I wont be doing business with GM (and thus Linwood) again. I had a minor incident that was caused by my power steering locking up, which it continued to do. When I called about repairs, I was informed that the issue was only covered by GM if it presented by 2020-- why on earth there would be a time limit on something so important surpasses all understanding -- especially since it just had 80K miles on it, and I bought it less than a year and a half ago. I am just lucky that it was in a parking lot and not on the highway.As for the dealership itself, I have been underwhelmed by all my interactions. They havent been rude exactly, but any time I have called I am treated more like an inconvenience than a customer . Past experience tells me that this is either because I bought a used car or because I do not take it in for EVERY maintenance issue. Fair enough; Ill take my business to Alveys or Ballews.

Richard made my first car purchase very simple and easy. He answered all my question in a timely manner and made communication easy. When I came up to test drive, him and all the staff at Linwood were very helpful and informative about the options that were available to me through their dealership. I felt that they were very honest about their pricing and were most interested in putting me in a car that I wanted rather than just making a sale on any vehicle on their lot. I did a lot of browsing online and found Linwood to have good ratings as well as fair pricing. We decided check them out even though it was a bit of a drive. We found the vehicle I wanted and with the help of our Salesman Michael Mix were in and out of there with the keys to my new vehicle within 2 hours. It was definitely worth the trip.

Need a key replaced, the key had become very loose . The parts dept. was very helpful getting it ordered.

Even though everyone was very nice & friendly, the service itself was to take a 1/2 hour, maybe 45 minutes, so we decided to wait. We were there for an hour & a 1/2. If I would have known this, I would have dropped the vehicle off & went to lunch with my son, I hate sitting around & waiting. Not too much of a big thing, but annoying.

Two years ago I was looking for a used car. Mike Mix went out of his way & put me in my 1st ever brand new Spark. Last December I needed a larger vehicle & I went where I knew I would be well taken care of. Mike was a little surprised that I was going to turn Sparky in but was happy to help me again. I drove off the lot with my new 2020 Sonic Blue Sonic. Thank you to everyone at Linwood of Mayfield. Im very pleased with Sonic.

Not overall happy with service from this dealership. Took a 2003 Yukon Denali in due to failed brakes. Turns out full system was rusted and needed to be replaced. $2300 later that was done. Now brake work they did a good job. Where they failed was they had to drop the gas tank in order to replace the brake lines. In doing so they drained 3/4 of a tank of gas and did not refill what they took out. Left me with an empty tank. 2nd, I got a Evap Large leak fault code / engine light right after their work. Was going to cost another diagnosis fee for them to inspect, so I took it to another shop here in Mayfield. $140 later (smoke test / labor) it was discovered that Linwood Chevy when they dropped the tank they forgot to reconnect the EVAP hoses back. As they were disconnected. Dealerships are not suppose to make these kind of mistakes. Especially at the labor rates that they charge. I will not be going back to this dealer.

Absolutely no haggling because their initial price was fair and better than any other dealership within a 200 mile radius. I drove from Clarksville and it was absolutely worth the time. Prior to finding a car with Linwood our shopping experience was starting to become stressful. We talked to multiple lots who tried to push cars on us that were either outside of our budget or not at all what we were looking for. We found a car we liked online and started our communication with Richard Farris via email on setting up a time to test drive it. When we got to the lot he had the car pulled up front and ready for us to test out. Never once did we get the feeling that he was trying to push the sale on us nor did he try to get us to look at other vehicles. Once the decision was made to purchase Richard and the Financing department were fantastic to work with. They were attentive and answered all our questions. Once we are ready to replace our other vehicle Richard and the team at Linwood will be our fist choice.

Just looking to replace our family hauler, stopped in on a SATURDAY looking to test drive one. We was allowed to browse without pressure. James “Dizzy” Offered to open anything we wanted to try our car seats in. I’m sure we was more than “needy” he was more than happy to assist with our multiple request. It never bothered him, we had kids and the whole 9 yards with us. Completely unprepared to buy. 😂 The cars we liked he offered to let us drive. We was able to remove 3 of 4 options from our list in 1 hour or less. We spent weeks looking and should have just came here first. We drove or looked at 5 suvs. They was almost the cheapest in a 500 mile radius. And was the cheapest for the model and trim we was searching for in a 100 mile range. We got exactly what we wanted here cheaper than anything close by, James got what we wanted on trade, and final price. Of course I researched and asked for fair requests in the current market.. that’s important to know ahead. The finance session was nice I gave the rate my bank offered and they matched almost exactly. Tip for buying cars is educate yourself in what you want and need, your price range, and your trade value in real money. Then find a trustworthy dealership to deal with. I fully recommend Linwood and James to my friends and family.

I just moved to the area, and I was looking for a dealership to call my go to place. Let me tell you one thing the service writers at Linwood got it going on! They are super friendly and knowledgeable. As I sit here and wait an elderly lady comes into the waiting area. She is just waiting to have her oil changed, it’s not very expensive at all anyways. The service writer Levi comes to the waiting area and sits beside her and lets her know that the oil change is not needed. I will have to say this is absolutely awesome! Most dealerships would have done it anyways and charged her to do it, but these guys did not! Super shocked and super proud of these guys! Would recommend them to anyone. GREAT JOB GUYS!

My experience at Linwood Chevrolet dealership in Mayfield Kentucky was terrible they were paid over $7000 to replace the engine and air compressor after they changed the air compressor just so happens the air stopped working but they said it wasnt there fault Then they tried to charge me $700 over $700 to repair what they Messed up.

Everyone there was very professional and knowledgeable of every question asked. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a new car or truck.

You might buy a vehicle without a trade but if you try to trade with them, they will give you about 50% of what everyone else will give you. And they will follow you out to your vehicle still telling you how good of a deal they are giving you, when you can trade just about anywhere else cheaper.

I have to give a huge shout out to Levi in the service department. I was on vacation at Kentucky Lake when my 2014 Silverado broke down and would not run. I called around but no one could get me in on a Friday as we were leaving on Saturday. Then I called Linwood and spoke with Levi who told me if I could get it there he would do everything he could to get me back on the road. He was courteous and kept me informed of the progress and they got me taken care of by the end of the day Friday. Just wanted to give recognition where its due. Thanks Levi.
