We picked out our appliances in March and recently had them installed. We got a full GE package and we love every piece. The wall mount microwave and oven are huge and heat up evenly. The induction stove stop is like a magic trick - water boils in seconds. The dishwasher is so quiet. And the French door fridge is plenty big with a ginormous freezer drawer. Thanks for helping us pick out quality appliances that stayed within our budget. When it’s time to do our outdoor kitchen we will be back

We bought a dishwasher from Lipscombe years ago and it’s still going strong! So when we needed a new washer and dryer, Lipscombe was our first choice.We have a difficult house in which to configure appliances, and Greg and his guys were fantastic. The first set we tried were simply not the right purchase for this home. Greg helped us get into a Speed Queen set and they are AWESOME!!!! The Speed Queen is quiet; the washer hardly moves at all; the interface is easy and responsive, and the clothes feel soft and clean when they come out.We are incredibly happy with them, in part because Lipscombe Appliance was dedicated to making sure we were happy with the final product — customer service you won’t get anywhere else!!!

Buying local is always worth the wait. It may have taken longer than the big box store but I never would have received the same service. My new dishwasher was about to be installed by the technician when we discovered it was damaged. Problem was my old one was out and trashed and I had family coming in that evening for a weekend visit that we had not seen in over a year due to COVID. It was a Friday and the installer had a full schedule for the rest of the day. I called the owner of Lipscombe, Greg, and explained what happened and that I really needed a solution that day. He called back to inform me that luckily he had one left and that he would be right over to install it himself. He arrived within 30 minutes and didn’t mind me being nosy, asking questions and even helping out. By lunch time crises had been averted and Greg saved the weekend. Final touch, 3 weeks later Greg called us out of the blue to say hello and ask how the new dishwasher was doing and if we were satisfied. You just can’t get service like this unless you BUY LOCAL! Thank you Greg!

Hands down- the BEST place to get your new appliances or get your existing ones serviced. Greg and his team are all about a great customer experience and will go the extra mile to ensure you are happy with your purchase. When you are in the market, definitely have to stop by Lipscombe and ask for Greg.

They had a great selection, Greg was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and the prices were better than what I was going to get at the big box stores for the exact same dishwasher. Dont necessarily go by the price on the website, which seems to be msrp, but talk to Greg; I got $200 of the big boxm price!

This morning, my new GE range will be delivered. Did I pay more than I would if Id bought at the big box stores? I dont know. Whats more, I really dont care. Any savings I could have found at blue/orange mean nothing compared to the customer service Greg gives. This is my second appliance from Lipscombe and it wont be the last. All I get from the other places is frustration and a complete lack of customer service. I like to buy where my business is valued and Im known by name. No, of course they dont have the volume buying power of the other guys in some cases, but Id much rather spend my money where I matter. No...customer service is most certainly not dead.

We had a terrific experience with Lipscombe Appliance. Diane was so helpful when we ordered our appliance package (which was priced below Costco!) We had an issue with a dent that was found in microwave after unpacking and they took care of a replacement immediately. Worth the drive from Powhatan!

Just bought a home and they delivered my washer and dryer after giving me a great deal on it. And after moving in realized the dishwasher that the builder put in was defective called Greg(the owner) and he helped me get it resolved under the warranty. Great place for all your appliance needs.

They came out to fix my dishwasher, the guy found a piece of glass lodged in the drain tube...he got it out, and said it was fixed. FOUR (4) DAYS LATER....FOUR. ...WATER STILL ISNT DRAINING....THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF WATER IS LEFT IN THE BOTTOM OF MY DISHWASHER....THE SAME AMIUNT AS BEFORE SO I CALLED THE STORE, AND THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME A TRIP CHARGE TO COME OUT AGAIN, AND THEY TAKE ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT FIXING IT PROPERLY. IN FACT, I JUST HAPPEN TO GET THE SAME REPAIR GUY ON THE PHONE, WHO WAS RUDE AS HELL....SO I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER, WHO WAS JUST AS RUDE. ILL END UP HAVING TO SUE THESE PEOPLE, SINCE IM DISABLED AND ON DISABILITY WHICH IS A DAD INCOME, AND I EXPLAINED THAT TO THEM. PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF A SHITLOAD OF MONEY, ALL THESD PEOPLE ARE DOING IS NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM THE DIRAT TIME DO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU TO COME OUT AGAIN!!!!
