Back in July, we had our son-in-law ship overnight early AM service from this store to my husband while we were in Florida. The package was over $100 to ship for the guaranteed early AM delivery. The package didn’t show up until 5:45pm the day it was supposed to be delivered. We contacted UPS directly who stated that the store would be responsible for issuing the refund. Our son-in-law went up to the store the very next day, they stated they would issue the refund by check in the mail within 10-15 business days even though he paid by debit card. The check still has yet to present itself, even though we have followed up on 2 separate occasions since the 3rd week of July. We will never use their services again.
Terrible customer service. I arrived just before the store was scheduled to close on a Saturday afternoon and a worker ran to the door to lock it when she saw me approaching the door. She explained that they were closed, but it wasnt time yet and the door was unlocked.I suppose she had somewhere else she wanted to be, and wasnt going to let servicing a customer get in her way.I need to note that another worker opened the door to give two packages to another customer at 3:08 pm, while I was sitting in my car writing this review. He was likely a regular customer, but the differential service level was fully noted.I assure you, I wont be a bother to this location ever again. 😡😡👎👎
Every time I go there I have to wait over a half hour because they only have one employee working. Im only dropping off a package and it only takes me 10 seconds to do my business, what is their problem
Yall need more people working when you open during the week at 8:30 am. One isnt enough. :(
It’s a busy location but every time I go someone is always asking customers in line if they’re able to complete their service without having to wait. They’re very efficient and Lizzi always has the biggest smile and positive attitude. Everyone’s friendly and great customer service :)
There are some hard working young ladies in this store. They are very efficient. I how how difficult this time of year could be with Christmas, but they were getting things done. During this pandemic these young ladies were enforcing that everyone that entered the store had a mask. I went to this location for a drop off a package and to mail another separate package. Both my pacakages were shipped and arrived in great conditions thanks to their recommendations.
Always a nice place to drop by and use the auto door opener, which usually doesnt work. But I have faith one day it will be fixed. Masks friendly Environment! Quickly acknowledged when I go in. Close to me, and I can walk to Krogers and get a Pint of Lager for the ride home. With the Masks the Police cant smell the Alcohol on your breath . Awesome times!!!!
Robin, the young lady who helped me today was ABSOLUTELY amazing. Superb customer service. By far the best Ive ever received at this location and I use their services very often.
I understand UPS policy is UPS Store franchise owners have been strongly encouraged to: Practice social distancing and limit the number of customers in the store. This particular location is very small, has put distancing tape on the floor but has zero enforcement. We left today after being sandwiched between a full store of unmasked patrons within 2 feet. Not sure if this is the stores fault or the patrons but it kept me from using the services.
Cheerful and helpful associates make all the difference in a company. There was a young woman there named Lizzie who was extremely helpful, courteous and so full of good cheer Ill be smiling for the rest of the day! Thanks UPS and thanks again LIzzie. 😊
Please open up earlier. Several mornings I have arrived just to wait in line to drop something off.
Since management has changed and the owner is rarely there they have younger employees working in the store it is ran very unprofessional and whenever you go to get any kind of printing done theres always a problem with the printer or the printer connecting to the email or some type of issue at this location I would highly recommend finding another location if possible to use this service. Plus it is always packed in there they do not understand how to manage customers they need to use a number system or something to make sure that theyre using the proper skills to sort out customers while they are backed up in their store. The location is very very small therefore with the holiday season the packages are all over the place.
Worst place ever!! Show up just minutes after closing after driving 20 minutes to even get here and no one will help. They see you knocking at the door and completely ignore you. I had one package!!! Knock again at door and they just say NoTerrible customer service
Dyno-mite! Not only did they notarize my documents, scan them, email them to me, put in folder for UPS overnight, but also took regular mail for delivery. This is service beyond my expectations, thanks for anticipating my needs UPS Store!
Very shocked at the lack of sanitation at this store in the midst of a health pandemic! Signs are posted for us, as customers, to do our part and wear masks and stand 6 feet apart. Now, as employees, we need you to do your part and sanitize in between customers when we are asked to provide a signature for package pickup. Also, there is no need for you to touch my driver’s license, as I will gladly hold it up for you to copy the information you need. Let’s all do our part, as we are in this together!!
Very disrespect, I went in there to drop off a package with my mom (she is deaf) after we were finished dropping off the package the lady helping us said she is disabled very rudely.
I don’t ever write reviews but the gentleman that helped me at this location was hands down the nicest and most helpful person I’ve ever met during my experience.
Every time I come here the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great job guys 👍
Apparently ADA does not apply to this location. They routinely discriminate against individuals with disabilities treating us like second class citizens. But hey at least they are friendly when they do it. I wont do business here again.

Very impressed with the way your staff (Daniel) handled a request for a funeral program for my father-in-law. After contacting OfficeMax they were rude, short and acted like I was inconveniencing them to do business with them. You guys over delivered with a quick turn around and a fair price. You delivered in 3 hours and OfficeMax said 24-48 hours. Good job UPS Mechanicsville.

The people that run and work at this store are wonderful. I use the location for banking also since they offer USAA service. They are wonderful to work with.
Dropped off my Amazon item, they scanned the return code ..done deal.
Saturday hours state they are open at 9am but as of 935 am nobody has opened the store. There are about six people very disappointed outside waiting.

I had reurn postage from a online purchase I made that arrived from ups broken. The box was opened and I had no tape, so along with destroying my package they also charged me to tape it back closed (even with paid postage). Guess thats how they stay in business by nickel and diming you... as if their postage isnt expensive enough when compared to usps. I can forsee a future where we have to pay extra for ketchp packets at fast food joints as well.
