Shopped online. Wife wanted to see dining set in person. Approached by staff asking to purchase in store to help keep the doors open. Stated would provide estimate via email. Didnt receive. Emailed directly inquiring. No response. It has been 5 days.
Ordered pillow cases online, got one pillow case from PB Mashpee location and the pillow case was in disgusting condition. it was pilling, dirty, linty, no tag and no plastic covering, and balled up inside the shipping bag. It never should have been shipped in this condition. The other pillow cases I ordered were new, flat, with tags, not dirty and inside individual plastic bags. Tried calling customer service several times without connecting to any reps, as the line was busy. Finally went to return item to PB in Lynnfield and the sales person was curt and unfriendly. There is no need to support businesses that dont care about customers. Will be closing out my PB credit account.
This review is not for the store location but overall. I have been a Pottery Barn customer for years and spent thousands and thousands over the years but the quality and service has gone way down. I have the benchwright kitchen table with leather chairs, coffee tables, other leather chairs. I just got the Aubrey collection bookcase. The drivers dropped in on my stairs in a box and left. I have to put this thing together myself!? No where does it way this online. Not to mention the pieces are 2 different shades of white. Sad I won’t be shopping here anymore.I guess Restoration Hardware or Crate and Barrel?
If I could give it more than 5 stars for service, I would. Went to the store to get something I saw online. I wanted to send it as a gift. It could not be shipped from the main warehouse for some reason. The local store had what I wanted, but one part was broken. They searched their inventory for another but no luck. Then the sales woman (store mgr.?) began a search online to find a store somewhere that had it and would ship it. This involved calling various stores all over the country! Finally found one that would work, after about half an hour of nonstop searching. The woman in the other store sent a photo since each item was a little different. Both people were incredibly nice and accommodating. Super experience! Local store: Mashpee, Cape Cod. Other store: Avalon in Georgia.
I am annoyed every time I go into this store. Staff greets you with Welcome in which is one of the dumbest greetings I have ever heard. They dont say Goodbye out when you leave. The greeting should be Welcome. Ive been in this store multiple times and never bought anything. Go to TJ Maxx, Marshalls or Homegoods instead. Same stuff. Better prices. And no one greets you with nonsense.
Phenomenal service. Clean store, great selection of products of amazing willingness to help. Will be returning when I need something else.
No staff to check people out... all staff bust with appointments
I have always had good experiences with the Mashpee store. When I had cushions that did not hold up, they let me return. My other products have been great. Sales people have helped with decorating ideas.
