This is the best art store that Ive found across the west coast. Ive been into art since I was 8 and have been to so many art stores, this little mom and pop shop, has everything that you could ever need for any artistic project, and if they dont have with I doubt because over the years they have always had my needs, they are more than happy to order it for you. Ive seen new employees over the several years that I have been in and out, but everyone single 1 that Ive ever dealt with, I make an awesome connection with.

Today I needed a couple of items. I had my service dog. Anne was at the register. My dog took a few seconds too long to get my items out of the basket to put onto the counter. Before she could get the first item, Anne said, I have to get to lunch, and I have customers waiting (there werent then). I said I am a customer! I also had to tell her my dog was an accomplished service dog. What she did interfered with my dogs duties, upset me and my caregiver had to complete the purchase. My dog could not do her job because this person was in too much of a hurry. Anne used this same attitude when I shopped there previously without my service dog. Just because you cant see a disability doesnt mean there isnt one. Just because a dog wears a jacket doesnt make it a service dog. But when you prevent or create a difficulty for a service dog to perform it causes a problem the next time she has to do her job, and creates a problem for me the next time. I will not shop here again for any reason. EVER. I AM A PERSON! I AM A CUSTOMER TOO!edit later: the day after I posted this, the owners reached out to me with an apology. I appreciate that. Thank you.

There is no other art supply store in southern Oregon like this place. Everything else is a craft store with a few fine art items, but you have to explore and experience their amazing expertise. Cant say enough about all the help they have given freely over the years.

This is a GREAT real art store, with all of the best supplies, and a professional staff that provides the perfect combination of understanding customer needs and expertise.Thats the tangible stuff, but it is the intangible that will keep me going back. A smorgasbord of every mediums array of goodies. Wonderful people, artists themselves, to provide first hand experience in certain cases. Its like a kid in the candy store experience for me, a real treat as I am 2 hours North in Roseburg and only vist a couple times a year. I always try something new to appeal to my curious creative. Oh yeah....beautiful handmade paper, I buy to line the drwywers furniture Ive refinished and for the Forever Gift Boxes I make.

I am always in need of art supplies for my business and Central Art Supply fits the bill every time. They have an amazing selection and great prices. It is a great little shop, and local too. Twice now I have found myself in need of products that are hard to find. While every other art/craft store in the valley was less than helpful, Central Art Supply saved the day. They have supplies no one else carries anymore, and still sells them at reasonable prices.In addition to their great selection of obscure art supplies, the employees are friendly and helpful. What lucky artists we are to have a store like Central Art here in little, old Medford. I’ve lived in large metropolitan areas and never seen a local art supplies store that can hold a candle to this place in terms of breadth of product and staff expertise. Some things my be cheaper online through Dick Blick but I prefer to support local businesses that help our economy and offer personalized service. Their hosted art classes and framing services are great, too. Big thumbs up.

Medfords finest and most accommodating art store. The selection is like a play land for artists, but if they dont have it then THEY HELP YOU GET IT ANYWAYS! Discounts are offered to students, and prices are already quite reasonable. Open stock products are available in a hugh selection. Classes are held regularly, and are quite fun plus educational. If you need advice the friendly staff will always help you out. Central Art deserves all 5 stars!
