Had a wonderful experience here. Dr. Leavitt was absolutely wonderful. Very patient, helpful, and dedicated. He really spent the time to find me the best prescription. No eye dilation is also a wonderful thing thanks to his advanced equipment. He even suggested glasses for computer use and found an asymmetry in my vision my prior provider did not find. He’s also super friendly and we had some great chats too! Added bonus: Caitlin the manager was so helpful. She really took the extra time to help with finding the perfect frames. I will definitely be coming back here!

I asked Kaitlyn for assistance to order specialty glasses for my son with special needs. I had all of the information, she just had to make the effort to contact the glasses company and our insurance company and process .(one of the few on Cape that accept our insurance). She refused to assist.

One of the best doctors Ive ever had, he will answer questions and explain all that you need/want to know. A very patient doctor also. His staff are extremely helpful and have always been amazing and accommodating. Hes also helped family members with sever eye issues as well as common check ups. If you are in desperate need of a great doctor, especially one with fantastic socks, go check them out. They accept many types of insurance. Have an amazing array of glasses frames and sun glasses, located in the commercial heart of Mashpee; so get your eyes check so you can see all the shops and eateries near by. :)

I received a warm welcome on arrival which made me immediately comfortable. Whoever chooses the frames offered does an amazing job. I recently went to Bayview for an urgent appointment - I was able to get in same day and Dr. Leavitt was fantastic - he fixed my emergency issue and did a thorough eye exam with care and expertise.

Driving home from my appointment today I was thinking how grateful I am to have such a caring, kind, knowledge Eye Doctor. Dr Leavitt takes his time and gives a thorough exam. I have been going to him for may years and never felt rushed and any concern I might have about my eyes were addressed. The office has numerous safety protocols in place, I felt very comfortable.

Dr Leavitt is great. NO EYE DILATION!! They bought this high tech machine that takes photos of the retina in 4K that can be reviewed in detail. As a doctor myself I appreciate when someone goes the extra mile to make patients have a better experience.

Dr. Levitt is fantastic, and maybe its just me but very funny! He puts you at ease and explains everything that he is doing. He and his office team take the extra steps to sanitize everything and he has a new machine that takes pictures of the inside of your eyes..yes no dialation required. I didnt think that I would like contacts but, after my exam he put a pair in and I was hooked! He also has a gorgeous selection of glasses. Many of my clients visit his shop for the best selection in frames. I also bought a nice pair after my previous exam which was a while ago, Ill admit I definately needed a new script, which Dr. Levitt gave me. Go see Dr. Levitt if you are due for an eye exam. He is conviently located in Mashpee Commons next to the post office.

Was way past time for me to get new glasses. Everywhere else on cape was telling me 2-5 months for an appointment. Bayview has a cancellation for the next day. I was in a rush to get it done before work. Dr. Leavitt was awesome said we are going to go lightning fast. He has a great sense of humor. Got a full exam done in roughly 20 minutes. Didn’t try to up sell me at all. All the staff were very friendly. Very reasonable prices.

Dr. Leavitt is the consummate professional. He leaves no stone unturned, and does his work in an engaging, calm, and thorough manner. I felt very well taken care of, and I trust him and his assessments. The folks who work with him are great, and they Natalie seem to enjoy being there, but work so well together as a team. Dr. Leavitt is through, actually listens to his patients and is not only knowledgeable, but personable too. He is even forgiving when you go far too long between exams. He also has a great sense of humor. I have to say that his office staff is terrific too. I embarrassingly didnt get the womans name who helped me, but she really took the time to help me find the perfect frames that fit my budget, style & was honest when frames didnt complement me (as a woman that is huge). Ive been seeing Doctor Leavitt for years now and he has always been a shining example of professionalism. He bends over backwards for his patients and genuinely cares about their health. The front desk has always been agreeable and friendly and their options for eyewear are always pretty solid. Th only thing you need to remember is that theyre in the Commons, which means parking can be scarce in the summer.

Heres the good think about Dr. Leavitt and his office. Hell take a look at your insurances and save you money that way and hell walk you through the entire process to explain what your insurance will cover concerning contacts or eyeglasses. Hes on time and thats really important also. I like the fact that youre not treated like your a number and he recognizes that youre human and your time is just as valuable as his. Being respectful is a definite plus also.

It turned out that this place is the best thing that happenened to my wife who without glasses or contacts is classified as legally blind. The doctor was great. He was able to determine that the perscription she was using was too strong and that is why she had headaches. Her new contacts and glasses let her see much better and made her much happier.
