Did a great job on my tires and oil change but it took over 3 hours

It took over 2 hrs just to get my oil changed? On top of that they broke the oil filter cap! They said It was broke before I got here, yet I have to go get a new one now in order to keep the oil from leaking out. How does that make sense?

Ryan and the crew at this Wal-Mart Tire & Auto shop did a great job making sure I got a slow leak on a steer tire fixed. I have to make a delivery first thing in the morning and I didnt want to be dealing with a flat. Ryan also found an innovative way to keep a tire machine from gouging my aluminum rim. Until he did, I was looking at starting completely over from putting the wheel back on the truck that wasnt going in a bay, to finding an open shop nearby on a Sunday. Very happy. Many thanks to this Wal-Mart.

Was there at 7am. Didnt open until 730. Then skipped over me for 2 hours before I left.

I went to Walmart late after work without an appointment because I had a dead battery when I got off work. They were very courteous to me and took my van in putting a new battery in for me. I couldnt have asked for better service than what I received tonight.

Visited the Automotive Department for variety of fluids needed for my vehicle. Was able to purchase what I needed and located items myself fairly easily.Only negatives were that the department is not open 24-hours even though this is a 24-hours store. Also noticed that although I did not need assistance in this area of the store, I did not see any employees working in this department at the time, to assist customers.The actual vehicle repair portion of the department was closed or after their operating hours which I am sure made the difference in availability of employee assistance.It was a fairly short, simple, mission-accomplished visit after the 3rd attempt/day in going to pick up the items I needed. (Due to my work schedule, shopping after 10 p.m. 2 out of the 3 visits.)

This place does oil changes. They are the only place open after 5:30. They are a few dollars cheaper than everywhere else. Thats as far as the praise goes.Honestly, just take the hit and go somewhere else for auto service. Walmart does not know how to run an auto center. Ive been turned away so many times because the wait would be over two hours, and I see why. They have only two people working in the garage at a time, and they both stop what they are doing for 5-10 minutes to attend to new customers. Theyre using such outdated handheld computers that it really does take that long.

Poor customer service will never go back

I stopped here on a road trip to get an oil change and a headlight replaced. With only one car in front of me in line, it took 2 hours and 10 minutes. (For comparison, the same service takes 30 minutes at the Walmart near my home in Milwaukee.) I got no warning or estimate that it would take so long before I handed over my keys.They are obviously understaffed by people who arent paid enough to care about what they are doing. The mechanics move slow as molasses and take long breaks from working on cars. I hope the Walmart managers here get a wake up call about how much business they are losing by paying only pennies and not giving people hours.

I came here a couple months ago. It was 2+ hours then for 2 tires and an oil change and we are now on hour 4 of the other two tires and an oil change.They are rude, they are lazy, and Im not convinced I dont need someone to double check their work before I drive the 30 miles home. They couldnt figure out how to put my spare back up......but they got it down. At this point I told them to throw my spare in the back of the truck so I can helpfully leave within the next hour.

Fast service on a sunday afternoon. Got me right in and 40 mins later had 2 brand new tires installed. The only concern is that they may have damaged one of my alloy rims. I have to review some pics of my car to determine if the rim had previous damage.

They told me they couldn’t change one of my small headlight bulbs because they had to remove the whole front bumper to do so because they “googled” it to see how to change a Ford Fusions headlight. They shouldn’t have to “google” to do something they should know how to do. Also, I googled it for my car and it never says to remove the front bumper. Odd. Called Fleet Farm and they said they could do it in 40 minutes. In other words, Walmart Auto Center is inexperienced and wouldn’t trust them with my car, or at all.

Unimaginably slow. An oil change and 2 New tires took 2 and a half hours. After 2 hours returned to the tire center to see the tire tech moving in slow motion. Lets,get a little hustle guys! The cashier was matter of fact and took little interest in helping when we had a concern regarding the charges. Lets try to appreciate the one who pays your wages!

They did an iffy job on my car an forgot to put my oil cap back on

Never actually had any work done. I called twice and no one answerd. So I drove there had to be let inside by the mechanic, clearly I was in the back of the building for automotive services. Waited at the desk for 15 minutes, wondering around looking for someone to help me, waited another five minutes at the desk, finally a lady comes. She informs me that the mechanics set their own schedule, so then I go back outside to be told so and sos going to lunch and Im taking a break, itll be about an hour. I then wonder around with my nine-month-old and a three-year-old for an hour. I go to the back told him Im there for an oil change and the gentleman tells me itll be another hour because there are three people ahead of you. It is first come first serve. Which the first person failed to mention. Needless to say since I had two children they were not going wait another hour to get an oil change. Walmart you need a better system that was ridiculous. Definitely will not waste my time there ever again

Went in and got four new tires put on and everything was just fine. Less then twenty four hours later I went out and one of them was flat. I took it back in thinking maybe something was messed up when they put the new one on.I managed to run over a nail in the first day. When the manager Rick noticed the dilemma and that I didnt get the road warranty. He put a new tire on and only charged me for the service.Great experience!

I purchased 4 Viva 3 tires last year ! Absolutely loved them ! No problems! Great in the snow ! But there good for 60,000 miles and I only got 32,000 off of them ! I came in to talk to the manager ! He gave me 85% off all new 4 tires ! Wow they were fabulous to me ! Very easy to work with ! Im very impressed ! Thank u !

Overall, Im happy with their service. It just takes them a lot longer to do an oil change than most places.

The man whose only job is to mount tires is a complete idiot. Refuses to mount low profile tires entirely.

Three stars mainly because of the staff. Theres not always staff at the counter when you have a question, and when there is, theyre not always the most helpful.

Nobody is really ever around to help that knows anything about automotive. And desk workers only seem to know about keys and tires

Got some great tires there. No service appointments so check how busy they are before you make service arrangements

My experience was not a very good one. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours, waiting for my van to get 4 new tires on it. A lot people came in after me and they were long gone before I was. My van was up in the air for 2 plus hours, apparently it takes a half hour per tire. Never again will I get tires there.

Had my oil changed on Saturday, and Monday I had to put a new alternator in my vehicle because they spilled oil all over under my hood and my alternator got oil logged. Will not use this auto center again!!

Someone left a greasy footprint on drivers floor, otherwise all ok

It was unbelievably terrible the people who waited on me those two men treated me like s*** and they still didnt get my tire pressure rate 37 on one tire 34 on three other one and didnt even have the common sense to put my spare tire back I am very very disappointed in the service I got at Walmart Tire Center on Sunday August 29th
