shop in America. For the third and final time I was not impressed with the service I received when I walked through the door, and my sandwich was terrible. For the third time in a row now I received my eggs over easy. The eggs were overcooked, not runny. The cheese was cold and not melted, and the bacon was also cold and chewy. If I’m paying $10.00 for a eggs sandwich and a medium coffee, I shouldn’t be given an attitude when I call and then told to come back.

Denied a Hero at 245 because of cleaning chemicals on a slicer. I worked in a deli for over a year. The woman was just to lazy to have to clean the slicer again, which takes about 5 minutes.If the store closes at 330, then clean the slicer at 330.

Bagels are good. Guy at the front doesn’t has a mask fitting perfectly and just speed out. While cases are rising in Suffolk doesn’t give me much confidence in a shop with a guys mask not covering his nose or mouth.

We would always order our egg sandwiches from here. While on line today to order my sandwich, i noticed many of the employees behind the counter were not wearing their masks properly.. many below their nose, some barely covering their mouth, including the workers on the grill. I was going to say something, but didn’t.. I’m not the type to usually complain. When i got my sandwich home, there was a long hair cooked into the cheese. I called immediately to express my concerns, however the gentleman that answered the phone seemed as if he couldn’t care less of what i was saying. I am now at a bagel store down the block, where all employees are properly wearing their masks and the employee on the grill had on a hair net. Pleas beware of covid exposure and hair in your food if you go to bagels your way in Medford.

I’ve come back to amend my old review. After several more visits and several *really freaking delicious* sandwiches from BYWC, I am here to say that they’re a fabulous shop and I highly recommend popping in for a yummy hero and a giant iced tea! Staff is friendly and accommodating as well!

Standing 2nd on a 2 person line for over 15 minutes no one even acknowledged us on line,kept walking past us working in other orders. I understand when someones busy but to at least acknowledge and say well be right with you nothing I ended up leaving without ever being served. Ive been there a many of times this is not just an isolated problem. But on the positive note their food is very good fresh and I love their bagels.

Was in the area for work. This place is not worth the local hype. Even the plain bagel was tasteless and over baked. I do not recommend.

This was very odd. I asked the counter person for well done home fries . She told me “I’m sorry I’m going to be honest with you, the owner is not letting me cook the home fries well done, he’s taking them out as quickly as possible because were busy”. Dumbfounded. How do you allow this. Regrettably will not be going back.

People they are Pleasant and the food is excellent. Ive been there several times and no complaints yet. so go down there and give it a try you wont be disappointed.

This place used to be incredible. I paid over $60 for a few breakfast sandwiches and the food was COLD and the cheese on the egg sandwiches werent even melted - when I spoke to the manager, I was told that the driver came late but he said most of the time the cheese isnt melted unless you want it that way... what??? who says these things about a hot morning egg sandwich and paying over $60 ? No more. I am not returning there again.

Went this morning for 2 egg sandwiches and 1 cup of tea= $17???? i have never been in a more expensive bagel store, even in NYC. Absolutely not worth it while I stood there and waited for the counter help to stop chatting with one another and help the 4 people waiting to pay . Arrogance abounds at this store

Went here yesterday service was super fast ! Even though they were very busy they were organized and friendly. They have vegan cream cheese !!! I got the vegetable vegan cream cheese it was very good. We also had an egg sandwich on our order that was good !

Cozy little deli out here on the Island! You can tell how good they are by how busy the place is! The pastry case beautiful. An omelette, toast and a drink for $7. Good deal!

Awesome, dont let the long lines scare you off. That means great food awaits. The staff is great too, friendly awesome the line gets long they move it along quick. Britney and Rob are great always a smile to greet you. Even if you live a ways away its worth the drive.

This is an excellent place for bagels and or breakfast. The bagels are perfect in their chewiness. They do good breakfast sandwiches, I have not been here for lunch. I love their egg salad, too.

Good breakfast wrap, but I was a little disappointed with the chicken cutlet hero I got for lunch, it was supposed to be a Philly style hero, and there wasnt enough cheese.

I have lived in this area for years, in search of a great morning spot. This gem has been right under my nose the whole time. After trying them, I go no where else when Im near my home. Great food, very efficient and friendly staff. The crowd speaks for the food, me being out in minutes with my did speaks to their service. Love this place.

Always my place to get my bagels... the staff is the best and the bagels are always fresh. Thats the only reason I go back...As the years go by I have noticed the owner has become cranky as he works the register and takes the payments... he needs to be more pleasant to the customers and to his staff.

You like raw eggs? This is the place. Then when you tell them the sandwich has raw eggs in it, they try to tell you its cheese. Solid choice for those on a raw diet

Food is great. Every time I call to place a order for delivery they tell me to order from Uber eats. Which is extremely over priced compared to Regular menu prices, plus the additional charges over 10$ Between fee’s and tip. After placing my order via Uber eats I called to let them know the site doesn’t allow you to choose a coffee with your breakfast sandwiches. That I would like coffee with the each. He replied you will have to place another order separately for the coffees (which would cost me 20$ for what should have been included). That really annoyed me and quite honestly they lost a customer. For three egg sandwiches my total came to $42.00! The fact he couldn’t add the coffee’s that are Suppose to be included In the first place is just bad customer service. Very disappointing.

I ordered a bagel with 2 eggs, bacon, and cheese and a small coffee, nothing else. $7.86. My jaw dropped! I asked the woman at the counter if she made a mistake and she stated she did not. Very pricey for a simple breakfast sandwich. Most places between $5 and $6. This is Medford, not Manhattan!

Rude Manager/Hair in foodWent there on a few occasions and the food was good but unfortunately, my husband ordered eggs and bit into a long string of hair. Tried to bring it to the manager’s attention without alerting other customers but the manager said to my husband that it was not a big deal. Of course it is! It’s a big deal to find a long string of hair in your eggs and it’s in your mouth! The manager again said it wasn’t a big deal and that he would make another batch of eggs for him. The manager never apologized and my husband told him that he was being rude and the manager then proceeded to ask if it was a money issue? The manager said that he was in business 27 years. Why would he even say that? We got our money back and as we were leaving he taunted my husband by yelling have a nice day. We had just gotten our food so I don’t know why he treated us the way he did. This happened today, 3/26 at around 11:00 am.

This bagel place makes great egg sandwiches. The sandwiches come out quickly. The coffee is nice and strong, and always made to liking. The staff is very friendly and always there to help when a problem arises. I stop in every day for work,and have yet to be disappointed. Try out the everything flagel for an overdose of seeds!!

I usually dont give reviews but Im new to the area, and went to this location twice after seeing the ratings. On my first visit my server was great. She was charismatic, managed my order well, but the only complaint was that my fried eggs were very runny...yuck!!! I really hate runny eggs. However, on the strength of her service I decided to give this place another try. On my second visit I got a young man this time and from the second after I gave my order, I knew I was making a mistake in returning. He looked like he had a long day already and it was only 11am. I was specific with my order and he rewarded me with a bagel that was burnt (I mean BURNT!!), fried eggs semi runny (I told him to please fry out the yoke), and an iced half & half with coffee...smh!! Thanks guys, on to the next bagel shop.

The prices are way too high. Basic deli. Tuna is disgusting brown. They say white meat tuna but it is definitely not and not home made. $11.00 for a tuna on on whole wheat. Where do they get off charging this much,. Never again!!

I walked into this store for a cup of coffee and did not feel welcomed. The staff is beyond rude and had a problem giving me a cup of coffee with creamer in it. 3 people walked past me, knowing I was waiting to be helped, but did not bother to ask if I wanted anything. The lady who was standing in front of the register had her head turned talking to someone who I guess was very important because she did not look up until I asked if I was allowed to order something. Ive never been talked back to in a restaurant/store before and the young girl who made my coffee seemed to be not so pleased I was asking her for something. Will never go back.

Cockroach infested restuarant, found a cockroach in a chicken sandwich I had ordered. Even when calling in for a refund they claim the bug came from somewhere else and that it was my fault there was bugs in my food? I dont understand why they do not get an exterminator. The food isnt half bad here but if youre going to be infested with cockroaches at least refund the affected sandwich. Eat anywhere else but here. A woman named shelly confirmed the deli had roaches however when I told her about my sandwich she all of a sudden began to deny it

All about music of any kind but annoyingly too loud especially in morning, we left with a huge headache, and must be why my roll for egg sandwich was not toasted as asked, she probably didnt hear me!,also annoying the gazillion items on menu wall, no possible way to read it as your being rushed to take order, finding new bagel /egg deli.
