Came here only because donut palace was sold out of the ones we wanted. These donuts were more doughy than donut palaces soft pillowy ones. The Bavarian kreme custard tasted pretty good. It was stuffed so much with cream that it almost busted out of the bottom. so if you like yours with lots of custard than you’ll like these! The regular glazed donut was okay. I just don’t like that the texture is more doughy and not melt in your mouth.They have myrtles bakehouse cookies for sale and they’re huge so I had to pick one up. Best decision ever!! These are SO GOOD. They’re loaded with chocolate chips and super gooey and delicious . You NEED to try one if you come

Their donuts are the best in Blount County, and a sack of their donut holes are nothing short of amazing.The staff has always greeted me and my kids with smiles — even let my kids have a spoon of frosting one time! They have the hallmark friendliness of East Tennessee and I try to get over there once a week.

This is the best donut shop in east Tennessee. Hands down the best donuts Ive ever eaten. The varieties are endless and the quality is second to none. They are rich & decadent. My favorite is the chocolate glazed fallowed by the boston cream. There is truly something for everyone at Richy Kreme. Now they have kolaches as well. I got the sausage & cheddar. It was very good. I highly recommend a visit to Richy Kreme but get there early as they can sell out.

So glad we finally decided to try them out. Amazing donuts, we tried 12 different flavors and all were super tasty, soft and fresh! The Lemon Filled doughnuts are to die for. Absolutely amazing. The other doughnuts arent bad, just kinda average. But those lemon ones...wow. Those are worth the trip from wherever you are coming from.

First time visiting this business, asked a few general questions the woman waiting on me was very short with me which came across as rude. Had already gotten my breakfast from the donut palace ( my regular place) but had heard good things about Richys so thought I would compare. I WILL STICK WITH DONUT PALACE . Product had a lighter dough and just tasted better from the palace.

The best donut place hands down! If you haven’t been there you need to go ASAP! because you definitely don’t know what you’re missing! They have anything from glazed donuts to eclairs, to my all time favorite the maple bacon donut ❤️and they also support other local businesses which is amazing, they carry Cruze farm milk!🙌🏼 and if you’re lucky they will have cinnamon rolls on occasion and their sister company myrtle’s bake house has HUGE cookies❤️ tried the scruffy city today it was so good! I can’t wait to try a chocolate chip (they were sold out of those today).

Richy Kreme have the best donuts by far. IMO. Everyone has their own favorites this is mine since finding them in 2017. Their fresh donut holes melt in your mouth. I also like some of their new choices as well.

One of the best donut places in town. This locally owned shop sells everything from your basic glazed donut to specialty gourmet donuts. If they happen to have cookies in stock, try them. They are worth the sticker shock.(I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie and the scruffy city cookie for those interested)

Good donuts, great variety that seems to change so you don’t get bored. Not as impressed with the service. Nobody was rude but the lady definitely wasn’t friendly and seemed to get frustrated when I asked about what kind of doughnuts were there. I overheard the other woman saying they didn’t have time for signs since the doughnuts change so often which is fine but don’t get irritated when I ask too many questions then.

Donuts are pretty alright but, theyre pretty small in my opinion, at least compared to what they were before the new owner.. and they cost more.

People are very nice. I know they are just starting out and trying to make it happen.Just have a couple cons for me......The sausage cheese and Jalapeno...forgot what they are called.....just arent the same. I wish they would make them like they use to.One more thing....Ive been in there 3 times the last 2 weeks asking for warm donut holes, and every time they say they are warm and they are cold.Thank you for your response!!! I see now why they arent the same. When you get the other sausages back will you make them with more of the dough??? Usually there is more dough then sausage. My favorite part!!!!!

Donuts ok not the best Ive ever had, been coming here for last 3 years donuts then was amazing.. until about a month ago theyve changed.. also I miss seeing my friend that worked there since first time I started coming. Everytime I came by & saw here little car I knew to stop in because she was there. She actually made you feel like you was part of her family we always talked about her dad (that was missing her mom from passing) Ill never forget her..

I go to RK every time I come near Maryville, usually about twice a year. I went today for the first time in over a year and although the donuts are still amazing, the size is now tiny! There was also a hair inside one of the donuts. After 15 years of going out of my way just to go there, Im disappointed and probably wont go again.

I went here this morning and got the coffee milk and it had expired today and they had the nerve to tell me that it was hiboginized. Which isnt even a really thing its pasturized lol. Doughnuts were stale from last night and milk had expired today and they were just making excuses.

The chocolate creme filled and the apple fritter are definitely better than any other Ive eaten before. I recommend anyone to head there in the morning to grab a fresh dozen. You may become the favorite coworker if you do.

This is probably Maryvilles favorite morning stop. If there was a better known place to eat in town it would be a hard claim. Everything here is super sweet as you would expect. Im sure you could probably get your coffee just as sweet if you wanted. Prices are good, as is the variety. This is a hard place to get in and out of. Also plan to come in the AM, they are likely to sell out by lunch or soon after.New ownership is making great stripes to continue traditional treats an also grow the business to new levels. Something amazing is happening here!

Bought two dozen for business meetings, and they were a big hit! Good, unique taste, and nice mixture of options. Our visitor from Washington DC was delighted and even took one for his trip back home! Remodeling and parking out back are great changes! The ladies are always pleasant. Ill be back again for sure!

Been there since the 1950s, maybe longer. A favorite childhood memory is ordering a dozen donuts that were delivered warm, with grease stains on the paper bag. Each donut was huge, the size of a big saucer. The modern version is closer to modern donut size and standards, and still exceptional, with a larger range of filled donuts. Best place for donuts in East Tennessee.

The make them fresh almost every morning. I got a dozen for $11. Best bang for your buck. The salted caramel is awesome and the cream filled ones are sooo tasty. A few had a less filling than i wanted but otherwise it is a great idea to pick up something to eat from here.

This is a long term shop that has been in this same location for years. They are on the to do list for locals. There was no one in the shop as I came in after the morning rush. The fruit filled donuts are the best as I had peach and raspberry. There is Scripture on the walls and smiles on peoples face. A great donut shop.

Great donuts at a reasonable price. The associate working the counter was extremely friendly and informative. We had not been in a while so we had a few questions and she happily answered all of them. $6 for half a dozen mixed donuts isnt cheap but I thought it was fair. The donuts tasted great and had great consistency. Overall I was very happy with our visit and the donuts!

I am not a huge donut fan but my husband loves Richie Cream...or he did love them. Recently, I picked up a few for him as a surprise. He was so disappointed! He said the simple glazed were very different in texture and flavor, and that the Apple Uglies were just plain awful. No apples, and basically just a squished up cinnamon roll. He says he will not be going back there again. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Been a Richy Kreme customer since the 60s. Today was first visit since the remodel and the donuts have definitely changed, not as much glaze as before. I will give them one more chance but from reading other reviews about the recipe change dont hold out much hope.

Poor service. Ordered two boxes of donuts with full intentions of coming to pick them up. When I called to make sure they were ready they told me that someone besides me picked up my order, which I did not tell anyone to pick them up for me, and their response was “well we are closing here soon and have no more donuts”. I gave them plenty of time to make it up to me and even called them the next day and they pretty much told me oh well again. Will never go back there and will encourage others not to.
