We’ve been going here a long time and I need to say this- I don’t think they’ve ever cleaned their restrooms. So filthy! And! The window sills, the floor, much more. You had all of 2020 to do this and yet…it’s just gross. I will not add the pics.

This bagel spot seems to be the best in the area. Nice staff, quick preparation and tasty bagel sandwiches. I got a salt bagel and it was as plenty salty, which I love. Definitely worth a stop!

The table was visible with food build up needed a good cleaning, onion stick was good flavor, table was gross build up was something felt when I sat down ....

Their onion bagels are my favorite and my kids love them too. Some of the sandwiches can be a little pricey but they are great to take home and make your own sandwiches.

Friendly staff, FANTASTIC bagels, and a clean store. I feel safe ordering food here in the midst of a global pandemic. I see someone wiping tables and chairs down every time I visit. Employees wear masks or face shields and change their gloves regularly. I would eat 3 eggels every day of my life if it was physically possible and socially acceptable

Got the bacon lettuce tomatoe on onion bagel!! The amount of bacon is insane!! Love the chicken chili. Best sandwich place hands down. No more 5$ footlong for me lol. Clean place nice people!!

We had been at the Maumee Antique Mall since noon. When we got out we were hungry & spied Barry Bagels. Lots of different bagels, toppings, sandwiches, & soup. Nice clean friendly place. We definitely will be back the next time we are up this way.

I was here picking up an order today and the young girl making the deliver orders said “it won’t be ready for another 40 minutes.” I asked why the wait was so long and she said “we’re understaffed! And we have so many other orders!” So rudely. Not even an apology from her or the manager.

Workers not able to get mask over their faces. I would not trust they wash their hands or clean work stations. This place is a mess. Told management and they brushed it off as teens will be teens. This is my last trip to this Barrys.. Edit. Manager says this is not true. However the management lies. This place is trash. 164 reviews all over the place and most are 5 star. No reason to lie about a place Ive gone for bagels since I was 5 years old. Dont go here anymore as it is poorly run and unsafe

My entire family loves Barrys Bagels. Above and beyond being the best bagel in town and in the state, they are always clean, friendly, and quick service no matter how busy they are. I love how they are just as good the next day, unlike done other bagels. My wife loves how warm and soft they are, my daughters love the cream cheese and sandwiches. I also cant find a better breakfast sandwich anywhere. Every location is just as good, even in Columbus it up in Michigan, we visit them everywhere they are, and they are all ran the same, perfect. I cant say enough. They make the simple bagel amazing.

The bagels are kinda small for the price. Theyre very good bagels, chewy in the center but kinda dry and mealy on the outside. Their toaster is working overtime and makes the bagel a nice golden brown. Cream cheese is generic but good.

Tried to order twice online with no luck, I called the location and explained that I was having trouble, I was told that others had recently told them the same. I called 3 times to ask if I they could take my order over the phone but was told that I could only order online for the current deal being offered. The manager told me that she reset the pickup time for online ordering and to try again, I tried a fourth time with the same frustrating outcome. I was frustrated on the lack of customer service since they were having trouble with their online ordering system. I’m happy to take my business elsewhere!

My very favorite bagel place! Service is always prompt and friendly. Bagels are fresh and delicious. The corned beef on an everything bagel is my fav! If you stop by a location that serves potatoes, I would recommend trying them. Super delicious!

I gave 3 stars because of the following...I have only been in Toledo a cpl years and Ive heard alot about your place. Good things. I finally had time to give it a try. I went in on a non-peak time. It was not lunch rush etc..and no one was behind me in line. As a first-timer I was overwhelmed at all the options (as I only thought it was bagels). I was greeted with a simple hello...but nothing more. I said I have never been here I need to look a moment I was not offered any information about the place nor was any conversation had with me. It seemed I was interrupting their cleaning time. I felt very unwelcome. So I opted for a bagel and a cup of mac-n-cheese and was given my change and pretty much ok bye was how it felt. Getting good food is one thing but for me having a good experience, feeling welcome and maybe a brief summary of what there was to offer would have helped. I will probably give it another chance some day but thats my reason for 3 stars.

Mouth watering-ly good bagels

End of an era? I fear there will no longer be consistent bagels in Toledo. I purchased a dozen bagels with no hole in the middle that were raw inside.They may continue to make bagels, but the era of consistent quality is over, as is the case too often when the business is passed to the next generation. Those bagels passed a few peoples eyes before being sold. it simply wouldnt have happened under barrys watch.

Whats not to love about Barry Bagels? Its a perfect quick bite to eat for breakfast or lunch, with a good variety to choose from. They eggels (bagel breakfast sandwiches) are really awesome. I love the feta spinach bagel, but cranberry is my favorite (its only a special seasonal flavor now though). Also awesome: matzo ball soup, enchilada soup, and the black & white cookies. Yum!

I ordered online and got two breakfast sandwiches and a vanilla cinnamon bagel and and chocolate chip bagel. I picked my food up and got home and realized they forgot my chocolate chip bagel and I was missing a topping on my breakfast sandwich(which was very good even without the missing topping) . So I drove back to get my bagel and they were closed. This was my first time having Barry Bagels and I was excited to try their food, but I was let a little let down by this visit.Update: I would like to change my rating because their customer service was great. When it came to resolving this problem they were quick to respond. Looking forward to visiting Barry Bagels in the future! (:

We had everything, onion and honey wheat bagels with jalapeno cream cheese, plain cream cheese and butter on them and I wish I lived closer.The bagels where as fresh as you could want, flavor was awesome and the staff was courteous, friendly and welcoming.Well worth stopping here for their offerings.

I come here at least once a week and travel 20 minutes to do so. My wife always calls in our order and it is always ready before I arrive. The staff is all friendly and the tables are always clean ( from time to time we dine in ) keep on keeping on Barry Bagels!

I really like Barrys Bagels, but the prices are a bit out whack for what you get. For a small dollup of tuna and a sliced bagel, its $6.50-$7.00. thats kind of nuts. For that price you dont get a drink or a bag or chips. Cheese is also an additional expense.

Ive been dining here for years and never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious! They messed my order up once but were so polite about fixing it I wouldnt hold it against them. My only complaint is its often super busy and the lines are long but thats a testament to how good their food is. And they are pretty good at keeping it moving quickly but efficiently. Highly recommend this place for breakfast andns lunch.

I was named chicken salad connoisseur of 2015 by the American Independent Chicken Salad Association & I can tell you that their chicken salad is top notch quality. The consistency you seek in chicken salad is here & it is, as the french say, delicious.

Farmers eagel had very little vegetables. Half the egg on the sandwich was just egg no veggies. Why pay for farmers when its just mostly plain egg a big RIP off

I really enjoy the food here but wouldnt recommend doing a pick up order. Went today to pick up and stood their completely ignored by staff for fifteen minutes and ultimately had to leave before I ever got anyone to even acknowledge me let alone get my order. You are better just waiting in line and ordering there as they dont have a very good set up for pick ups. Very disappointed by my experience today.

The food is delicious. The bagles taste fresh and the soups are amazing. Things get real hectic during busy times but it is definitely worth it.

Could the Customer Service be any worse? Lets forget the price for now. $7.98 for a bagel with cream cheese and a bag of chips is ridiculous, but there arent a ton of Bagel options in Maumee. The customer service at the Maumee location couldnt be any worse. The employees are mean spirited and talk to you as if you just kicked them in the shin. Barry was the Magic of this place. He was genuine and kind, it was always a pleasure to go to the original Bagel Place in Sylvania. He remembered you and was always happy to see you. Barrys Bagel isnt a great experience, just a very high priced place that refuses to hire and train their employees to be friendly to the customer. Im done paying for marked up bags of chips, marked way up drinks, overpriced meatless bagel that costs less than 2 cents to make. #votewithyourdollar
