Chris is always fantastic when explaining anything that is wrong with the car. He has been tremendous help when asking about preventative maintenance and doesnt make you feel like you are waisting his time. I booked an a1 service for my ml 350 after the Mercedes dealership told me it would be a month before I could get work done there and get a loaner. I was pleasantly surprised to find the service less than half the price of the dealership and it was quickly and professionally performed while I waited

Chris and his crew are amazing. I have a 2009 Mini Cooper that had no clutch when I moved up here. I use it as my tow car when I travel. The clutch went out while I was down in AZ. I waited to get up here because my son told me he know the best shop for the job! I got my clutch fixed then some other small stuff needed to be fixed up too. Excellent service, prices are fair and my trust level with the shop over all is extremely high. They are very busy so call ahead the best shop is worth a wait. I have never been more impressed with any other auto mechanics.They are beyond reasonable with their rates, they are very honest and friendly.I would recommend them to everyone.And if you own a mercedes Benz like I do they know what they are doing and they do not charge you a mortgage payment to fix your car.

Chris is a really unique mechanic. I’ve worked with a bunch of independent shops over the years, but rarely do you find a guy who both truly loves cars and is detailed enough to tackle complicated repairs. He took on a project of doing the timing chain service for the infamous Audi 4.2L v8. Involves pulling the engine and being super mindful. He was exceeding patient while I contemplated rescuing this engine, he communicated throughout, really explained what was going on at a level I could understand, and was really transparent about what we were doing. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience and I kind of want one of my other cars to need him for something!

I also really appreciated the time they spent with my questions and didnt feel like a burden in the least. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they now have a lifetime customer for all my vehicles!

This shop came referred by a couple friends and I took my car in for service. I drive a 2012 VW Golf R and went in for a clutch replacement.The staff is beyond welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. They knew more about my car than I did! I was given a quote and brought my car back in for the install just a few days later.I was extremely pleased to get a call about an hour an a half before expected to let me know my car was good to go and ready to be picked up.Labor rates and quality of work are OUTSTANDING!I will be taking my car here for ALL future work!

They will also never sell you anything you dont need, but like any good technician they will tell you everything and anything that might come up in the future. Well, I dont normally write reviews. If I do, it might be because of poor service or product. And thats to warn others to be aware. But occasionally I feel compelled to share my experience, especially like the one I have had with Northwest Autohaus. These guys are pretty amazing! I am very picky about my car, especially when someone is coming at it with some tools. I spent some time researching the type of work I wanted done, then took the time talking to and getting to know the guys at NWA. No doubt these guys are knowledgable and have the skills to back it up. I was so impressed by the work they have done, whether they like it or not, Ill be back. If youre looking for a place to take your car for basic maintenance (which I would assume there pretty good at) or performance modifications (which I know they are amazing at), stop by and give these guys look and you may find, like I did, that youll be done looking... In August 2017 I was on a road trip to CA with my family when about 25 miles South of Medford our Land Rover just shut down without notice. This was a Sunday afternoon and every auto shop I called was closed - understandably so. When Chris answered the phone I was surprised and greatly relieved to at least be able get an initial opinion of what was going on with the car. Chris quickly offered to take a look as soon as we could get to him and that he would wait. He said he understood our predicament and wanted to help if at all possible. I had it towed to Chris shop and he promptly moved some other projects he was working on out of the way and started on the LR as the sun was setting. Long story short, the engine was toast most likely due to a bad oil change/no oil event under a previous owners watch. The bearing damage had already been done and it was only a matter of time. We were stranded. Chris offered to drive me around to various car rental locations to find something to fit the family and get home. After 3 stops all over town, we found something to fit everyone. All in, I bet Chris donated (thats right, he did not charge me a penny even after I offered to pay for his time) well in excess of 8 hrs of his time and coordinated the vehicle to be picked up in Medford by a JLR transport and brought back to Portland for a complete warranty engine replacement. Chris is one of those rare business owners that truly takes the client perspective and does what he can to help with honesty and integrity. If I am ever in town and in need of auto assistance again, I will without hesitation go to Northwest Autohaus. I write this for anyone that is one the fence about a shop in the Medford area. Go to Chris. He will treat you right and you will not be disappointed. Chris, thanks again for all you did for our family.

Owning an Audi Allroad means youll be visiting the shop many times throughout your ownership. I cant count how many repairs bills I have had over 3 years, but I always make sure to choose the best shop for my baby.I tend to scope out a few shops at first and then stick with the one that not only offers the greatest service but also shares the same passion for cars that I have.When I first brought my Allroad in to Northwest Autohaus over a year ago, and spoke with the team and Chris, I knew this would be my go-to shop for anything I needed done on my car.Chris was incredibly laid back, very approachable, and he had a ton of knowledge about my car right when he saw it. I knew it would be in good hands, and boy was I right.I had one issue that another shop in Medford tried to fix but they couldnt get to the root cause of it. But after leaving it with Northwest Autohaus, the issue was found, the parts were ordered and soon my pride & joy was back to cruising the valley.The service doesnt just end in the shop, as the front desk gal, Cynthia I believe, was also very friendly and well-versed about my car. Several times she offered me advice and helped make sure my car was properly taken care of. Any questions I had about the repair bill, the status of my car or what I should be fixing next, she quickly and enthusiastically answered.Unfortunately, my time with my Allroad maybe coming to an end for now, but my next car will be another Audi and I look forward to bringing it in to these guys as I know theyll take care of me & my car.

My 2008 Audi A6 with 175K miles suddenly started running rough, with a noticeable decline in power. Chris had worked on it for years at Carrera Medford, so I took it to him. He diagnosed a ruined engine, in part from a crappy oil change (thanks, OilStop!). Travis walked me through my options, sourced a used engine, provided me a great loaner for a week, kept me informed, and got the job done in a week.I appreciate the great work and the great customer service. Ill be back - but hopefully for routine matters from here on out. Thanks!
