Took my lunch break to go check it out and drop a Grand on some gear, with local guy/gal. Hand written memo on door stating closed April 5,6. Its 2021, we can’t do business like this. Google sent me so you need to check in with them when you take off to cozumel or whatever youre doing for the resurrection. Im not from the area but wouldn’t go back anyway. This is my pet peeve - id your hours are public then you should keep them current. All love though, tell me you have a USA Tele in stock, old or new, and Ill come back haha. 🤟🏻

Lovely place and very helpful people! We came here to pick out an instrument for my 7 year old. They helped us hold some instruments so he can see what he would be comfortable with and helped us pick the right one for him and set us up with some lessons!!

A nice store. The lady that runs the store used to run it with her husband. There are many memorabilia all over the wall and instruments to see whether or not you want to purchase, but mind you though: If you bring kids to the store let them know you break it, you buy it! Other than that theres a 2nd store next door, with rooms connected to that which gives kids lessons on how to play instruments. if you want your child to learn how to play an instrument this is a good place.

Ive only been here once to retrieve guitar strings for my son. This is definitely a mom and pop shop. Its small, quaint and the lady in the store was super nice and helpful. There was a steady stream of traffic inside the store as we waited to complete our purchase. They sell instruments and everything you need to maintenance or use your instrument, and even offer lessons. I would definitely go back for future purchases or even lessons.

We bought a violin here and were very pleased with the delightful owner who let us try out different violins at several trips to the store. A violin is quite an investment and I felt very comfortable buying from mechanicville music. We also have our flute serviced here and take music lessons from different teachers ... this is a place where all your music needs will be met.

Im sure its a nice place, but everytime I go by there to buy strings, it never seems to be open during normal store hours. Ive stopped by 4 times and the Closed, please come again sign is in the door in the middle of a weekday. Sucks, because its the only shop around. Maybe Ill get lucky eventually.

I went in looking for some guitar strings. After sitting and speaking with the owner for awhile I got to looking at one of his ukuleles. I asked him how much it was and he threw me a decent discount. Even discounted the strings a bit. Very nice, friendly, owner. I just moved to this area recently but he has my business for years to come.

I have gone to this store since March 2013 to get some acoustic machine heads. I would go in to the store every month to see if he had any on stock. I would have to constantly remind him what i need. I advise you to go to an actual music store.
