Everyone and everything went great and smoothly. They arent open on Sundays. Which is fine. I went on a weekday. The front desk gal was very polite and efficient. The mechanic was nice. He even sent me a text a week or two later asking how everything was going. People in Oregon are generally this way, very nice. I recommend this place for affordable auto repair.
Quick to take your money and not follow through with a complete job, doesnt take responsibility, and Austin is very quick to give attitude and blame the customer. Car was complete in 1 hour, never got a call to pick it up I had to call 4 times for someone to finally answer 4 hours later. I wont be back.
Had brakes put on the front of my pickup the people working there were very good and the job came with a lifetime warranty so just cant go wrong.
My sister goes in for a brake problem and they discover bolts missing in her caliper. They replaced the bolts without somehow realizing they weren’t threading tight and one of the bolts fell out on the highway as she was driving home for her appointment. Owner seemed more concerned about not getting a five star review than the fact the bolts fell out. They asked her to come back in and when she did they determined the threads in the holes for the caliper mounts were worn, so they offered to fix it for $350, $240 of which was for the part. She couldn’t afford that, so they let her go away as dangerous as that seems. When she got home we called around and learned the part was widely available at any parts store in town for less than half of what they quoted her. And this is someone they already charged $85 to “install” 2 bolts that didn’t even hold. Owner seems way more concerned about negative reviews than doing the right thing and taking care of people, so hopefully leaving this review will make them think a little harder. Positive reviews come from positive experiences - not harassing customers over the phone who don’t leave glowing reviews.RESPONSE to RESPONSE:Guess it doesn’t give me opportunity to reply, but you are slightly misguided about the timing. The mobile guy didn’t do anything to it until it was stuck in my driveway the same night she drove it home from your shop. She contacted you after to inform you about the missing bolts. He replaced them and she went back to your shop after you asked her to come in. You are also glossing over the part where after all of this you still had the gall to try and charge her $240 for a readily available $100 part!
Takes way too long to get a correct estimate! My disabled son went there to have his air conditioner checked. He was told it needed a belt turns out the compressor was froze up. He paid 825.00 to have new compressor put on. After he pays cash they inform him that his air conditioner still does not work. That something is wrong under the dash and that is out of their expertise. Their sign clearly says WE FIX EVERYTHING.They also have electrical on the above choices. Yet he paid over 800.00 for them to say oops it still does not work. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I wish they had a zero for a rating after they took advantage of my son.
I came in for an oil change, check fluid, rotate tires and inflate. within about an hr., they not only did this, but they had checked everything on the vehicle. they provided a list of what i needed to have done, along with an estimate.my last experience with the prior owner, was horrendous. it took them 5hrs. to do a job that they said would take 2hrs. when i complained after 4hrs. of waiting, they told me they had to run out for the part. their level of unprofessionalism was astounding. they gave me a free oil change, as a conscilation; and the new owners honored it.i am so impressed by these new owners at midas! i highly recommend them.
I went here for an oil change and a check up and they did a great job. They didn’t pressure me into anything and walked me though all the maintenance that my car needs. I always get super nervous taking my car in because I’m afraid that I’ll get scammed since I don’t know much about cars but the employees at this Midas did a really great job. They are good and honest people. I’ll definitely be returning to them for any further automotive needs.

I took my truck to Midas a few weeks ago and the staff there was super helpful. They were knowledgeable and didn’t pressure me into anything. It’s the best service I have had at any auto service place in the valley that’s for sure. I definitely recommend them.
So grateful that they were able to fit us in right away for an emergency realignment of the tires as we drove through on a road trip. I can’t recommend Midas enough. I went in for a check up because my engine light was on and the service I received was truly amazing. The staff there was so kind. They talked me though the issues my car was having and helped me understand all my options. Most importantly they were honest and didn’t try and sell me on anything. As a women I’m always nervous about going to auto repair shops because I’m worried I’ll get taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge but that wasn’t true at all at Midas. They are real genuine people who are just trying to do their best for their customers. I will absolutely be back and will recommend them to anyone looking for honest service

MedfordThe absolute worst car experience of my life bar none. They left bolts out from my brake calipers loose lug nuts no disc pads so much was left not done i cannot remember it all. Completely incompetent and down right dangerous. I was going at 70 mls an hour when the front wheel bearing gave out something I paid them to check I and many others could have been killed.Thank the good spirits that was not the case. I went to another shop right down the street, they fixed it in a few hours! Midas didnt even have the correct issues UnderlinedWaste of money, And a waste of my time!

I went in for a simple belt change that ive had done in the past. The tensioner broke while in the shop they said theyd get a new tensioner and a new belt on by morning left me sitting inside their shop for 4 and a half hours. I got my car the next day the tensioner is bent sideways theres a brand new ticking noise and theres wear on my belt, I paid 80$ for a new belt and got a worn one possibly the same one I had. I paid 160$ and will never go to midas again.

DONT GO HERE... THESES GUYS ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! I went in for new pads and to have my back rotors machined... They told me my front brakes and rotors were bad and needed replaced when there was nothing wrong with them (the rotors are completely smooth)... they also said the back rotors needed replaced because they were too bad to be machined... I told them the front rotors were fine and to just put on the pads, which they refused to do unless I was willing to buy new rotors that I didnt need... so I told them to just do the back... they charged me to replace the rotors, but they only machined them, even though I specifically asked to have them machined instead of replaced (because it cheaper), and they said the rotors were too bad for that...to summarize, they tried to sell me rotors I didnt need on the front ... on the back rotors, they charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary and that they didnt do... to top it all off, they over charged my card by $26... in the end I paid $400 for a $300 job and I still had to replace my front brakes pads because they refused ... and I went home and checked the front brake pads and they were not even close to low... they still had half of the pads left...they told me my pads and rotors needed replaced when they were both completely fine...dont believe the bull in their response below... now they are claiming they dont have me on file and they cant do anything, when I was there the same day I first wrote this...now suddenly no one knows what happened, so no one can account for their poor work and service, BIG SURPRISE.... ive been doing my own brakes for 25 years and have never had any problems... the only reason I brought the vehicle to them is because I knew the back rotors needed to be machined...the only reason, I dont go back for my $26 dollars is because I live too far away, and it isnt worth the drive...STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, THEY ARE LOOKING TO RIP YOU OFF EVERY WAY POSSIBLE!!!

Do not go to this Midas!I recently contacted this Midas (935 North Central, Medford, OR 97501) to replace the struts on my 2004 Honda Element as well as doing an oil change.Not only did they bend my rock shield on the front driver side rotor (tried to blame the scratching sound on my brakes at first), they bent my rear driver side break line putting in the new strut leaving it rubbing against the tire almost breaking it in half after only a week of driving; they also took 3 1/2 hours longer then they quoted me, and proceed to not do a proper inspection on my car. Neglecting to tell me that my two rear tires were splitting (the rear driver side was a-symmetrical) my two front drive axle boots were nonexistent, my tierod boots were completely torn up, and to top it off the technician didnt do the oil change I asked for (10,000 mile 5-20 synthetic blend) he used the standard 2,000 mile 5-20. When I finally got a hold of the store manager and owner Tom he refused to even listen to my complaints, and was extremely rude. When I mentioned going to small claims court he said Do It! then immediately hung up on me.I even tried to go to another Midas in Olympia (108 Northwest Kenyon St., Olympia, WA 98502), they told me about my drive axle boots and my tires saying my axle could fall apart then said they only had two hours left until they closed and told me they wouldnt do anything for me and recommended I drive across town to get used tires and go to Les Schwab.I ended up having to go to Les Schwab in Olympia (2825 Capital Mall Dr SW, Olympia, WA 98502), and they were extremely helpful, got us in immediately, and pointed out at least 5 different failed safety features Midas had green lighted originally.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I needed a safety check/tune up on my car and found the courtesy check online, which was free, with an oil change. I called to make sure they were going to check everything I needed checked and scheduled the oil change appointment. I was told at the time of scheduling it would take about 1½ hours. I dropped my car off, as I have children and cant sit in a waiting room that long with them. 2½ hours later, still no phone call. I tired calling 4 times in the next 20 minutes and nothing! 3 hours after dropping off my car, they finally called. Apparently their phones are down.... Not the problem.... When I showed up and walked in AND pushed the button to let someone know I was there, it took over 5 minutes for a guy to walk in from the shop and ask if I had been helped. After confirming they did NOT do the full check, like I was told would be done at the time of scheduling and the sale price, listed online is the CASH paying price. Not a big deal, but when trying to run my card, because the phones were down, it wasnt working. Mind you, at this point, my kids are in the car, waiting, so I threw down a $20, asked for a receipt and walked out. I was not even given an apology for ANYTHING!! Worst customer service!!! Not only that, I got in my car and drove less than 10 miles and my service engine light came right back on, which I asked them about and was told it was because my oil needed changed, which I know was wrong, because I wasnt even over my mileage for it being due! Needless to say, I will NEVER return to this place!!!! Not to mention the gentleman in the waiting room that had been there for 4 hours and no one working on his vehicle.... Seems to be a trend!!
I was doing my own tune up when all the sudden when I was done my car wouldn’t start. So I thought maybe I had just messed up the firing order but after 2 days of trying to figure it out I decided to take it to Midas they got right on it the next day and found out my ignition coil was burnt then they also found I broke my MAF sensor lol. If I would have taken it to a mechanic he probably would have charged me double what Midas did and take twice as long to even check my vehicle out but Midas had it running a day early even thank you guys!
James was the guy who helped us. I had some brake problems and he was awesome. I will defintly go back to him from now on will never go anywhere else. All of the staff there was very friendly. This is by far my best experience..... thank you midas
The one time I went to midas for my 2005 honda civic . They did a standard oil change. And when I went to go pick up the car. By the time I got home while driving I kinda noticed the car acting funny and just felt off.. well I got home and opened the hood. And my whole air filter and some other things were left completely taken apart under my hood. They never put it back correctly . Since Ive done all my own mechanic work. Thanks midas :)!

During our road trip we stopped for gas and suddenly our car started to make this horrible, loud squealing sound! Dropped into this Midas and they were so accommodating. Popped it up onto lift and Ethan immediately saw that the shroud was rubbing against the rotor.... all fixed and out of there in 10 minutes & no charge!!!Thank you sooooo much for the fantastic service!

Im sorry to say this but, I took my car to have it fix, they say that they fix the problem,but my engine light still come on. Then if I took a trip to visit my mom for mothers day. Im still afraid it might break on the freeway.
Oil change took an inordinate amount of time even though vehicle was immediately put on rack when I arrived. Cabin and air filter not in stock so were ordered and I came back next day to have them installed.

They guarantee good service in my opinion by offering free inspections and the repairs are covered under a in store warranty. Never had any problems with this company.

I came to these guys after 3 previous attempts to fix the brakes on my car. I am a fire evacuee who lost his home recently. My car is all I have and in the midst of evacuation it broke down in Portland. I took it to a place in Portland (Hi Tech Auto Repair) who took advantage of my situation to overcharge me while failing to fix the problem (replace calipers and pistons, repressurize line...basic stuff) putting me back on the road with dangerous brakes that ultimately lost pressure within 45 minutes of picking up the car from the shop.... mind you while on a 6% downhill mountain grade on the I 5. 😳So when I came to this Midas shop I was pretty upset and at my wits end having to deal with a warranty company and a shady garage both of whom had to contribute to the additional repair bill.I could not be more pleased with how well the Midas crew handled the situation and went above and beyond the Call of Duty to get my car fixed, deal with complex payments, and also help me with a proper and official damage assessment for future legal action against the shady garage.But even more than that they were extremely kind and authentically personable, and they were very patient with a stressed out crazy man. Theyre just good people and its clear they care.❤

While on a vacation trip Friday, July 3, our brakes were making unusual noises. The guys at Midas were fully booked for the day, but cared enough for our safety to inspect the brakes during their lunch break and fix the problem (failed brake pads). even though it took another hour. Thank you, James! You may have saved our lives!
Absolutely impressed by the professionalism of this location. They are extremely helpful, nice, and genuine. They have great prices and Tyler who works the front is a great person. He helped me save $1000 by identifying a check engine light that was supposed to be fixed through the dealership I purchased my vehicle through. Overall impressed by the people who work here who are extremely honest.

We stopped here recently heading home from vacation. Desperately needed a replacement tire as we had one on the front shaking badly. This was 5:00 on a Saturday, they advertise closing time at 6:00. Wouldn’t even bother to check if they had our size, as they were closing up (early) and didn’t want to bother with it. We had to drive home 300 miles on a dangerously bad tire. Don’t waste your time with these bozos!
I have brought 3 different cars with a variety of problems to Midas on Central. The mechanics here are honest. They dont try to make you believe your car has more problems than really exist. The price of repair is more reasonable than any other place that I have been to. Strongly recommend this Midas

ILL NEVER GO BACK.The worst. Got oil changed, went home, it dripped on my driveway. Took car back. They said they installed a bad filter. Changed filter. Took car home. Again dripped in my driveway. Went back. They said the owner was not there and they wouldnt give me his phone number. Told Tyler Watson, apparently the person in charge that I was taking the car to The Honda dealership and they are going to pay for it.Said he would have to talk to the owner. I said I would give them a week.Honda dealer said they cross-threaded the filter. Returned in a week, They would not give me my money back. They said they also talked to Honda who said the filter was not cross-threaded. Opposite of what Honda told me. Mr. Watson again would not give me owners name or phone#.Not the way a reputable business is run.ILL NEVER GO BACK.

On December 30, 2017, I stopped in to see if there was availability for an oil change. As the shop would be closing early in observance of the holiday, I was assisted in scheduling an appointment for my service the following Saturday. I received an appointment confirmation message as well as a reminder text in the days leading up to my appointment. When I arrived, I was quickly welcomed and assisted, my car back in my possession with a clean bill of health 30 minutes later. I was advised of service specials and what I may expect to need for service in about a year. Another customer in the waiting area even mentioned to me he only brings his Jeeps to this location because of the expert knowledge they have about that make of auto. I will definitely be back! Midas is the only place that changes my oil. Usually it’s all good but this time wasn’t so much. They told me they’d be done in time for me to pick it up during my lunch, it wasn’t. Plus I had to call and ask why because I hadn’t heard anything. Turns out the last time I was in, the technician stripped the drain bolt and they were waiting on a replacement. Would have been nice to get a phone call letting me know it wouldn’t be ready on time. I also had to call a couple hours later to check on it again because I hadn’t heard any updates. It was done but they had “forgotten” to let me know.Well, not the best experience.
So they have a new crew the old one was great. My only interaction has been with the person that claims to be the owner at the front desk had made appointments a couple of times on the website first time he didnt get it I guess second time when I went in he questioned whether I had one or not so drop the car off today when check engine light was on ended up having to replace the thermostat and the sensor but everytime I ask the guy a question at the front desk he seems like I was annoying him and it was like he was pissed off that I was asking a question so 300 some odd dollars later and you got upset when I asked for the parts back I just dont know about this place with these new people theyre not sure its why I only gave it two stars now its not the same place it used to beI have to say these guys are the most professional Ive ever dealt with with auto repairs they dont try to screw you over overcharge you there are missed absolutely the most dependable auto mechanics I found in the valley thank you guys

Stopped by Midas again today for some routine maintenance as well as a couple steering components changed. I received awesome customer service from the customer service rep Tyler. The mechanic (I dont know his name but know him as the Jeep Guy) was very professional and fast paced. I am always so happy and satisfied after coming to Medford Midas. They do not try to sell you on work that doesnt need to be done. Very honest environment. I will keep coming back again and again. 10/5 stars. Will recommend to all my friends. Thank you for keeping my foxbody going forever.

Their online appointment system is a joke I created an appointment it said that I was confirm from 930 to 11:00 a.m. then when I went in there the gentleman apologize for the inconvenience. He wont stand by his appointment confirmation and said he couldnt help, yet I had to wait at the counter for 20 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge myself or to say anything. rather kind of disappointed that this happens youd expect that they would that Stand by the online appointment times. You book an appointment wait 20 minutes in the office for someone to come up and they tell you to find somewhere else. Wonderful. This is why i usually do all the work myself but, this was for a friends car.

Fixed my ac on my odyssey, fast and accurate service. I thought I would have to replace a expensive part but was only a simple relay. Did work right and tested my car so I wouldnt have to come back with the same problem.

I’ve been coming to this location for over a year now and had multiple vehicle serviced here great staff honest people and I would definitely recommend to any and everybody!!!
I have always been satisfied with the service and integrity of the people at Midas in Medford. They do not try to upsell to me and advise me if my vehicle has any needs but never pressure me or exaggerate the condition of my car. Several times after an oil change and check up, they tell me that my car has no additional needs. I appreciate their honesty and will continue to do business with Midas. I recommend them to everyone.
Took my car into the shop to get my Lincolns fuel pump fixed and they fixed it but dodnt set the gauge correctly and to top things off I went into the shop with a full tank of gas and the car came back to me with only 3 gallons and I hit no reimbursement for my loss on top of the 808 I paid for the service. :( staff kinda ignored me and frankly felt like i wasnt important when I spent almost a 1000 dollars there.

I was quoted 4-6 hours for my repair, which ended up taking 3 full days. I waited Saturday night at the shop for almost 2 hours after their close for them to finish the job.And still wasnt done right! My van is still dying and leaking oil. I brought it back in to them after work today (Monday). The plenum gasket did not get put on right.I have to bring it back in for another day for them to fix their work.
I have three vehicles and I bring them down to the Medford shop for oil changes every three to five thousand miles. I make an appointments I get in and Im out within an hour great customer service and great pricing.

Price gouging parts at the expense of the customer, Negative customer service experience, implying that every other website that sells parts is cheaply made and expects customer to believe that we have to pay twice as much for a part just because it has a warranty. False. Looked up manufacture OEM part online specifically made for vehicle and was one forth the price quoted for part. Customers beware of fraudulent business.
I have been doing me oil changes there for a few years now, and they have always been very nice and pretty quick to get the job done. Thanks guys for all your help!
